Cary, I do the same thing on my tablet and my mobile. But what I really have trouble with on my mobile is that every time I try to click on a PM to read it, I get signed out. Over and over again until it finally lets me read it. I tried a different (non-Firefox) browser on my phone, and I had even worse problems.
So the fixes they applied to speed up the forum last week has optimized the forum for desktop browsers. They are currently working so mobile browsers have no issues either.
Ry they would like to know more info on your device, Make, OS, Browser and ISP, if ya don't mind.

So have I on 4 iOS browsers, and my cousins Blackberry bold. Regardless, if there is something behind the scenes that breaks access for one browser/device it might be a sign of a bigger problem, so we gotta keep on it.

today the forum's acting up a bit for me, it's given me several times the "500 internal server error screen". Just an fyi.

We had almost 800 people looking at our forum, a record! And that is what caused the issues. The front page chat will get turned on in a few hours, don't want anyone accidentally do something we regret in there.

Don, I'm having an intermittent issue where I can log on, but as soon as I click on anything, it brings up the page but I'm logged out. Over and over. And if I write something in chat, it just disappears. I've had this logout issue with PMs for a while from my mobile, but now it's happening on my laptop and desktop, regardless of browser. Obviously, everything's okay now, but I'm sure it will happen again. As for site traffic, the hope page said less than 10 people were here if we combine members and guests.

This again. Couldn't chat, post, PM or click on anything without getting logged out for well over an hour. I tried different browsers and changing from my laptop to my tablet. Other people were logged in while I was having the issue and didn't have any problems.
Not on my mobile, on my laptop and tablet. And yes, for over an hour, I could log in any time I wanted, but as soon as I tried to do anything, like click on "recent posts" or "home" or my messages or type in the chat and hit enter, it would log me out. Over and over and over. So I gave up, and then about 90 minutes after the issue started, I could log in again like normal.
The same thing that happened to BaS happened to me. For the past two hours I could not click on anything without being logged off. I had to power off, remove my battery, and then reboot and now it works.

Don, it happened again. I got locked out of my account for about an hour. I tried my laptop and my mobile with different browsers. I tried rebooting. No success. It's not a software issue. The forum just won't let me stay logged on. Is it possible that there's a quota for certain actions where it locks us out after a certain number of refreshes in a given time period or something like that? It just doesn't make sense.
With your permission, I'd like to create a second username, so that I can try getting on with that when Black as Snow is locked out.
I'd do either Simone or Snowblack. That way there wouldn't be much confusion. I'm hoping not to need it. But it would be interesting to see if I can get on with a different username when Black as Snow is locked out.
I was totally booted. No CHAT or posts allowed. Restarted. Tried different browsers. Etc. Here's the funny thing: when I switched to my tablet and typed in "wi" to bring up the site, the autocomplete didn't auto. It was gone. Gone from my history, too, but everything else was there. I've bookmarked this site on my regular PC, so I don't type in the address. Weird.

Yes Don, spreading. Last night I was chatting (sorry chickens I didn´t say good night) and the site kicked me in the butt, couldn´t chat or post or log out so now I found myself logged since yesterday. Using firefox btw, as always. I hate the other browsers. Chrome doesn´t work well in my lappy. Get´s really slow.

Got a reply! Seems they are migrating servers internally and might lead to intermittent login issues. I asked why I was not emailed about this, they have not replied to that question. It is odd because I get any technical site issues by email before.
Anyways, the login issues should clear up in a day or two, keep me posted if that is not the case.
