whoa nelly, that was a completely random attack and with no script/story purposes at all, (or too little to care), but I loved every minute of it. So dirty, delicious mess.
Carol´s lasagna at the end? genius
I´m a terrible poster, didn´t read your comments before because I was in a hurry and also because I thought maybe you didn´t like the episode. Just now I see you all liked and I´m not the only one that found the lasagna scene so good and funny.
BUT FORGOT!
what about the turtle sammich-bag! disgustingly awesomeness

I'm pretty happy with this episode. In fact I've generally liked this season so far, which I haven't been able to say about this show in ages.
I thought that having only black people survive from Michonne and Glenn's group was a cute nod to the critics of the racial trends on the show. I liked the uncertainty that this episode left us with for the first time in a very long time. They haven't had the balls to kill off one of the original characters in a very long time. I liked the touchy feely-ness of the Alexandrians giving way to grim reality, and the steep price that entire group paid for ignoring the reality for too long. And Rick just cracks me up. Please die, Rick.
If the main character who appears to have been lunch indeed survives, I'll be disappointed. Not because I dislike him, but because any scenario to allow his unmunched survival of that situation would be completely lame.
I needed to rewatch the Rick zombie scene too. So...does zombie goo in a deep wound equal a bite? Please? Just this once?
Really good momentum this season 3 episodes in and going strong and any dramatic stuff is used to move the story forward, very well done.
Dunno what happens to Glenn his situation is very grimm, but it did seem the body of dipshit fell on him and maybe the zombies ate him instead, but it would be very far fetched if he survived.
What do you guys think?

Easy! Looking at the screenshots, it's pretty clear that Nick is the one being eaten. Glenn scurries under the dumpster, scoots the dumpster over to the fence (the one without a gazillion zombies on the other side) and escapes. If it does go down something like this, it doesn't seem like that much of a cheat EXCEPT that they ended the episode on that cliffhanger and played some melancholy music. Hell, we've seen plenty of miraculous escapes in the show, what's one more? I think they erred in overselling Glenn's possible death.
ETA: neatly parallels Rick's first Atlanta visit when he got stuck in the tank. Glenn even called Rick a dumbass again.

Yeah, okay. It's possible. Incredibly stupid, but possible. I'm still hoping for dead. He's one of the few level-headed and kind characters on the show. He definitely needs the boot.
Hmm after rewatching the episode I dunno if the "Nick fell on Glenn" theory holds water, the footage certainly doesn't show anyone on top of him. He is simply laying on the floor by himself and the next shot zombies tear into him. IF next week they do show him surviving, that is some clumbsy cliffhanger shit, that doesn't add up.

Don, look at the two pictures you posted again. In the one on the left, Glenn is wearing a bluish t-shirt. On the right, the zombies have their hands on a khaki-colored article of clothing -- similar to the jacket Nick was wearing. If that is Glenn's body the zombies are about to eat, that piece should match Glenn's shirt. Also, note Glenn's chin in the right picture. The bottom of his chin is partially blocked by the khaki clothing. Unless Glenn has a massive chest or magically became hugely fat, we should be able to see his entire chin.

Those two are not random frames, they were back to back, so how does Glenn go from unprotected to protected in a microsecond? If they are gonna go for "Nick's body saves Glenn" angle, nothing is there continuity wise to show for it.
I am not saying it is impossible, I am saying if they go that way, it will be a big cheat.

Magnets! Hell, I dunno. Maybe in the first screenshot Nick's body is just out of frame and the second shot is taking at a very low angle. If Glenn is still alive, they handled the scene poorly. They intended ambiguity and, apparently, we are going to have to wait a few weeks to find out for sure.
Shame on them.

I'm damn sure Nick did NOT fell on Glenn. That bluish is only an angle light misleading. Shadow and whatnot. Glenn is totally wearing the khaki T-shirt and probably is a bit dirty too. I'm voting for Glenn buying the farm. Total zombie dish. And Basi hopes he's deader than a nail. So I'd take that as a sure thing
Nice try, boysenberry. Here is Glenn falling with Nick:
Spoiler
(spoilered because I think it's a HUGE picture)
It's not conclusive. That's the thing, nothing is conclusive about this scene. However, HOWEVER, everyone who watches the show knows that when the zombies start pulling your guts out, blood always gushes from the victim's mouth. There is a noted lack of gushing Glenn.
I have only watched the entire scene once. When did Glenn unbutton his top shirt? Right before they hop up on the Dumpster, his shirt is buttoned and he is shooting zombies. When they get on the Dumpster, it is unbuttoned. Why is this important? Because it supports a number of fanwankers who believe the whole scene is Nick hallucinating after he goes blank before shooting himself.

