You’ll find everything you need in order to customize you account in “User Details”. From there you can edit your profile, keep track of your posts, subscriptions and topics started. You can also view and or write private messages to other members.
*One you’ve created your account, you'll find that you already have a default avatar. We hope you’ll enjoy that one as well.
How do I post images, emoticons, etc?
All the options you need are available in the “Advanced Editor”. From there you can post smileys, format your text, insert images (check the icon with a tree on it), embed videos (check the YouTube button), use quote tags etc.
How do I spoiler tag text?
Go to Advanced Editor, highlight your text and click on the little SPOIL speech bubble (see picture below).
How do I start a topic?
Anyone can start a topic. Before you do though, make sure to think on where it might fit better. Once you’ve found the section for it, just click on” Start a new topic” (it should be located right under “Recent Posts” on your screen).
How do I use the chat?
The chat is located at the bottom of the page. It’s intended to be a fun area, intended for light conversations. No spoilers or personal attacks are allowed in the chat, and we reserve the right to erase messages that don’t comply with these two basic rules.
What’s that pop-up bar at the bottom of the screen?
That bar provides easy access to the website’s features: menu, private messages, whiteboard messages, and information on how many users are currently online.
What are titles and how do I get a custom one?
Titles are a fun way of ranking your activity on this forum and your support of this community.
Your title automatically changes once you have reached a certain number of posts.

Custom titles are granted as prizes obtained for winning certain contests or making donations thus supporting hosting and upgrading the forum. Moderators can have custom titles as well.

I am of the impression that this thread is more Instructional. I was not sure about my emoticon question but posted it here because it's included in the Topic.
I like your idea tho, maybe mention it the private message. To me it speaks more of the Blog's Mission and Purpose. I considered that too , perhaps there is growing support to make it official :D
I want to attach an animated gif I have on my computer but the "Attach file" button in the advance editor does not seem to accept the animated format. Do you know why is that?

DNA said attachments have to be under a certain amount of megabytes to work. Can't remember how many though.
