I was looking at Jungle Book and realized how well all these old Disney movies stand half a century later! In fact all animation movies seem to retain their originality. Here are my faves:
1. Snow White
1. Beauty and the Beast
1. Toy Story 3
1. Jungle Book
1. Tangled
And so it goes
And they are doing a remake of Jungle Book. Idris Elba is Shere Khan's voice http://www.empireonline.com/News/story.asp?nid=40375

Tangled is surprisingly good. Other modern favorites of mine include Cars, Ratatouille and Brave. I am a big fan of cartoons in general. I can still watch and enjoy older ones like The Great Mouse Detective and The Rescuers. Let's see, Star Blazers kicked Voltron's ass in terms of morning/afternoon cartoons, Heavy Metal is still awesome and Ralph Bakshi is one of my favorite artists of any kind.
No, I do not watch anime.

I am a fan of old style animation. The Secret of Nimh, The Last Unicorn, The Hobbit, Snow White, Beauty and the Beast. Pretty much all of Alan Menken's Disney stuff.
I actually bought the deluxe DVD of the old Dungeons & Dragons cartoon years back. Love that shit.

Miss Bianca is the best!!! I got The Rescuers and The Rescuers Down Under on VHS. That and Star Wars IV, V, VI. Those won't EVER be given away or sold. I have never seen the Secret of Nimh or Iron Giant. Those go on my list to see.
this is very very hard for me because I adore animation. I can´t make lists in order, I´ll just throw in some names, the first two are
- The triplets of Belleville
- Me neighbor Totoro and pretty much most of the Ghibli movies: Porco Rosso, Princess Mononoke, How´s moving castle, blah blha
- Kirikou
- Ernest & Celestine
- James and the giant peach
- The tableau
- The adventures of Prince Achmed
- Toy story
- Persepolis
- Mary and Max
and moar moar moar that I´m just too old to remember or some I don`t remember the titles. Vietnam and Czechoslovakia have great animations.

I see many liked Toy Story. There's something weird happening with that movie. I liked the third so much more. That has to be a first. I think the Spanish Buzz was what made the difference. Also the boy being all grown up and giving his toys away :( I have never sobbed quite so loud in a movie theater like when Andy and his mom have their moment with Woody in the box watching them.
I watched "Inside Out" this evening. Can't recommend it enough. It's like watching Toy Story 3 tears levels of napkins used and instead of toys you have human emotions. The mind console for the adults part was hilarious
I've watched Pan this weekend. I don't know what happened with kid's movies lately. I don't feel the spark. It could have been interesting because Hook and Pan BFFs?! are you kidding me?! Magical. but somehow it didn't work. However, Hugh Jackman's entrance on Nirvana's "Smells like teen spirit" was genius though. And Hook having a crush on Tiger Lily too
3. Beauty and the Beast (would have loved to have seen Jackman as Gaston on Broadway, unf!)
4. 101 Dalmations (the owner playing the piano all the time)
5. Aladdin (the parrot, "ohhhh that hurts!" and Robin Williams )

Rhaegar, despite wounding Robert, was struck down with a massive blow from Robert's warhammer, which scattered the rubies encrusted in Rhaegar's armor under the water. Rhaegar died with Lyanna Stark's name on his lips.
Watched Zootopia and it was pretty funny. Story was good and morally inspiring for kids. Follow your dreams and all that. Many shout outs to grown up movies too. Godfather was predominant I really enjoyed those parts. "Made me an offer I couldn't refuse", Connie's wedding and others. The rabbit and the fox story I rooted for them and I even cried at the little fox trying to fit in the boyscouts and being bullied and cast out just because he's a predator. I recommend it.