Oh please no. No hallucinations, dreams, fantasies or other bs to explain away a horrific "death, not-death" wimp out. If you're going to take that route, you need to flash to reality immediately or you lose all legitimacy.
Atreyu, I am a complete TWD Unsullied and you withheld evidence! How is one supposed to make an opinion if you don't post full pics of the scene. I had to spoil myself at Variety and see what this Nick fell on Glenn is all about. variety.com/2015/tv/opinion/the-walking-dead-glenn-dies-603-recap-thank-you-1201626173/ After careful examination it is very possible that the guts are Nick's. cause the eating is too close to his face. They rip the body open and pull perpendicularly first which make it unlikely it's Glenn's entrails. Thank goodness Nick shot himself and that I finished my healthy snack. However, Glenn is totally toast (Basi, you are in luck ) If that is a cliffhanger I see him going nowhere. I am fully hoping no flashback. I must read all of your comments next week!
Pro-Tip: capitalize "Dumpster". It's been a few years since I cracked open an AP Style book and I forgot. Telling y'all this because it's going to come up a lot in about two weeks.

The thing that was going through my mind while watching was actually "if Glenn dies, why is there no one else witnessing this scene?" How will the other ever find out? Unless we assume he won't be completely eaten and somehow, someone manages to recognize him as a walker later on, which seems unlikely, drama-wise.
So I think it's entirely plausible they're misleading the audience, however, it'll most likely be cheap. Come on. Are we supposed to believe they will only eat Nick and won't take a bite out of Glenn's legs, hands, or face? He's not covered in zombie guts, he's covered in fresh blood, so how is that going to stop the zombies from smelling him?
Bit of a long-shot.
But I *am* waiting for Rick to cut out his own hand.

There's no hiding, Glenn! Undead people always get found It's kind of sad they can't keep the secret not even for 2 weeks. These days if one farts, you hear about it next day on twitter
Agreed, another good episode. I wonder who Morgan is going to get killed next. He seems to have a hard time learning a pretty simple fucking lesson.
This. Enough with the post-apocalyptic kumbaya already. There's no middle ground between killing everything and killing nothing for this moron. He needs a Ned Starkian lesson about the foolishness of living by ideology in an dangerous, ugly world. Unfortunately, someone else will pay the price for his idiocy.
Boring set up episode. Kept waiting for something interesting to happen. They really could've just added a couple of scenes to jazz it up and make it good. Maybe a little interaction between Carol and Morgan about the dude he has locked away. Wouldn't have taken much, a couple of minutes of that transforms the episode.
Some say the blood on the interior wall at the end was zombie goo leaking through. Not me. That's coming from the top of the wall. It's Glenn coming over. Well, that's a story line that probably won't be resolved for two more weeks. Or longer.
Keep hope alive.

This episode was OK. The Abraham/Sasha bit was dull. I guess they wanted to show us that Sasha was over her PTSD and maybe Abraham is on his way to some kind of recovery. When Abraham was standing on the overpass by the rocket zombie and they showed his face backlighted by the sky, I was certain he was about to die.
I don't quite understand Dixon's story arc. Those people were trying to run away from their group, but then changed their minds at the end and wanted to go back? Maybe now that they had Dixon's crossbow and motorcycle and their diabetic resource drain gain got munched, they can repay whomever it is that they owe?
And we had the new Big Bad introduced. If they write lines for you and they don't show your face, you are the next major player.
Next week's episode should be action packed. Even though the last two have been mostly "meh", I think they've at least done a fair job of building up the anticipation for the herd show down.

