February full trailer. They still have the shitty Three-Eye-Raven clips to pass the time for a month. I cannot believe what a crappy campaign THAT is. I received 2 twitter messages that I got the sight. Right. And I could not see any of them anyway. Pissed about it.

LITTTLLLLEEEEEEEEFFFFFIIIIIIINNNNNNGGGGEEEEEEERRRRR! He's such a manipulator Hope Sansa has the good sense to not trust him. I mean make an alliance and keep a dagger at hand just in case.

The pit scene looks amazing. I don't know how Jorah gets there. I wonder where will they stash Varys for the season since he looks to be there only at the beginning. Where IS Stannis I wonder. And the Boltons and Theon. No info about them at all. That's one mysterious storyline they keep.

Don, I have to say you might be on to something there. Because for all that I stopped the Daznak Pit's frame and squinted until my eyes hurt when the Dang crew is surrounded, I could not see foot of Hizdar! So it may very well be that the locusts are replaced plotwise, and quickly dealt with. I must say that Jorah fighting before this scene with one that looks Unsullied only to see him afterwards defend Daenerys 'back... Well. It warm my heart a bit. The backstabbing Bear has an endearing quality.

And now that you've put it up, I am looking again and not seeing Ser Gradpa. I count three close to her: Daario, Jorah and Missandei. Where the hell is GW and Ser Gradpa? Because those two are present when Dany goes down the steps in the same dress a few frames earlier to what I assume is her wedding and afterwards Daznak's Pit.

Also where Hizdar and Tyrion are missing. These two were on the Daznak Pit's dais sitting with Dany when watching Jorah fight. 

I can see Hizdar and Tryion being arrested by GW and Barristan for betraying Dany (somehow) and removing him to his chambers, which explains why all four (the Imp, Hizdar, GW and Grandpa) are missing above, but that won't explain how Dany and the rest are down in the Pit then, would it?

It will be a big ep this one. I bet.

The trailer was alright but it hasn't stymied my worries about this season at all. I lost a lot of faith in D & D with their shenanigans in Season 4.

Everything I've heard about next season suggests to me that D & D are sprinting for the finish line. Dropping Arianne Martell makes no sense at all.

Perhaps it's a blessing in disguise that Victarion and Euron won't be used, I mean they've already completely ruined Asha Greyjoy cry

Oh and the shot of the statue falling down the stairs reeked of Hollywood blockbuster.

With "The Winds Of Winter" not coming out this year, that means when the TV show gears back into production in the fall they do so with no published books to base them on.

Season 6 will be all new stuff, I am excited, cuz at least D&D are timely and hard working, I dunno what the fuck GRRM is doing. grrm

I do think two things: D&D will at least have access to unpublished manuscripts for season 6.
And two, I think the IMAX screenings are a test to see if a theatrical film of GOT will work, if the box office does well they might make the show's finale into a film instead....just my two cents.

Don, I would be behind the idea of finishing it with a movie, you know! Especially with the quality I have seen in the IMAX this Friday. I know Japie said in chat that it would bring out all the faults because the production for those two eps was not made for the big screen, but honestly with all my misgivings about certain scenes that looked bad on the TV screen (which were the same ones that looked bad on the big screen) The Watchers on the Wall and The Children were quite good seen at the cinema.

FYI: Some of those skeletons were a bit meatier than I remember to be honest teehee

Don't worry Al, I think D&D suck as much as you think and that their writing really (really) leaves a lot to be desired. But I will have fun seeing the story being finished by them because GRRM dropped the ball and hasn't done any quality writing himself in the last 15 years. And I'm in it for the tits.

Hmm, late to the party. But I re-watched the trailer and it looks pretty good. Not sure about the central theme of the season, it didn't come out as strong as the others, but I'll wait and see. No Doran and Stannis tho, whyyy?

Might be weird, but the thing I'm most curious about this season might just be Sansa and Littlefinger.
