Ok listened to feedback, reopened the "S6 book to screen" thread. But lets keep most conversations here and ONLY use the other thread if we directly compare book materials.

As for Jon, I don't think it happens this episode, although I don't have any real reason for thinking that...it's just the feeling I get. Fortunately, it's cold up at the Wall, so his body shouldn't decompose too quickly.
I can't wait to see whatever it is Bran will see this episode!!!
Beyond that, given the bit we saw on the "next episode on GoT" thingy, I can't wait to see Sansa's reaction to the news Brienne gives her!!!

I really need to stop saying, "how stupid can you be?" Some people are starting to take it as a personal challenge.
I think there'll be a slaughter of Night's Watchmen at Castle Black this episode. To the point where there won't be a Night's Watch anymore, just a handful of Jon loyalists and a bunch of Wildlings. The vows will mean shit, because the whole structure falls apart. Then Jon gets rezzed up in ep 3 or 4 if Castle Black skips episode 3.
From a writing standpoint it would make sense to bench Jon this season. Bran, Ironborn etc will need screentime this season, so letting him chill (heh) somewhere will build anticipation and give other stories room to breathe. But we shall see.

I got: holy crap his name is Wylis! And where did Tyrion learn dragon taming bedtime stories?! now we know what Quentyn did wrong... For the rest I'm going to have to watch the ep again.
So much good stuff, where to start?
I love the flashback scene, seeing Lyanna on her horse was wonderful...and talking Hodor! I was like Bran "lets stay a little longer". But clearly they want us wanting more.
Holy crap I laughed my ass off when Wun-wun smacked that guy to the wall like a rag doll. Short and sweet...but who will lead the Nights watch now?
Ser Robert Strong pwning trolls, man, everyone seems scared of him. Tommen asking for help from Cersei, oooh, boy this will not end well for the poor fellow.
I TOTALLY CALLED IT, Tyrion is gonna train and ride the dragons! They seemed very receptive to him, I do wonder if something in Tyrions blood makes him have a connection with them...hmmmm.
I had a feeling Roose would bite it this season, but I never expected it so quickly, I love the pace at which the show is speeding things up. Unlike the books who keeps overone around for no goddamn reason. Very nice touch that it seemed like he was stabbed the same way he stabbed Robb. I wonder how Lord Walder will deal with the death of Walda.
Theon has come such a long way, I remember hating his guts in season 2, but I feel he has atoned for his sins.
I had a chuckle seeing Balon on that rickety bridge in the middle of a storm....and no guards in sight! Man, guards suck in the seven kingdoms, they never save or help anyone!
The final scene was so well done, from Melly and Davos to the ritual...so nice that ghost knew what was going on!

My fav episode in a long, long time. Way to go, D&D.

Do not recall this writer previously. This episode was as good as last years episode 2 or 3. The one when Brienne confesses to Pod about Renly. Let us hope the quality stays like this unlike last year. So nice to be spoiled. Davos & Mel was probably my favorite scene. So good!!!! Well that and the doggie treats. ;)

Jon being rezzed was about as predicted, but I think that was the right move. This was what was setup, throwing a curveball for the sake of unpredictability would have been lame as shit. And hell, the series has earned this. Melisandre had me legitimately emotional this ep., and I've hated her guts for a long time. Hats off to Carice on that one.
Appropriate that Thorne's rebellion was undone so quickly. It would have been a bit much for all the Night's Watchmen to be ride or die behind Thorne so quickly, and we got that great moment of Wun Wun and the crossbowman. And Edd being heroic too!
Stuff in King's Landing was solid. I thought the Jaime and the High Sparrow together in particular was fantastic, nice to see some bounce back in Jaime's step. Also, the High Sparrow seems more and more fatalistic. I wonder what he's planning...
I thought Roose's death was fitting, but I can't help but feel disappointed that he's dead already. Ramsay's camp is gonna be rather thin this season, unless they introduce a buncha new characters soon. I did think that this was the best Ramsay has been. He's practically shaking, even when he kills Walda and her babe there's none of the glee he used to have.
And hey, no Dorne! And despite some cheesiness ("I am the first storm" etc), The Iron Islands are already much more promising then Dorne.

Still not "I am of the Night", Cosca! Sorry but your boys have to work harder for that I thought they were going for crazy guy profile, what with Balon saying he went berserk and the Ironborn having to tie Euron to the mast during the storm story. So now he's the Drown God and First Storm. All nutjobs seem to go grandiose in speeches... Liked the Iron Islands.
This episode was great.
I'm glad they got away with the Jon thing quickly, and a bit disappointed the NW mutineers survived Wun Wun.
Bran's return was great. I just don't like how they randomly made him reappear after a year off (should have at least been in the premiere instead). Like the new COTF look, but the Raven is just lazy. They didn't even give him season 4 Raven's wig, it's as if it's a different character.
Dragons are AMAZING and huge. Great scene. Looks like the crypt humbled them a bit. The Sansa/Theon scene was nice, and everything KL was really well-acted. Ramsay's slaughterhouse was hard to watch, but was a long time coming.
Euron was just great. I loved his "I'm the Drowned God quote, straight from the books. I am the storm, not so much. In any case, I'm looking forward to more Euron.
I wonder how Lord Walder will deal with the death of Walda.
I expect his main priority will be getting the bride price/dowry/whatever it's called back, he had more kids than he knew what to do with and didn't really give much of a shit about anyone except himself.
It could potentially set up a Frey betrayal of Ramsay but eff that, they all need to get served.
Based on last night's mention, looks like Lord Manderley might show up... hopefully bringing his cooks.
I was confused about Theon running back to Pyke. Then I realized he heard about a hot chick at Castle Black resurrecting dead pricks. I hope nobody fed his to the fish.
Don! No way I thought , like Sid that's Ned and Benjen fighting. I thought Ry just made a mistake to be honest saying Jory. Besides Ly says the big one overseeing them that looked like Robb was Brandon Stark. Omg what a mess!
Atreyu is AGAIN off topic! Why is no one banning his ass it's beyond me! This is not the book thread. The book writer has no place in THIS thread. I like to point things out so it can be more organized.
