Very much in anticipation for Assasins Creed 3. Currently re-playing Batman: Arkham City, Star Craft 2 (Seriously Blizzard where is my expansion?) Walking Dead episode 3 should be out within the week, Dead Island, Lord of the Rings: War in the North and eagerly awaiting the Lego Lord of the Rings.

I'm a die-hard Bioware fan (even after EA's takeover *long sigh*), and have been for years, so I'm more into RPGs than anything else. I'm currently on a Mass Effect 3 re-play, and after that - who knows. I have yet to play Skyrim, I've abandoned the Elder Scrolls series after Oblivion, it just didn't click with me. Same with Assassin's Creed. I'm a bit out of touch with the latest releases, so I'll have to spend a couple of days on IGN or Gamespot before trying my hand at something else.
I really enjoyed Mass Effect too, the second game was the best on the series IMO, I really wanted to like Skyrim, but likewise it did not click. I guess I like a more focused experience instead of such an open one.
I really like co-operative games though, nothing is more fun than mayhem with a person by your side.

^ No, alas it is not haha. When I said a group was recreating Westeros, I didn't mean me. The guys I was referring to are THESE guys http://westeroscraft.tumblr.com/
Both of those are much more impressive than anything i've built :P My channels success is mostly based around laughing at our own incompetence.

Mine? It's https://www.youtube.com/user/WolfstoneGaming but be warned, foul language and rampant immaturity. Hopefully when Ryan (The guy I do the channel with) gets his computer back, we'll be uploading on a more regular basis. We're inconsistent as all hell right now. What's your channel, by the way? A million total views is pretty damn impressive!

I loved the open world experience of Skyrim, but the combat destroyed the game for me. I still say it's overrated just because of that one aspect. If a Snow Cat attacks me I freak out and often die, when a dragon attacks I'm calm cause they are rather easy to defeat.

I really enjoyed Skyrim, especially the story aspect, but I was really let down by how buggy the Playstation version of the game was. The patches came really late, and it was next to unplayable for quite some time because it would freeze or get framerates of 1 or 2 frames per second. While it worked, I was engrossed though! Haha.
Any Minecraft players here? I run a gaming channel on Youtube with a friend of mine, so we play it quite a lot. Building entire worlds is quite an undertaking, but it's a lot of fun. I've spent many an hour just roaming around various cities we've built, adding little personal touches to the houses and whatnot. In fact, there are a group out there recreating Westeros in Minecraft, so that might be of interest to some of you.

Har! I had a gaming channel on youtube too...almost got a million views total. I am currently waiting on a new HD capture card so I can come back in.
I am currently playing MineCraft on the Xbox, got a nice castle built too!

Wow, '06 was early in the gaming scene, that's pretty awesome. I never really knew about gaming on Youtube till Call of Duty 4 came out, and those commentators blew up.
My brother plays minecraft like crazy, he's gonna freak the fuck out when he learns about the Westeros stuff. RE: Skyrim yeah the unable to fight on horse was a big letdown, was finished with the game by the time the patch to fix it came out.

@ Aegon - Have you tried Dawnguard yet? I haven't gotten around to checking it out yet, but I probably will in the coming weeks. It looked pretty badass.

I'm an occasional PC gamer. Basically I borrow some of my sister's games. Right now I'm playing Dragon Age 2 for the second time so that I can play some of the new downloadable content. But I only have a few hours per week, so it could take a long time.
And once in a while I'll play one of the Halo games with my little brother. But neither of us have much time for that, so it's getting to be pretty rare.

Yay, a kindred soul. I must have played all Dragon Age (1&2) DlCs, except for Leliana's Song and Darkspawn Chronicles. *gamer mode on* Who did you side with in DA2???? haha.
I couldn't play Darkspawn Chronicles. Hated it. Last time I played DA2, I killed Anders and sided with the mages. I don't know what I'll do this time. It would be hard for me to side with the templars. Who did you side with on DA2?
Mages, duuuuh. and I loved Anders in Awakening, I couldn't kill him in DA2, he was my LI! I ran away with him to have crazy times and blow up chantries.
@DNA - Not enough loot? Speaking of not-so-great reviews, has anyone played The Old Republic? The trailers looked amazing, but every SW fan I know was disappointed with the game.
I've wanted so badly to play that game! I even volunteered my pc for the testing phase and was accepted only to find that the game was not supported in SA and I couldn't even test it. Still really wanna play it.

I am more of an action RPG player, don't care much for JRPG's ( but did enjoy Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy on the SNES). I enjoyed the Elder Scroll series, though Skyrim felt tpo bloated to me. I really enjoyed Fallout 3 and the Mass Effect series, though most purist would say they are no "true" RPG's, but whatever I enjoyed em.

Eeeeeeew! Ha ha, sorry, but I hate those. I guess I could never get into that style of designing characters. I'm traumatized, I grew up with Sailor Moon.
FUCK DNA! I just finished episode 4 of the Walking Dead, I'm hurting emotionally even more than after episode 3, the finale is gonna be tough to play through. Dreading the end but I must know what happened. Oh and all I can say about school bells towers is good riddance to bad rubbish!

I know, right!? They have done a great job creating a gripping storyline, and somehow since you are making the decisions everything is twice as heartbreaking.

I've gotta know, the choice at the belltower right before you manage to escape, what was your decision? Looking forward to season 2 but very confused for obvious reasons considering the ending.

S. T. A. L. K. E. R.: Call of Priyat was my introduction to first-person shooter games. now I'm hooked. Still getting through Skyrim. At least I'm a werewolf now, it is cool.

Skyrim left me so dissapointed Mags, I struggle more to kill the damn snow bears than I do a full grown dragon. Oh and every guard's cousin is off fighting dragons somewhere.

Hahaha, yeah, the stronger you get the easier it becomes to kill those dragons, but I use their souls. And the minute you are fully through the Assassins arc, the Night Mother keeps sending you to kill the same people over and over again.
