Not many characters die in AFFC and ADWD (there are more fake deaths than real deaths), but the show has so far killed a lot of characters before their time. So, who's death is coming up?
My guess: maybe Jorah, Trystane(=Quentyn), Ramsay and Theon (if the battle of Winterfell is in), Shitmouth, Meryn Trant as Cersei's fuck buddy, Maester Aemon, Myrcella(?)
I can deff. see Pycelle dying, his uselessness is pretty much been telegraphed all season.
Dunno if Aemon will die as I think him leaving with Sam will end the season.
I also think Meera is toast, maybe she will become the paste that will feed Bran!
I doubt we will see any big battles next season, and I think Jon's arc will end when he is stabbed by his fellow brothers, before he heads out to Winterfell.
Who is shitmouth?

Lovely title! I don't think Aemon leaving with Sam will end the season, I think it will be in the beginning, maybe right after Jon gets elected Lord Commander (I'm guessing first two episodes ? I see the stabbing in the S5 finale.) Can't really think of an ending for Sam's arc next season, but Maester Aemon is a sure death. Jorah lives, Quentyn gets roasted (not sure if they'll merge him with Trystane, who da hell was Trystane anyway?), I'm guessing Myrcella as well. Pycelle, of course. Balon, as we expected. I wonder if they'll bring Kevan back. If not, my wild guess is Mace Tyrell. Theon, Ramsay, Mance and Stannis are hard to predict, depends where the story ends in S5. If we're to trust Ramsay, then both Mance and Stannis are goners, but I'm just gonna go with Roose for now. If they're building Ramsay up, they don't need daddy anymore. Robin Arryn will be out of the picture as well. Other wild guess is Barristan dying sometime during in the battle of Meereen, if and when they'll be doing it. Of, almost forgot Black Walder and Limpy Frey.

Oooh, what if Lady Stoneheart kills Roose? Hehehe

Not to be harsh but wouldn't it be wise to give Aemon his death scene next season? I mean Pater Vaughn is in his 90's now.
Fine with Pycelle going. D & D failed to turn the character into the shell he is in the books after Tyrion threw him in the dungeon. All they've done is turn him into a lecherous old trample bag for Cersei to walk over. Plus Qyburn is far more interesting character.
Meryn Trant needs to go already, fed up of seeing that frog faced plonker strut about. In a perfect world Randyll Tarly will be introduced next season and slices him in half with Heartsbane.
None of the major characters should be touched by D & D. I don't want them ruining future book moments with their haphazard writing skills.
Guys, come on. You don't beat with the ugly stick the character you plan to kill half-way through the story, you don't leave her cheeckless and you don't telegraph her death in...what is it now? TWO books already? I mean, not if you have at least some grasp on your narrative. Oh wait...
I thought that Brienne dying next season would be a ballsy move to be honest. Literally her storyline is cut drastically:
- no Stoneheart and Jaime reunion because LS is cut, so no resolutions for that arc.
- no cleaning up the Riverlands of the Bloody Mummers, several of which were on Arya's list,
- no travels to find Sansa and no Randyll Tarly and Maidenpool.
Those might be boring to some but the narrative from her AFfC made perfect sense to me.
Anyway, I read this article in EW where Benioff and Weiss said that they do have for next season a kill of a character that will zap the life out of the series. And that's dead. I took that to mean "stays dead". Jon could be the one but I suspect he doesn't stay that way. Brienne could totally fit the bill if they decide to write a complete show storyline for her. I think that would be quite bold of them, that's all. I would no5 like it, but then I hated Ned, Oberyn or Quentyn's deaths.
Well, i don't see what use Brienne is next season, but D&D know more about it then us since The Mountain that Doesn't Write told them in broad strokes what the end will be like, so maybe they know what should happen with her.
I still don't see how they'll work with Stanni's March on Winterfell, and the coup d'etat on the Night's Watch, too many forgettable characters there, and they already cut a bunch of them.

They must mean Jon Snow. Brienne won't zap the life out the series.
Brienne dieing to save Jaime is so tragic and poetic, I refuse to part with the concept unless you give me Brienne surviving and being happy hahaha... , or surviving in order to play some part in the final showdown (which i doubt but...) I'd be completely bummed if they kill her in any other way. I want to know the result of that encounter more than anything else in the next book. I thought the show would at least give me that answer, damn it!

Also lost are Benjen and Rickon. Bran will be a tree. Only the little ladies remain. I think I'm going to be turning into a Stark supporter soon.... Can I believe it ?! No!

Sansa is not little, she's already towering over Baelish
Maybe they'll kill Jon Snow for good! (I'm so glad Lady Lyanna doesn't see me typing this! )
I don't want Kit out just when I was starting to like his acting, and I don't think Grrm built him up for nothing BUT if the show would decide to kill him for good (we know Grrm already gave hints he won't stay dead) I would be in awe. I hate resurrections.
I went through this phase. When all seems lost and looks like the show is going completely off book canon rails! I'm sooo over that. I believe they'll get us LS, Arianne, some Greyjoys etc.. Major storylines will be there. Some minor ones too. Don't you give up on me and the books!
Also, Jon is coming back after being thoroughly stabbed. #ItIsKnown.
@Al:
Kit has improved a bunch, Emilia is just fine (given weaker material of course, nothing she'll do will top that scene from season 3 or the drama of season 1).

I guess Emilia's true test will come when she has to carry Terminator: Genesis by herself. Lets see how she does without any Dothraki or Valyrian speeches to fall back on.
Well since Sansa's story is now going into the realms of the unknown, why not? It would be an interesting twist if Sansa strengthened her own position if she felt she had no use for Littlefinger. He looks pretty teflon but if Sansa sold him out...it's a question of how much use he is while she has him by the gonads

I doubt he really knows about that. He was referring to the theory, so the wording almost seems like confirmation.
That said, it's pretty obviously true. I didn't pick up on it, but the details are there.
Fucking GRRM. He really shit the bed. Maybe he'll be a zombie too? I tell once he became popular and Paris started giving him an annual Blow J he's really gone downhill.

Um, yeah. Same reaction here, Macha. Not sure what they smoked but it can't be good. I mean how on earth would you even built a theory like that. There's very little on Ashara and even less on Quaithe of the Shadow! Out of all the crackpot theories...
