Yey! Hi ! The problem with that, is unCat is not very pleasent now .... she could end up at the wall and give him life as she had been given it ... maybe .... if she finds out somehow his true identity ... can she feel remorse ? or just revenge ...
Has he Warged into Ghost and will they put his body in the ice cells ...
oh beacuse michelle is so flawless as catelyn and i really love her motherly portrayal and jon is her husbands bastard, so i want to see her treat him a bit nicely. also i wish jon was the child lysa had aborted(?) or given up, that would make her LOVE jon. :'( poor jon.
also i wish jon was the child lysa had aborted(?) or given up
With Littlefinger as the father? Oh that would be so wrong, wrong, wrong. But hilarious!
Actually, come to think about it now, I don't Jon even thinks about his mother in his ADwD chapters. I think he finally let that go, because he came to think of the Night's Watch as his true family now. A dysfunctional, backstabbing family, but families are like that. I find it hard to believe that (Franken)Jon and FrankenCat will evere interract in the series, let alone mend old wounds.
I am totally in the dark when it comes to Lady Stoneheart, however. I seem to recall GRRM saying at one point that he's sorry for going there with Catelyn, so I expect he wants to wrap up that storyline as soon as possible. How she'll exit the stage is anyone's guess.
Yes normal backstabbing families don't literally do it, at least they cried. Holy Shit I had a dream I met GRRM last night (crazy I friggen know, don't even think he knows my country exists) I asked how far he had gotten with Winds, he just said he couldn't tell me that. Much ruder in my dreams than in real life.

I have a soft spot for the idea of unCat having something to do with the return of un?Jon, but it doesn't sound like something Martin would do. Mel is also suspiciously well positioned for that job. And this:

Just re read a Samwell chapter from Feast, page 649. Maester Aemon is dead, and Sam is thinking about some of his last words, Aemon says "The sphinx was the riddle , not the riddler". I have not read any theories on what this might mean, and you guys are such amazing oracles, I thought this was the place to ask. Anyone?
Ummmm, I completely forgot about that line. Good question! Interesting, here is what the wiki says about sphinxes: A sphinx is a mythical creature, made up of a bit of this, and a bit of that: a human face, the body of a lion, the wings of a hawk. We knew that, but check this out: The Valyrians had their own sphinxes, they are referred to a Valyrian sphinxes. A Valyrian sphinx is a mythical creature, with the body of an animal (most likely a dragon) and the head of a human. This, coupled with Aemon's words, could refer to Jon - perhaps Aemon figured out his true heritage? Didn't Aemon leave him a book when he left? I forgot what it was all about.
Thanks for that Macha. I didn`t know about the Valyrian sphinx. I think you have hit the nail on the head re, Jon. Must look back to see what the book Aemon left for Jon, was called. If it is known.
I have gone through the prologue looking for clues. I am sure they are there. The Sphinx is the riddle. What is his bloodlines again? Dorne and Summer Islander? Where's the riddle there...

something about sphinxes: in Greek myths they always have riddles for heroes: as in Jason and the Argonauts when they cross Colchis (Cólquide) I think. I don´t really know if it´s any help for you TF.

Any idea where the Sand Sphinx is mentioned in the books Yvs?
It has to be in the Pate prologue, or possibly in the chapter where Sam gets to the Citadel. Salleras is nicknamed the Sphynx, but how could Aemon possibly know her?
My final theory for this thread will be the final outcome will be created by The Three Albino's !
Bloodraven Ghost Wierwood tree ...
I Thank you and goodnight ! :D
Ha ha ha ha ha !I love myself !
I'm still taking bets for this season that Bloodraven is EVIL.
You Melisandre, you! I'd not bet against you though I think the chances of that happening are rather small. Bloodraven was never a good guy as described in Dunk & Egg novellas. But he certainly was not evil. Unless he got turned by the CotF, who are THE REAL EVIL maybe?
This thing I just typed is so out there, not even I believe it! Everyone knows that the CotF are good. How can Nature itself NOT be good?! Unless this is all a fake nature thing. Someone needs to stop me. I cannot seem to be able to do it on my own!
Just came across this really interesting essay on the probable upcoming deaths of Tommen (for vengeance) and Shireen (to "wake" Jon) in twow. I've always been convinced about the Tommen side of this, and I'm ok with it but... The Shireen part made so much sense, and it'd be such a Martin thing to do!, that coupled with the heavy forshadowing from the show's side... it's terrifying. My baby! Noooooooooooooooo!!!! Imma seriously have a red wedding moment if/when it happens.
bonus points: they used yvy's drawing of edric storm
