Well, I would imagine Dany is done messing around now! She mentions Torrhen Stark, my fav part yippie

The Queen of Thorns gets the last laugh, and Jaime realizes that his brother is truly innocent. Loved Sansa giving Bran a hug, danced around during that.  However, she finds out he's not the same, either.  Isaac said the reunion would be "bittersweet", so, I'm getting that.  If Jon could just get as much obsidian as he wanted, I think he would have agreed to bend the knee but not sure of that.  The North wouldn't support that, methinks, unless she showed up with the dragons to fight the walkers.  I still think the Dornish army is going to show up somehow, someway.  Wish Sam had given Jorah his father's sword, but he would probably rather have Jon's.  Now, copy these manuscripts teehee

My remarks....
* Jon and Dany, nothing unexpected, nothing to get thrilled about. Figured that would play out that way.
* Bran's return to Winterfell. I had tears in my eye when he and Sansa were reunited. I really love smart, able, capable Sansa by the way.
* I was happy to finally see Casterly Rock and Highgarden. I don't imagine we'll ever see either of them in the credits though. Shame about Grey Worm though.
* Two words: Jorah Deadpool.
* Olenna Tyrell snatching victory out of the jaws of defeat. Jaime finally knows for certain Tyrion had nothing to do with his son's death. There still is that thing about Tywin though... But the look on Jaime's face. Will he tell Cersei? I kind of doubt it.

I don't even know what to make of the blathering Bran said or how much use he's going to be to anyone... but I guess we'll see.

Bran is going to be very important methinks. However, he needs to get better and not just another "interpreter of the flames" so to speak. He clearly only saw Sansa's wedding ceremony, not the aftermath. His effectiveness will be when he is able to see events as they actually happened, for what they really are or were, like when he saw Howland stab Art Dayne.

I loved how Jaime referenced his defeat by Robb and then using the same tactic to put a dookie in Tyrion's masterplan. Think this is the 1st time that I remember one of Tyrions plans failing. Oh Lady O, how correct you were. It is all building up to where Dany will need to Aegon the shit out of Kings Landing haha.

Definitely Tyrion's 2nd plan failing. Trial by combat #2 didn't work out either. But neither one was something that depended entirely on him, so he did kind of took a chance in both. This one though is a pretty big fail. I did wonder though how come no one mentioned to Dany that there's no gold at CR. Which I assumed it was a big reason why they wanted it. I mean Olenna definitely knew. Varys and Tyrion not really since Tywin was pretty tight lipped and secretive beyond their reach.

My bad. I missed that Bran said he was sorry what happened to Sansa so I guess he does know all. He just has no common sense anymore. Lol. He just reports what he sees.

I loved the opening scene, Dany and Jon did not have a cute meeting. I thought Emelia did a good job having the dragon simmering under the surface and made a small woman seem intimidating. And they both had great points and counterpoints...and titles, titles and Jon Snow!

Whatever you think of Dorne and the Sandsnakes, the two actresses did a great job showing anguish and terror in the dungeon with Cersei. In a way I side with the queen, Myrcella was innocent and her death was cruel, her issuing the same fate to Tyene was fitting....though making Ellaria watch as her daughter rots away was a decidedly Cersei touch.

I liked that Tyrion got to do Tyrion, however all his seeming cleverness did not avoid the tragedies that befell Dany's allies. Granted a large invasion of Westeros is different than the defense of a single city like Kings Landing. But Dany will not be pleased by the lack of progress, and she might take things in her own hands.

What I liked less was legendary locations like Casterly Rock and Highgarden being shown falling in a short sequence ( tho Grey Worm kicked some ass), but I have a feeling we wont see them again.

The MVP of the ep was Lady Olena issuing cutting remarks an had to rub it in, and would not have left this earth without a final salvo and what a great one that was.

However, I have no idea what the show is doing with Jaime, I thought Cersei nuking the Sept would be the tipping point and he would be done with her, but here he is a loyal puppy. I am not a pook wanker, but at least in the books Jaime grew a pair and cut ties, I hope the show corrects this soon.

Yeah his mind is not in the present, he is very detached, seeing the past and the present constantly I doubt emotion rules much in him anymore. I wonder what the show will do with him, will he still be a character or just an info machine?

I hope making Tyrion and the others failed (which was weird) is not only in service to Khaleesi. "You all idiots failed now I will have to be mean and give a damn for every innocent kid in KL and rain dragon fire on them all". So she won´t be crazy mean but forced to do it because she surrounded by idiots. I´d hate to see clever and good characters ruined just to advance the story. But you know, don´t have a lot of faith.

I did like Olenna and Jaime dialogue at the end. Nice evil touch. Pity about Jaime yes, he looks like an idiot since last season.

About Bran being creepy: I felt so bad. I think it is a coping mechanism. Who knows how many things he's seen since Hold the Door. And that right there, the knowledge of using Willas so, probably didn't help at all. He hasn't even dealt once with that. Not mentioned it. It's all probably going to be in the books internalized. Bonus of being in a character's mind!

I thought Cersei did a nice job with her revenge on Ellaria. I was half-expecting something physically horrible or gruesome, but she came up with a punishment that showed a lot of thought. It would be the worst thing Cersei herself could experience. It's like a thoughtful gift from an old friend. And the acting was superb.

Fabulous endings for characters all around. The only thing that surprised me was that Jaime had the restraint to walk away instead of running Olenna through.

He ran to get the antidote so he can forcw it down her and bring her back to Cersei. Oh no wait, that Jaime would have balls. This Jaime does not.
