Where is that name from though? They still didn’t put it up at their own website. I know there was some rumors that it might be or someone at HBO made an oopsie and said it but it’s not official yet! It sounds horrible because that really means The Long Night is here which also means in my mind that WF is lost indeed. I still had a hope 🎉 in another news Cosca Lord Royce has Lady Forlorn. He’s an ass if with a Valyrian Sword he’s chances of survival are NOT bigger than say Gillys. You’re always wrong obvi. 🤗

Sorry, Lady Forlorn is from the NON CANON novelisations.

where the fuck were the dragons for the last 20 mins of the ep? That was unnecessary, could've just added some background zombie burning for continuity sake if budget was an issue.

I'd rather have Jorah die fighting along side the others than dying for his creepy crush.

Of course it was an amazing ep, and go Lady Mormont giant slayer!

WHERE THE FUCK IS GHOST?

www.wired.com/story/game-of-thrones-winterfell-battle-tactical-analysis/ <-- This is hilarious, and mostly on point.

Dolan! "Perhaps painting alternating white and black stripes on the wings—as the Allies did before D-Day in WWII—would have mitigated this confusion." I can't with this guy! "While unconventional, Arya's attack falls into the clear confines of the allies’ overall objective, and she should be commended for taking the individual initiative to carry out the final plan. Had the coalition of the living actually followed the fundamentals of engagement area development, they might have had a fighting chance"

Just wanted to point out as well that Lord Royce is alive and well. Cause you know he had a Valyrian sword! I think Tyrion foreshadowed as well the ones in that room were going to survive. Quick nod to my man Tyrion, who btw still has a chance to patch things up with his wife. WHO IS ALSO NOT DEAD: Ghost.

Mel is like that lighter you have in your pocketbook that hasnt worked in the longest time but you keep trying and remove a layer of skin on your thumb trying to get a spark.

Jon's protracted and unnecessary scene with the undead dragon was a perfect opportunity to, you know, faking show him fighting alongside Ghost for a change.

They are keeping Ghost around...the series finale should be just Jon giving Ghost belly scratches!

It seems so weird that they’ll keep Ghost around, doesn’t it though? It’s not like they particularly cared about direwolves and they are extremely difficult to CGI, more difficult than dragons apparently. So I think they let him live for a purpose since that charge with the Dothraki would have been a perfect scene to get rid of him. Almost everyone who charged died. Anyway I am thrilled we may get to see a Jon/ Ghost scene. Maybe even a Ghost/ Rhaegal one!

The more I think about it the more I'm convinced that GRRM is going to pull a similar anti climactic end to the Walkers in the theoretical never to be released book. Problem is that the fans are tired of subversion at this stage (also the fans are much much less forgiving of everything the show does but that's another matter)

I think what impressed me so much about the previous episodes that Sapochnik directed, is that the big sequences are meticulous. You really get a sense of how each piece was broken down like clockwork, there's an incredible and astonishing flow. Here he tried to do the same thing on an incredibly big scale over a runtime about 3 times the length of any previous sequence he attempted, and that's why there's a sloppiness in terms of construction at times when it comes to pacing and continuity. Individual scenes are still astonishing of course, the whole thing is basically an enormous glorious mess. I think I may appreciate it more with time (still havent rewatched it)
