In previous seasons, TWD has been hit and miss with the slower episodes but last night's was a good one. Maybe one of my favorites. Probably because it lacked a lot of the standard belly-gazing dialogue. I wonder if this is the "funny" episode the creators told viewers was coming up this season.

I think this is the first episode of this kind for TWD. I also like Richonne finally happened. It's been building this direction for a long while - ever since she and Carl started to bond a season or two back. I think they did a good job with it. However, HOWEVER, what now, Richonne? When main characters get hooked up it can go sideways story-wise. Chandler/Monica was good for Friends. Ross/Rachel was obnoxious. I'll tell who did a good job with it: Bones. When Bones and Booth hooked up, it was almost just another day at the office even though it was a huge thing. I liked how casually they handled it and I hope TWD handles it in a similar way.
But I fear because in the zombie apocalypse, we can't have nice things. RIP Michonne. You were one of my favorites.

Many of us were too busy waiting for him to die to even notice if he was hot. I still don´t know if he is but I guess he was in that scene. Was a nice simple scene.

Pro-tip: next time someone passes around the ultrasound of their unborn child, don't take it and look wistfully upon it.
This. They're already neatly setting up the death of Glenn, Michonne and Abraham. Daryl could easily be an out-of-nowhere kill as well, and he's pretty much the safest character aside from Rick and Carl so it makes sense to do him off.
Question is, do they all die in one big, bloody episode, or are they going to be spread throughout the whole Negan arc? I think Abraham is the one most likely to die ASAP of the bunch

This show has never been that brave in killing the main cast, and if they do, it usually happens in the finale or pre-finale. With 5 more episodes to go, I doubt it will happen right away. I know of some comic book spoilers what might happen, but the show has never been that slavish to that continuity.
In any case, the group is feeling over-confident, and they will get knocked down a few pegs before this season is over, that's for sure.

Abraham is fo-sho a goner this season along with at least one of the big names (Michonne, Daryl, Glenn) and I'm willing to bet on that. The rest can wait for next season, but if both of them survive this overhyped Negan deal I'll be surprised.

Pretty sure they are going to kill somebody next week. Probably Glenn - they've been almost killing him for a long time. I won't necessarily miss him now. He's all grown up and mature and stuff so a lot less fun, but that's character progression for you: if he didn't grow it wouldn't make sense. And now it's time to die, pizza boy.
Last night's episode started out poopy like TWD is wont to do. Although Carol at Sam's grave was nice. Knocking out the Saviors at the satellite place (Direct TV? Comcast?) probably would have been much harder had Negan been there. I assume he's someplace else and this location isn't their only base. Maggie and Carol did the stupid movie thing and got caught, I'm thinking Carol is gonna die. Like Glenn, I don't think there's much else they can do with her.
Daryl gets his cool motorcycle back! Maybe.

Liked the episode. It make Rick and co seem no better than the Negan dude.
I don't want Carol to die in a whimper, and she hasn't done much this season, so I hope they don't kill her off. But if they do, make it badass and memorable.

This show sometimes flubs the way characters exit the show. Remember how badass Tyreese was, taking out a whole herd with only a hammer? And then in his final episode he dies like a complete sucker bested by a single zombie.

So far, the Saviors sure are easy to kill. That won't continue. This episode didn't end in a cliffhanger, so there are no immediate plot threads to resolve. Next episode likely introduces new stuff.

The highlight of the episode really was someone's penis being bitten. Well, Carol did leave the group (again), which will probably set up an introspective (read: boring) episode where Morgan goes to fetch her. And Abraham got a girlfriend upgrade.
In the last episode, Daryl got his motorcycle back. Now he is reunited with his signature crossbow.
Eye did not see that coming.

Was bored for most of it, and what was the damn point for Chubby girl to come along if they were gonna bring all the meds anyways. Sure the death was jarring, but pointless.

In the early TWD, zombies were seen picking stuff up and using it. Like the zombie girl with the doll and the zombies in Atlanta using rocks to break through the storefront window.

Bad episode. I don't mind the spinning wheels stuff so much: surviving the post-apocalypse is going to be a grind. But why have them captured by Dwight? AGAIN! In the very next episode? Consolidate the two Dwight episodes and let the story flow a bit. And I wouldn't be surprised if they parachute in the wayward Carol a la Terminus to save somebody from the Saviors.
They didn't fake kill Daryl. Dwight shot him in the shoulder and said "You'll be all right" as the screen went to black.
The show needs Jesus back in the worst way at this point.

The final 5 minutes were the most intense I have seen on here, and almost made up for the boring shit we had to deal with leading up to it all season.
I had no real problem with them not showing who died, but at least it is clear a person *was* killed and not a fake out. Now lets see if the show had the guts to kill someone important....
