When someone asks me which of the novels is my favorite my gut response is always A Storm of Swords.   Here is my list why it kicks so much butt and will make for great televison.

No need for spoiler tags in here, me thinks.

My top moments from the book:

10. Littlefinger's reveal as the one behind Sansa's rescue. (that won't work in the show now, will it? Hmph! *grumpy*)
9. Dolorous Edd doesn't get to be Lord Commander.
8. Jorah is exiled. (screw you, missy!)
7. The Old bear's watch is done.
6. UnCat
5. Pigeon Pie.
4. Tywin takes an arrow to the kne...um sorry, kraken
3. Bear pit.
2. Trumpets at the Wall stannis
1. Grey Wind's head on...you know. That tops everything for me. And they're friggin' doing it ahahahah...wait that's not funny. 

PS: Paul, I moved your topic here, because initially it was outside of any category and ended up on a separate subforum (of its own).
