I meant like with the death of Ned, where it was spelled out that he was dead, but you were still left wondering. It be clear he was stabbed and that he was dying. But yeah. Oe don't forget Cat raking her cheeks with her nails. THat image as UnCat is quite scary!

IMO the episode will end with Roose saying "Jaime Lannister sends his regards." Then fade to black, you are left wondering if Roose did in fact kill Robb. Then episode 10 opens with Robb's head on Greywind's body.
My personal bet is on Catelyn for the last shot. This is Michelle Fairley we're talking about, we should be able to see her reaction to Roose stabbing Robb, it'll be nothing short of spectacular because she's such a fantastic actress. And with this being such a punch for the audience (even more so than Ned's death), they should have Catelyn's character raging and crying - possibly slashing Jinglebell's throat - because that will function as a device to channel the audience's feelings. In this case, I don't think the audience should wonder if Robb is truly dead, quite the contrary - they should make it clear as day. He'll have a few arrows in him before Roose stabs him anyway, if I remember correctly.
I agree, I imagine the final shot is Michelle's blood and tear streaked face as she stares at her boy in horror....oh God that episode is gonna kill me!

Don, you're adorable, you're so late to the party. I don't remember how it was in the books, but separating the musicians from the rest was a really good idea. Robb's positioning seems a bit weird though, what is he doing, giving a speech? There is another surprise concerning the RW that showed up in a trailer, but with your embargo I'm not sure you've seen it...
Macha, remember I have been on a full embargo. I have not been only any GOT related sites for almost a week. I found this myself, I am pretty sure others already found this. :)

I think the reason the show has Lord Bolton receive all the ravens, is because I am certain that when scheming will begin with the Lannisters and the Freys, he will be the one receiving the ravens with the arrangements.

Judging by this interview, it seems that, by the end of the season, the group that climbs the Wall with Jon finally returns to Mance without him. Which means they might have cut the first attack on the Wall, if I'm reading this correctly.
Spoiler
"If you prove false, it won't be hard for me to kill you," and then little smartie Snow gets on with it, doesn't he? Things to be found out. And then after that, he leaves him to go on to the Wall and Mance isn't in it for the rest of the series, except for a shot with them coming back without Jon Snow."
It would make sense, since it doesn't appear that Tormund's group will be as massive as Styr's was in the books. But then, why send them in the first place?
my book fact memory is muddled but i dont see how that'd work??

I also wonder if they still will do the "baby switcheroo" Gilly has her baby in the Tv show, but there is no Dalla in the Tv show. Will they remove that whole plotpoint? It might be, but what will then by the reason to send Sam AND Gilly to the citadel?

Yeah, with the trouble that Iceland poses for filming, I think they'll simply postpone her appearance, and by her I mean Val. I'm not sure we'll ever get Dalla, not more than a featured extra anyway. My guess is we'll get a brief scene of Mance's baby being born when they reach Castle Black in S4, before Stannis's attack (or was it during the battle? I think it was). Mance could just mention her in a scene and then walk into a tent pretty much anytime, and there she is with a big belly.
I think Grenn and Edd will simply limp back to Castle black on their own, around the same time Jon gets there. They will re-group and do some battlin'.
