While we have seen many funny lyrical adaptation of the Game Of Thrones theme song, this one is unique as its quite beautiful, I would not be surprised if the makers of the series chose to use this in some way. Maybe for a bard!

I remember seeing this ages ago; it's still on my iPod! I believe there's an extended version up for download on her website, with some extra lines for any interested.
When Pastor of Muppets posted this in Wic, I fell completely in love with the song. Been listening to it once a day at least. Found myself humming even more often than that. Showed to my sister one day she was a bit down, and she started crying. Her voice is so touching, the whole thing is so haunting, ethereal and simply... beautiful! I seriously think someone should let D&D know, and that they should hire her, like Aegon says, to make a simmilar thing (with changed lyrics of course) for the season end credits. It would be soo fitting!
ps. Have you visited her website? She's got several songs, very nice stuff, some of them you can download for free. They're also publishing a CD with celtic music.

Rhaegar, despite wounding Robert, was struck down with a massive blow from Robert's warhammer, which scattered the rubies encrusted in Rhaegar's armor under the water. Rhaegar died with Lyanna Stark's name on his lips.
