Rhaegar, despite wounding Robert, was struck down with a massive blow from Robert's warhammer, which scattered the rubies encrusted in Rhaegar's armor under the water. Rhaegar died with Lyanna Stark's name on his lips.
Unless he bathes in the companies bathwater? Haha...who knows...so many armies converging. Georgie seems to using the flux to deal with Meereen, so a greyscale plague might thin the herd.

HAHA I fell for it! Completely true Japie.
Still since I've read it, I might contribute with my own 2 cents:
Sansa is the weak link in the warg department IMO as described by GRRM not sure what fanfic-ers would say though. She won't warg but if she did Littlefinger would be my first choice! Robert Arryn bedamned If one has the ability then one should choose the troublemaker/kingmaker/chaosmaker. Much more fun that way. Some of his savvy might actually rub off on her.
Jon Connington will unleash the grey scale if you ask me, but not intentionally. On the Wall too, Val's reaction to Sheriean's disease makes me think it will be of a major importance. Maybe it will be a plague from the South meets the plague from the North with the Riverlands, KL stuck in the middle. Only White Walkers left to roam the earth. To think a plague and not the Great Other might end the Westerosi! Wouldn't that be the biggest irony? There goes another crackpot theory. Haven't met the quota for today, apparently.
I thought Val saw grey scale as death and that Shireen was slowly dying even though others thought she was just deformed and out of any real life threatening danger. Thats how I read it.

And Shireen will wind up on the Iron Throne with Tyrion as her Hand because he's immune to grayscale. And everyone else is dead. I don't know who she marries. Probably Rickon. If he's not gone completely cannibal.

Rygar! we shall have words on this. This is what Val says. I got the quote:
"The maesters may believe what they wish. Ask a woods witch if you would know the truth. The grey death sleeps, only to wake again. The child is not clean!"
She specifically says that it sleeps only to wake again. What have you to say for yourself?!

That rocked! I was soooo happy when he said that! See, Martin? Just that wee bit of news is enough to make a book reader dislike you a bit less

that probably means that Lame Lothar is going to somehow find Jeyne Westerling and stab her (surprisingly) pregnant belly because GRRM can't come up with any original shit any more.

This thread is sleeping. Like the book Surprising twist reveal for character(s) that doesn't show up in the show, says Martin in a new interview. I'm thinking fAegon reveal will be different than what he previously thought of writing.

Where was this? Some interview I didn't bother reading because ?

And this is the part that mentions the twist reveal:
"In one intriguing new wrinkle, Martin says he just came up with a big, revealing twist on a long-time character that he never previously considered. “This is going to drive your readers crazy,” he teases, “but I love it. I’m still weighing whether to go that direction or not. It’s a great twist. It’s easy to do things that are shocking or unexpected, but they have to grow out of characters. They have to grow out of situations. Otherwise, it’s just being shocking for being shocking. But this is something that seems very organic and natural, and I could see how it would happen. And with the various three, four characters involved… it all makes sense. But it’s nothing I’ve ever thought of before. And it’s nothing they can do in the show, because the show has already—on this particular character—made a couple decisions that will preclude it, where in my case I have not made those decisions.”
Reading the paragraph again I realize that the character might still be in the show.
It will be really fucked up if the twist he talked about has anything to do with R+L=J
I mean, specially after watching an interview D&D where they said Gurm's way of vetting them was asking them who Jon Snow's mother is.
At this point in time it'll be really hard to change that without messing up.
But on the other hand i kinda sorta want him to change just to watch the sycophant meltdown
