LORD MANDERLY my favorite ADWD character. Favorite ADWD scenes. Favorite signature from westeros.org: freylor morghulis: All Freys Must Die.

Wow. Love it. Freylor Morghulis. Precious.

Where would one be able to get said shirt? Cause I'd wear it proudly. *sighs* the lack of GOT themed clothes in SA is a tragedy

On that note who hates it when FIn Jones says Tirrels? Its Tyrell damnit! Can't he listen to how every other actor pronounced it.

I like the idea of Brienne being commander of Kings/Queens guard. I hope he doesn't kill her off ....

Ok my friend over on HBO  (chat) has this to say of the iron throne , I know he wont mind me quoting him and I tend to agree ... 1. Tommen and he will die
2. Myrcella will be crowned in Dorne, and she will d ie
3. Stannis will capture the throne and
4. fAegon will lay a claim
5. Daenerys will expose Stannis' deception (sword)
6. Daenerys will expose fAegon as illegitmate
7. Daenerys will learn that Jon is the rightful heir

A Targaryen will end up on the throne. I am not certain if Daenerys will embrace or flail Jon. It certainly seems (filling the air with fragrance) that she is setup to find something very attractive about him. I cannot picture a romance between the two of them, at this stage, but perhaps Daenerys changes . . .
Thoughts ?

Dany defeats w.walkers with dragon fire. Jon, who is the rightfull heir bends the knee to Dany instead. Jon is made warden of the north, lives in Winterfell. And they all live happily ever after.

I also like the idea of Aegon ruling the Seven Kingdoms, but GRRM has dashed too many of my dreams to say that is who will win in the end.

That is and has always been my absolute dream outcome: NO THRONE.

ETA: That's why I said that about Sam. Because I've always cringed at the thought of someone being the ruler of Westeros at the end of the series. The only person who didn't make me cringe so much when I imagined him sitting on the Iron throne, was Sam. He actually made me smile. :)

I would quite like to have Stannis on the throne as well. Unless Dany or Aegon can oust him by right of conquest, he is by all laws the rightful ruler of Westeros.

I don't have a qualm with Finn's pronounciation of Tyrell. I know personally a big Irish family whose members pronounce their last name in 3 different ways. So it happens. *shurgs*

Back on topic, please not Aegon in the throne. And not a Dany-Jon marriage. Please GRRRM. I'm begging you. *falls on her knees*

I was thinking, you know who'd make an awesome king? Samwell Tarly. Not that this has a chance in 7 hells of happening. But the mere thought of a king like Sam makes me happy. I'd vote for him.

Ok I've been avoiding this thread for a time because I couldn't settle on anyone. And then I realized...there will be no effin Iron Throne in the end! blackwater GRRM will probably go for independent kingdoms or a council or something. The TV-show version of the HoTU, with the destroyed Throne room, spelled that out loud for me.

If this proves to be wrong, and Westeros will *have* a king by the end, I'm willing to bet - like I said before - that it must be someone that features in the first two books, before GRRM extended the story. And that completely rules out Aegon, not that he didn't have a big "DEAD" sign planted on his forehead the minute he walked in. One could argue that GRRM already had Varys and Illyrio's plan in mind even as he was writing his first two books, and yes, Dany's prophecy/vision seems to mention Aegon, but it also sort of implies that 1. he's a fake. and 2. that she'll probably deal with him. So I can never see Aegon as a real pretender for the throne. Connington might involuntarily play an important part though, because....you know..greyscale...grey plague...rock falls, everybody dies. zombify

So it's less of an iron throne and more of an iron presidency instead.

If Dany makes and Jon Connington doesn't start a grey plague in Westeros killing all, including Aegon the Unknown.

Jaime. He says something to the effect of: "Yo, thanks for keeping this warm bitches". Then he whips out Ned's skull and craps on it.

So we are going all fan-fictioney?

Jon dies but gets revived by Melissandre, freeing him from the knights watch oath. He then takes the Wildlings to Winterfell and reinforces Stannis' battle. They breach the castle and it becomes Snow Vs Snow as Jon guts the Bastard of Bolton. Stannis rewards Jon by legitimizing him. His victory Rouses the Noth as they have a new King in The North. Phew, that was tiring! And just one character! This is hard work!

Yes, we ARE going all fan-fictioney to be sure! A woman also thought that Melissandre may have a role in saving Jon Snow, because she really has the "hots" for him (pun intended) and secretly thinks JS might REALLY be Assor Asshat or whatever. Jon Stark as King In the North would also be cool (pun also intended). Does he get a queen in your story?

A different woman saw all that plus what DonalNoyesArm said in the fires this morning. It was when she was making early breakfast. Tormund's Woman says she also saw that Lord Snow decided he had to pay his life debt to Lady Malisandre and make a married woman out of her, because that is the Stark way. She said "yes, Lord Snow" and they ruled the world together. Plus they had no need of dragons! Maybe that last part is overdoing it. Dany needs to participate, after all this saving the world is not a one man/ couple job type of thing.

But unless we all miss our guesses Lord Snow is a bit dead. Curious if Melisandre can really give him the kiss of life. Always wanted to know if Thoros was the only one of R'hllor's priests who can do that or not.

What is interesting is that in the Tv show Mellisandre was blown away when Thoros told her that he revived Lord Beric. Not all Priests of R'lhors order have the same powers. It might be different in the book, but we shall see.

HA! Mr. Storm, unless TV!Moqorro can bring shadowbabies into this world I shall stick to Melisandre. Maybe he can harvest Victarion's shadow but unless he has grown a vagina, that will be an impossible task. Can one say vagina in this forum?

And I agree with Don. I don't think she ever did it before or even think she can do the kiss of life. But she'll try I bet. What is more, if her meeting Thoros to get Gendry was specifically designed for the TV series so she can learn about this new power, then more power to the show!
