I'm watching this! Thought I was the only one. Happy to see it measures up to the original, even if I was never a fan of Clemence Poesy. She and Dillane make a good team, and so far the show is extremely solid. Benjen always plays creepy characters, and they're all fantastic .
Downloaded this and then read Macha's comment there was an original series of this which I actually saw. Lol, instead of a bridge they're using the tunnel under the channel. I am probably one of the only persons in the world who is not a fan of scandinavian TV-shows and I didn't like the original much after the first couple of good episodes, but of course Stannis will make me check this out.
Can someone explain to me how the US version works, is there some bridge connected to Canada?

Texas-Chihuahua. Haven't seen the US version, but I might after this one ends.
I tend to like Scandinavian TV shows, but I also feel they lack..something? A bit more warmth, perhaps. I liked Forbydelsen, for example, but I adored The Killing. To me, it was an improvement over the original, and I think The Tunnel is heading that way too.
Have you guys seen the finale? Different from the original version, not sure if for better or for worst. Terrific acting though, all the way. Would love a second season of it, but it seems they weren't really aiming for it.
you should try the original version Al, it rocks from beginning to end. I love that show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmmm, got back into this one and now I am up to episode 8....very strong show. I have not heard many good things about the US version sadly...so imma gonna skip that one.
