Last set was a bit annoying as the commentaries were recorded as the season was finished, so the actors were seeing the episode for the first time, many of them were quite distracted when viewing them.
I am quite looking forward to the Richard Madded, Michelle Fairley episode.

I couldn't find a thread for Season 1 DVDs so I'm just going to post this here. I read an article that there was an unaired pilot for GoT and the script for it (or at least some parts) was posted online. I was wondering if any who have the season 1 DVDs have seen it. Is it on there as a bonus feature?

I know that certain parts of the McCarthy pilot are still in the episode that aired. You can notice it in scenes if you look at Ned's hair. The scene with Robert paying his respects to Lyanna for example, or the part where Jaime confronts Ned at the feast.
They do discuss the pilot but I don't remember if there was a feature from the extras about it.
Poor Richard and Michelle were a wreck at the end of the episode 9 commentary.
She had not seen the episode till the recorded the commentary, poor woman.
Amazing set!

I did not cry watching the episode when it aired as much as I cried watching it now with their commentary. It's unbelievable how attached these people are to their roles.
The Stark kids tried a musical intro to their commentary again, this once was not as catchy as their last one. They are still adorable together tho....them talking about memes was great!

I think most cast members of this show will do fine after their show tenures.
Dinklage, Clarke, Nikolaj, Harrington and Madden have bright futures. Not sure about the rest. I'd love to say Maisie will go on to be a star but I am not so confident

I think so too, especially the young actors. And most of them really deserve it too.
Ok, went through some of the other commentaries and I have to say, NCW and Gwen are hysterical. She has the most creepy and intoxicating laugh I have ever heard, it's so endearing. John Bradley also is a treat to listen to. Such a clever, funny man. And finally, FINALLY someone thought of having Iain Glen do audio porn a commentary track. I stand by this 100%.
D&D remain my favorite commentators, probably because of the anecdotes and inside scoops, and GRRM's commentary was *exactly* what I expected it to be. This was in my script, this was not in my script, I wrote this, I didn't write this, this got moved into my episode, why is no one on a horse, walking is so silly.
That Histories and Lores feature really is outstanding, I wish Warner Bros would make a similar feature for the Tolkien universe. The Roose Bolton one was particularly gory and delightful.
What in the blue hell has happened to Aiden Gillen's Littlefinger accent? It was all over the place in Histories and Lores. During his Vale one he was practically speaking in his native Irish. Then during the Rebellion debate with Varys it went back to full pantomime mode, it was the hammiest I have ever heard it.
BTW where in the seven hells did Lancel disappear to this season?
That episode 9 commentary would of been slightly better if David Nutter wasn't there, I wanted to hear Richard and Michelle discuss the episode not more technical malarky, I'd already heard enough of that in the previous episodes.
HBO also missed the boat by not making it a visual commentary. I would have gotten Oona, David, Roose, Richard and Michelle all in a room together and recorded their reactions.

What's the easter eggs for this seasons Blu Ray?
Yeah, Nutter is a great director, but his was not a commentary...but a narration!
"Here we see Arya and the hound try and sneak into the Twins"
"Here we see the Frey guards shoot down Grey Wind!
NO SHIT SHERLOCK!
