Move over, Tyrion! Peter Dinklage as the mutant-hating Bolivar Trask.

The continuity of this series is just fucked at this point, amirite?
I remember the original "Days of Future Past" story arc in the 80s X-Men comics. It was an alternate future anyway. So fucked continuity was appropriate.

- How did Xavier get his body back after being desintegrated? Even the ending tag showed him moving his mind to someone else's body, fine, but how did this other person end up resembling him AND also being wheelchair bound?
- The awful Wolverine origins movie showed Xavier walking around just fine. Is it canon or not?

I believe that person who was in a coma was Xavier's twin brother.

Ly - I liked Kitsch as Gambit but it looks like they're going to recast that role in the future, it's a pity but Origins was such a bad movie Fox want to erase any memory of it.
The producer of the franchise wants Channing Tatum to play Gambit.

WTF? KK, I like Channing, I do, but Seven Hells! He's not supposed to be a muscle bound exotic dancer, he's a lithe, springy gambler, shan, shan, shan

Every time I think about DOFP I can't help but geek out, this movie really was superb. Bryan Singer completely hit the ball out of the park. Fassbender, Jackman and J-Law were all great but McAvoy really stood out this time. James gave an outstanding performance as Charles, he really has made that character is own now. Oh and shockingly Quicksilver almost stole the movie, every scene involving that character was entertaining and had the audience in stitches. The time travel plot is handled well and isn't too confusing to follow nor does it create giant plot holes for the movie. The Sentinels are pretty cool but are incredibly formidable in the future, you'll be shocked to see what they do to certain characters. The score was also surprisingly good, I loved hearing the X2 theme again, you'll be humming it for hours after you finishing watching the movie. The story had me on the edge of my seat for the majority of the movie. I also thought the pace was fantastic, not once did I feel like this was a 2 hour movie, it zipped along perfectly. By the end of the movie you will be extremely satisfied with what Singer has done, the sour taste of X-Men 3 has been completely erased!
I struggle to find any cons with X-Men: Days of Future Past, honestly it really is that good.
IMO DOFP deserves Five Shots of Whiskey from the Gem Saloon. It's probably the best X-Men movie to date and perhaps even better than The Winter Soldier. Bryan Singer has set the bar very high for the rest of the summer movies to follow.
Oh and make sure to stay till after the credits!!!!!!!!!!!

I liked it a lot. I really did. However, it's very dark to me. Call me shallow, but I love the X-Men saving the day. This is not that movie. I loved Quicksilver he cracked me up, totally. His scenes were wonderful, I love his mom opening the front door and offering a check for whatever he's done Peter Dink is also very good. I kept wanting to say, "Free Tyrion", but I held my tongue. Acting by Fassbender and McAvoy is great, good stuff. I just can't get past the dark stuff. Too many mutants dead, melting, burning, being pulled apart, autopsy pics, jeez ugh. And my biggest bitch is Sookie Stackhouse is in there for 5 seconds, what? Why is she even on the credits? I don't miss her constant drama, but seven hells, that was waaaay too much recognition for a in the wind cameo. I loved Iceman surfing around, that was cool. It was great to see Jean Gray at the end, she hasn't aged a day, beautiful bitch. So, yeah, glad I saw it, but too dark for me.

Ok, so I have seen it today. I thought is was good, but not like the first ones. I thought McAvoy and Fassbender nailed it. The part at the end where everyone is still around was just so emotional I felt like tearing up. I won't spoil it for people that didn't see it but I rate it a B-.
I liked it a lot. Best XMen since the first three.
Ummm no.
f

Don't know how I feel about this yet, but I always look forward to a new X-Men:
