The Walking Dead season 3 kept the momentum going!
I really liked how they didnt miss a beat and also kept showing us how much characters have evolved since we last saw them. Eternal victim Carol is now pretty much a decent medic and pretty fearless....her zombie "practice" scene shows how much she has changed.
Also I loved how Carl disappeared and before Lori could scream "Where's Carl!" he came back with a bag of medical supplies...sorry Lori kids grow up fast in the zombie apocalypse...deal with it.
I loled too when the prison inmates totally sucked at killing zombies...their "Charge!" moment had me in stitches. Great jump too when Hershel has his "almost zombie" moment!
CANNOT wait for next episode!

That Herschel moment was horrible! You just know it's going to happen and then it does and you almost scream like a little girl! The prison charge moment had me thinking of 300, specially the look on T-Dog's face, "Brave amateurs they do they\'re part." Carl is a lot cooler this season than he was before. Also I like how they weave in and out of the comics and bring severely epic moments to life.

Just finished watching episode 3, great to finally see Woodberry on tv! Awesome since I'm reading the Road to Woodberry atm. I really like Morrisey as the governor, something tells me he would get along great with Tywin.
I saw episode 3 last night, and very much liked Morrisey, he gives a great feeling of menace and power while talking calmly and smiling.
Great to have Merle back, and I hope he reunites with his brother and sparks fly.
Only down note was Michonne , her squinting and frowning for 90% of the episode was very tiring and I hope they bring some more dimension to her character, maybe a flashback episode would help.

I was wondering when you would show up. Brilliant episode, though Michonne got on my nerves as well. The Governor has a fascinating and quite shocking backstory that contrasts fiercely with the cold menacing character he became. I wonder if a certain little girl is gonna show up.

Agree with you guys on Morrisey, he´s very good, and Michonne... girl, just stop it. Character wasted one episode.

I told ya'll she wasn't gonna make it. No one will miss her, which is a shame. We can put that on her tombstone. Here lies Lori Grimes, who everyone wanted dead. Damnit they killed T-dog! You bastards! I liked him! Carl is becoming badass and emerging from the shadow of that whiny kid on Once Upon a Time.

I knew she wasn´t gonna make it but it was very soon and different from the comic. Poor Rick... or was he laughing really?

Wow at this rate everyone will be dead by episode 6! What the hell? T-Dog? Noooo!
Poor Lori, people did not like her character, but I think that was due to erratic writing and not the actress. I am really surprised how quickly they cleaned house this season, and wow the brutality.
Heh, I love it!

My sister was close to tears, until Rick opened his mouth, then she burst out laughing!
yep I know, me too! it was hilarious.
Don, I do like the actress, the character was just horrible. That woman was created to be killed.

Ugh and Michonne is just as one dimensional as last episode. Reminds me of Kristen Steward in Twilight. Can you believe my sister does not like the Governor? Says he irritates her.

yep, Michonne´s a waste of time and space. We got it girl, you don´t trust the guy.
It could be, my dear zombie. Mystery can be irritating. Like Patchface.

The Governor though is quite charming, confident, poker faced, my type of guy. I liked though how they put it on Beyondhollywood.com, "Andrea the type of guy Merle says is a good guy should make you think twice." I liked Michonne more when she was wearing a hoodie.

One more time. Have not seen this program since I can't remember, but caught this weeks'. How sad! I know, it's zombies people are going to die, but the kid shooting his mom was a bit of a stretch, IMO.

Lyanna if you saw the lead up to this episode, you would understand why it was one of the single most awesomest moments ever. If Carl keeps going like this he will one day rule all of what's left of humanity.

Its easy, you don;'t feed the baby...unless you mean feed the baby to walkers which is ok. I so would've let Lori live and the baby die. Yes I realise how that sounds, but man just imagine sneaking through somewhere infested with walkers and the baby starts crying.
Cannot believe this thread was started with "Michonne" How naive we were.

Nice episode, finally got to meet the Governors daughter Penny, what cute pair...till he ripped her scalp open with the hairbrush lol.
Michonne is slowly emerging, I liked her little "unwind" moments with the zombies she found, her sword sure makes her smile. Would love to see more of her background tho, give her a bit more character development.
Hey Aegon, did ya know this season will be split too? This one goes till episode 8, and then we gotta wait till February next year. :(

Yeah that was quite disgusting, but is she really his daughter? That's the question. Michonne was much better this episode! And she does wield that thing like a boss! Yes DNA I knew and I've been dreading it all season, I hate the mid season hiatus! So unnecessary.

I'm not reading this thread, as I've only gotten to Season 2 Episode 8, but I thought you would all appreciate this meme:
well I really like this particular redneck.

I hope they don´t prolong the plot with the crazy phone calls... don´t like it. Remind me please, why I watch this series?

I think they got it out of the way quickly, it's over and done with. It dragged out much longer in the comics. Rick was the week point of this week's episode. But Daryl showed again why we all love him so much.

"Remember the Álamo?"... Daryl you keep getting better and better but your bro is hell. Aw Glenn, poor boy.
Andrea, you need to honor thy name.

I quite enjoyed it. This episode again illustrated why in the event of an apocalypse it is pivotal you have someone you don't like or care about close by. Damn Glenn is one tough sum amu bitch.

Oh and added I don't like how the governor is a nicer guy in the series. Comic books he raped the shit out of Michonne and thought he would do the same with Maggie.

Rape is generally something really difficult to portray on American television, and writers and producers are quite frequently willing to shy away from it rather than subject themselves to likely negative public attention. It often doesn't make it from original material to adaptation.

They could've just had him take his pants off, bend her over and then cut scene. Not suggesting they should have graphically showed it. It's just like they split the Governors personality in two with him getting the good and Merle getting all the bad.

Aegon, it was horrible enough. Ellipses are a way to tell stories too.

No it was quite clear he did not rape her. Governor is not evil enough.
You didn´t understand. I was talking about your ellipsis: "They could've just had him take his pants off, bend her over and then cut scene." And I said it is horrible enough to get naked in front of the asshole, (or any other person for that matter if you don´t feel like getting naked), who just beat up your boyfriend. Horrible enough, whether youdothe whole sceneorsuggest itwithan ellipsis. Besides, that wasn´t the point of the scene. The governor is pretty transparent by now if not evil. More would be redundant and Maggie had something to say too and just after her resolution he lost the desire to rape her.

Oh well I was suggesting the same thing, they should have cut the scene but with the implications of rape quite clear.
I know you said that. I´m saying is not necessary, even the ellipsis.
