Hmm, maybe this way Neil Gaiman will finally grow on me. I've only read some of his short stories (good, but not great), and I wasn't too impressed by his Doctor Who scripts either, so I never got any of his novels.

I remember they optioned the rights a couple of years ago. Fuck you Neil Gaiman, I'm not your bitch and I hope your shitty show will get cancelled after 1 season.

On the flipside: they have the storyline set out for 6 seasons and a cheap budget. I guess HBO learned their lesson with Gurm's story going nowhere.

Anansi Boys is a sort of sequel to American Gods. I predict something more like a True Blood like devotion to the books

But it's about damn time. These will be great.

I never heard anyone gush about Neil Gaiman, but it might work better on Tv. We shall see.
