Wow, that's an unacceptable answer. At a minimum, they should be refunding some of our funds for supplying us with a forum that is not fully functional. I would so love to go full bitch on them. Forum hosting is an awfully competitive business for them to be so non-responsive to the needs of their customers.
So are you planning on migrating the site elsewhere? Because these folks are complete douchenozzles.
Seems the solution they said would implement did not have the desired result. I had not heard complaints for a week so I had assumed it had been fixed. Just let them know again it has not.

Yep. Did it to me again for about a hour. Both IE and Firefox. I would log in and as soon as i clicked to post, look at PMs, or view a thread i would be logged out

Same experience as Rygar. Black as Snow can't stay logged in or chat, but Snowblack is fine. Same browser, same computer. And the forum still shows Black as Snow as being logged in and online. So that's weird.

Hi cabana.guy,
Generally these types of issues are related to browser caches and cookies. Have your user tried clearing their cookies and caching history? This would be the first step. If that doesn't work, try resetting the password. If either of these two solutions does not remedy the problem, please provide me with an example account and I will look into it further.
Cheers,

So when you can't login. Clear your history and cache, next time it happens test this and lemme know if it works.

I'm shocked good ol' Steve-O didn't suggest turning the computer off and on again. Or making sure it's plugged in. Because, ya know, none of us have ever interwebbed before. Maybe the LAN ring fell into the ether cable or something.
I did try it, and it made no difference. And honestly, if it's a cache or cookies issue, why would one username work, but not the other? It makes no sense. Another thing is that it still shows that I'm "online" on my profile. I don't know if it does that for the entire time I can't get in, since I don't usually stick around to find out. And I don't know if that's relevant or not.
What's most frustrating is when you take time to write something and you go to post it, and instead of posting, it tells you to log in. What you just wrote is lost. And usually, you don't have another twenty minutes or whatever to rewrite it once it lets you log back in. So it has a negative effect on our content as well as being annoying on a more basic level.

I don't know if this is the case with everyone, but when I go back to the previous page (the back arrow, I mean) I still have the text I was trying to post, so if that happens again just try and see if you can copy it before you log in again, BaSi.

I actually tried this because sometimes it works, but it didn't in this case. I think when the site's just being glitchy and logs you out once, you can do that. If it's throwing you out is a serious way, you get the message that you need to log in when you hit the back button too.
But like I said, not a big deal. I just thought I'd bring it up, since this is the thread for it.
@Ry
Let's move the spoiler problem here. So you're saying you can't use the advanced editor at all?
If not, to spoiler tag text you need to type:
your text
(but without that last space before the last bracket. I put it there so you could see the code.)
