My sons were staring at the knights in full armour and I told them, "That's what a t.v. dinner feels like". biggrin

In case of Ser Loras, would he be a "fancy feast"?

Very good Ser.  I would say, prim and proper poser.

So what do you think, my Lords, Ladies, and assorted bastards. What flavor is Tyrell jam, Renly jam, Cersei jam, Stannis jam, etc.  Do you color coordinate it with their colors or base it on their personalities?

I'm pretty sure Cersei's jam is rhubarb without enough sugar. bleh

Sansa is strawberry.  THere's something sweet and innocent about strawberries.

The mother of dragons is mango jam.  She's sweet, exotic, and a bit of a pain in the ass to get ready to go.

Whatever flavor Bronn is, they didn't strain it well enough, cause he's seedy and full of surprises.

And Jaime is lemon curd.  He's just a bit tart, you can't miss him, and one taste and you're hooked!

Maybe this does belong on the geeks thread...

Tyrell's Jams and Preserves are made from white grapes or clear juice fruit. Think Arbor Gold

Martell's Jams and Preserves are made from dark blackberries or dark plums. Think dark red Dornish Wine

Cersei 's Preserves are from lemon rinds or quinces. Jaime is lemon pulp or limes.

I applaud your picks  for the others. Too bad Sansa favour Lemon cakes, bet they're very sweet with carmelised sugar.

Haaa! I actually meant:

Tyrell jam = Rose petal jam (as their sigil is a rose)
Renly jam = peach jam. This would take a bit longer to explain, Black as Snow. It's not really spoiler-ish, in short Renly eats a peach at the parlay with Stannis in the books and many book readers expected that particular bit to appear in the show as well.smile

Love the way Black as Snow thought of it though. What would Jon Jam be like? And yes, I went for Jon solely because it sounds funny. Jon Jam. Heh.

 Greyjoy jam = pickled squid.

@Cary I love squid! Good idea.

Has anyone here tried the dothraki blood pie? I admit, I changed the main ingredient, switched blood sausages with minced meat, but it came out great. Turns out it's more of a turkish recipe, for a dish called ciborek. Delicious and not that hard to make, I highly recommend it.

Yes I see now biggrin. I was being literal in the sensibility of the products featured for a feast. But yeah, The Tyrell roses

are reknown. I considered Renley for a peach too for all the known reasons. I invite Black as Snow to watch the

" House Baratheon , Black and Yellow " Parody on YouTube. It's a Baratheon Bros Rap with witty details. It

contains smoked ham references too. Please view it. Now there are 2 videos that he Warden has to quizz her on aww
