Hmm, maybe this way Neil Gaiman will finally grow on me. I've only read some of his short stories (good, but not great), and I wasn't too impressed by his Doctor Who scripts either, so I never got any of his novels.
I remember they optioned the rights a couple of years ago. Fuck you Neil Gaiman, I'm not your bitch and I hope your shitty show will get cancelled after 1 season.
On the flipside: they have the storyline set out for 6 seasons and a cheap budget. I guess HBO learned their lesson with Gurm's story going nowhere.

Can someone shed some light as to why I should give a fuck about this news? I have no idea who he is or what this is about. And "Googling" something is so 2004.
