Season one had the finale name Fire & Blood - final scene was Dany and the Dragons rising from the ashes.
Second season had finale name Valar Morghulis - final scene was an army of undead marching towards the lands of man.
Thrid was Mysha - we had Dany surfing the crowd.
So if this season has The Children, I'm guessing Bran and COTF related scene.
You preparing for the internet rage after Stoneheart's no-show? I am
Yep. Gonna be pretty impressive. It's irritating that no matter how great the rest of the episode is, people will be furious because an absolutely terrible twist isn't included. I'll be celebrating though.

I'm with Cosca there. Can't be wights. In previews I think we saw that Bran is reaching to get to the cave, probably that's one before last scene.
I think it could be the Children's cave. Showing them all. And then probably the image of Bloodraven turned tree (?).
I do wonder what is that scene that Benioff & Weiss said they waited so long to film. I really hope is Sannis coming to the Wall. I mean that should by rights be an amazing sight. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Anyway, the COTF will kick wight ass before the end of the episode, so I don't see how they can be the final shot. Is it possible that this will be the first season without an epic crowd shot? Maybe Bloodraven in the cave? Maybe a Stark montage to fit the name of the episode? LS would be a great final shot but it's looking entirely unlikely at least for season 4.
Final scene was Arya on the ship to Braavos. No children involved, at least not COTF! But Arya IS a Stark child.. so maybe some message there. Wonderfully shot scene when it pans out.

I take it that was just Hermoine shooting fireballs from her hand
Al! They'd have been LUCKY for Leaf to be Hermione! She's know how to Avada Kedavra those skeletons with no cheesy fireballs. (or something similar for the undead)
No, I was just referring to the very last scene of the season ;)
