The Greyjoy theme is by far my favourite of the season, the way it was used in Theon's baptism scene sent shivers down my spine. I just loved that episode and Sakharov's direction.
My second favourite would be Warrior of Light, especially the second part (the one that plays at the beginning of Blackwater).
Been listening to the soundtrack these days on my way to work and goddamn it. His simple, rhythmic themes are especially great. Some great use of instruments in his more mellow tracks as well. Can't wait to see what he comes up with for S4.
Yeah his work is very elegant, I guess it has to have a certain simplicity, for he has to score 10 hours worth of music unlike most movies that only need 2.5 or 3 hours.

Music is subjective and comes down to an individuals personal taste of course.
When I listened to this compilation, and saw how he was slightly modifying themes and making alternate mixes based on scenes or characters. Even if his music is not to your taste, I am sure at least you can appreciate the work the man is doing.
