I don't have a lot of predictions, haven't seen most of the shows that were nominated, but there are a few close to my heart (apart from GoT, of course).
Joanne Froggatt as Anna in "Downton Abbey" for Supporting Drama Actress
Emma Thompson as She in "The Song of Lunch" for Lead Actress in a Miniseries/Movie
Idris Elba as John Luther in "Luther" for Lead Actor in a Miniseries/Movie
David Strathairn as John Dos Passos in "Hemingway & Gellhorn" for Supporting Actor in a Miniseries/Movie
Paul McGuigan, "Sherlock: A Scandal in Belgravia" for Directing for a Miniseries/Movie
Steven Moffat, "Sherlock: A Scandal in Belgravia" for Writing for a Miniseries/Movie
And I'm torn between "Luther" and "Sherlock: A Scandal in Belgravia" for Best Miniseries/Movie. I love them both, but a Scandal in Belgravia was so damn good.
Wow, wish I could see the Sherlock in Belgrade miniseries, I'm a big fan of the books. Is that the same Steven Moffat of Dr. Who fame ???
Emma Thompson is sadly missed in my life. I miss her acting skills, she's a chameleon like Meryl Streep. Sadly the " Song of Lunch " is not available here either.
I have seen " Luther " on BBC. Very underrated actor. I would vote for him but by default, as I am not familiar with Paul McGuigan.
Wildseed - Yes, Steven Moffat is the co-creator of Sherlock (BBC), and he wrote A Scandal in Belgravia (loosely based on A Scandal in Bohemia). Paul McGuigan directed the episode, he's wonderful with the camera. I highly recommend it, check PBS - that's where both seasons aired.
Luther, just to see Idris Elba. Nah, I really like Luther.
Talking about DAvid Strathairn. Did someone watched Passion Fish by John Sayles? Amazing

Emmy's in two days, while I hope GOT will win, I doubt it. Not because of it's genre, no one thought "The Return Of The King" would win, fantasy has become mainstream enough for it to win big.
I personally hope season 3 or 4 of GOT will nab best Drama...that would be just amazing.

And wow, Giancarlo Esposito was AMAZING in Breaking Bad, I would not be surprised if he won over Tyrion...as good as Dink is..for the opposite reasons.
