Unexpected visitors arrive in Mole’s Town; Littlefinger’s motives are questioned; Ramsay tries to prove himself to his father; Tyrion’s fate is decided.
Sophie ftw, please. She was wonderful! And we got Bronze Yon, very cool. Arya, so close! They tease us so bad with the Stark children meeting up Jaime and Tyrion with the beatles And a mule kick to the chest kills the cousin?

I´ll say what I just said in chat because I´m pissed to write something else.
I hate the moment I saw this show for the first time and then read the fucking books, because now I had to see that horrible scene. I hate everything. Oberyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyn

I am so delighted by the turn of events this episode. I love that I'm so wrong so often about this show and about what's coming next. Once the initial shock wore off, I had a good laugh at my awful predictions. Yet another character dies because his need for revenge overpowers his common sense. I was just getting to like Oberyn too. What a shame. And what a way to go. It's funny how we've come full circle. This time in season 1, I was sure someone would swoop in and save Ned from having his head lopped off. And now we're in the same situation again. I feel naive for even considering that someone might find a way to save Tyrion.
Arya had me giggling. And Sansa had me in actual suspense. Well done. As for Jorah, I guess he's no longer Lord of the Friendzone. I can't help but think that Tywin could have gotten more mileage out of blackmailing Jorah than getting him killed or exiled. It seems presumptuous to expect that the loss of Jorah would be a major setback for Danaerys. Obviously, it is a big loss, but I don't think Tywin or Varys would know that.
Jaime's reactions during the duel were so good. It's interesting that the Tyrells weren't shown, except for Papa Tyrell, especially after they had such a prominent place at the trial. I guess it might have been too much to show their reaction as events unfolded as well, but a glimpse of them would have been appropriate.
Now I hope Cersei has to marry Loras. She deserves it. How about next episode? She'd make such a lovely bride.
Sansa has finally learned to play the game. I was disappointed, but it's a smart choice on her part. LF will protect her at all costs and gives her some sense of certainty and stability. I love her casually sewing...she's so good. Rapidly becoming a favorite character.
OK so the Sansa/Baelish sewing scene where Sansa says "I know what you want." What is she implying?
I think she's starting to play him or at least put up a very good game against Petyr. She knows about the power he wants because he told him so himself. But she is aware about what he wants from her too. It is not only her saying that either!!!! It is how Petyr looks and watches her like a hawk. It seems like LF's aware she's getting smarter by the scene. I really need to watch those scenes again.

Apart from the wall, the east and mote scenes this was another great episode , loving Dark Sansa are we calling her now?
and I have a teeny crush on Petyr, which says a lot for the actor as I hate him in everything else he's been in !
Masie is hilarious and the final scene was outstanding ! But what the hell was the bug scene ? Did I miss something there? That was the perfect opportunity for the actual conversation they should of had ... grrrr.
I'm still reeling over the viper's splattered head.....and I want to cunt punch Cersie's smug freaking face (great acting again I suppose
I am shaking. I would cry but I' too fucking shocked, I can't process anything.
I didn't give two rotten potatoes for Oberyn in the books but this episode completely destroyed me, I feel like smashing things. Damn, I shouldn't say smashing GAAAAAAAAAWD WHYYYYY.
Ok, I'll write the quick version because I can't.
Grey Worm and Missandei - one of the best scenes in this entire show. Amazing everything. So much tenderness in that writing, and the acting was...whoa. Grey Worm is one of the best actors on this show. I can't even express how much I love what they're doing with these two, not because I want them to get together but because it's such a breath of fresh air in this cynical show. It's also meaningful that it happens in the throne room of all places, where a few scenes later Jorah doesn't know how to ask forgiveness and that bitch is not listening anyway.
Can't concentrate on the other scenes, but loved Sansa and Edd finally getting some lines and Tyrion's beetle monologue ad WHYYYYYY oh GOD WHYYYY.
Thank you D&D, for making it short though. I'm a wreck.
Probably my favorite Alex Graves episode so far. Which is telling, since I don't like his shots or how he directs his actors, but something worked very well in this episode.
And next episode we get Neil Marshall, yussssssss. Such a treat.
Loved everythying in this episode, evurrrrrrryyyyyything. The only thing that could have made it absolutely perfect was Hot Pie giving a monologue about boeuf bourguignon.
My problem is I simply can't separate the books from the show.
Opening with the Whore burping was horrendous. I expect D & D to be more mature and classy than that. I didn't didn't find beetle speech particularly great writing, it felt very long winded to me, Dinklage elevated it and made more interesting than it should of been.
I don't know why one would be "infuriated" by anything.
In my 36 years I have seen countless works botched by sloppy translation but GOT is not one of them.

It's definitely a departure, but you can't expect a faithful adaptation with only 70 hours.
I expected deviations and changes, however I don't feel like D & D have the made the right decisions in a lot of the arcs. Besides I honestly didn't expect them to change much of the ASOS stuff, thought they'd at least hold off until AFFC.
The whole Ramsay, Reek, Theon, Yara, Bolton story is all over the place. I give credit to Alfie Allen for keeping me engaged, he's been incredible these last couple seasons despite the departures/speed up pace.

Well I guess you guys are more lenient towards D & D than I am. Most of the changes and deviations have been really sloppy, the show is starting to feel like fan fiction to me.
- they only have 10 hours
- they operate on a Tv budget
- the source material is extremely expansive and scattered
Some changes are very smart, for example in season 2 making Shae Sansa's handmaiden and making Bronn captain of the city watch are wonderful examples of streamlining.
Apart from that, it doesn't mean that I like all changes, but I feel that most has been done well IMHO.
I am only wondering what will happen next season when the weakest and most bloated books are to be adapted.