Is obvious to me that Glenn is not dead, (don´t think anyone could endure that kind of pain without fainting), which doesn´t mean tht what they did is lame but they being very cheeky eh? already 2 (very boring and irrelevant) episodes without saying a word about it. I wonder how they will introduce the new baddy (I really can´t remember how they did it in the comic).

I need to find the person who wrote this episode and them. That dialogue, especially Abraham's, was painful. Enough setup. I'm ready for something to actually happen.
That was sooooo Glenn's voice on the walkie talkie... "Help"
Maybe! I thought it was Rick at first, but whoever was asking for help was doing so very quietly. Rick is the shouting type. I have forgotten who has walkie talkies. Maybe Spencer has one too? I dunno. It's most likely Glenn, then again, they might just want us to think it's Glenn.
We should find out this Sunday.

Oh no! A safe zone got overrun! What are the odds?
They are not overrun yet. But when Captain Janeway pulled out her Map of the Glorious Future of Alexandria it kind of sealed the deal because in The Walking Dead you can't have nice things. So we are going to have another jail break. Get it, Carl? A JAIL break, Carl! Just like when the prison got overrun, Carl.
However, there is a slim chance that this isn't the end of Alexandria yet. Maybe the beginning of the end. The minor character they seem to be saving for something is recovering from the gunshot wound, there's the Wolf in captivity, Ron hasn't shot at Carl yet, etc. I think there are too many small pieces still in motion inside Alexandria for a sudden bug out. Maybe the mid season finale has them holding off the zombies for a little bit while they gather their things for an escape or the people still outside the walls manage to buy them a little time.
Glenn lives. Called it.
It now appears that the voice on the walkie talkie was Rick, it just hasn't happened yet in Alexandria time. I see the people holed up in that big drain trying to be quiet while Rick calls for help.

Meh mid season finale, the whole plot with that stupid Wolf in the basement was the worst. The worst part was them having two guns on Wolfie while he held Nurse chubby, and they handed their guns over? They can headshot zombies from a mile away and suddenly those skills disappear? Shitty writing.

Yeah, that was terrible. A lot of the character interactions were, which is a common thread throughout the series so I am used to it. But The Walking Dead still hits the bullseye often. When Rick's group makes a break for the armory and the kid starts asking for his mom, my heart broke a little bit. Such dread.
Overall, I liked this one. It really could have been a humdinger had they made a few tweaks. Having the Wolf casually get his head blown off woulda been nice. Or if Captain Janeway had turned and eaten Judith. Not that I am pro baby-eating or anything and Deanna did make a decent exit ... on second thought ... then we would be subjected to the emotional devastation of Rick and Carl for the umpteenth time. Pass.
So the "help" call was from Eugene. I was wrong about the drainage pipe. I am guessing Daryl and his little crew are going to team up with Enid (totally a Wolf) and Glenn to get the Alexandrians out. Don't think they are going to be able to salvage the place. We'll see a bunch of redshirts get eaten in the escape; that dude in the infirmary for sure. Because black. Rosita is toast. Spencer is on the chopping block. So is Aaron's boyfriend. Carol is starting to get annoying, we already have one annoying main character (Rick) there's no need for two. If she doesn't get her shit together soon I'll be rooting for her to die.
It's going to be forever before we find out.

Just saw it, I liked the opening hehe, quite a good moment for Dayrl.
Spoiler
The two annoying boys are dead, good, but did they have to kill cute blondie? I am sad we will never see her in a French maid uniform on the show.
I dunno what to make of the final 15 minutes of the show,
Spoiler
did the small band of survivors single handedly kill ALL the goddamn zombies from the quarry using melee weapons? Even Eugene? EUGENE? Come on. If so, how can zombies ever be a threat again?
__________________

It's possible the show is moving away from zombies to humans as the main threat. Zombies are scary as hell, but unless they surprise/trap/swarm you, they don't have to be dangerous.
Final 15 minutes:
Spoiler
Well, they had a bunch of people swinging machetes and shit. Darryl burned up a bunch and Abraham and What'sherface showed up with some rifles. Is it plausible? Not really. But you stretch your credulity a little bit and keep what I said above in mind, it's workable.
It makes even more sense once you consider Rick flying into a rage because
Spoiler
he caught Jessie giving Carl an under-the-gore cloth handjob.
