Done So good to see Selmy. I hope they will not go on considering the ending. However, I love the series so, I do want it to go on somehow. The woman who plays Susan/Catelyn is wonderful. Love to love her, love to hate her. I started out watching this for Matthew Mac, but in the end, the American doctor won me over. No clue I would like him so much.

I watched episode 2 too and now I forgot everything about episode 1 because episode 2 is so emotional and fucking sad, had me half the time. While watching I thought "this must be written by a woman" so I checked and it was, also a man but you can tell there was a woman writing here she wrote, possibly, her perfect man (and Macfayen delivers!) and I bet she cried her eyes out while doing it. Can´t say much because most of you are still not watching for various reasons. So, as someone wrote an almost perfect character there´s a couple of scenes that are a bit off. He´s just too mighty. Not that I mind. He is a great actor and a great character.
Again, I`m amazed at the dialogues in this show. Can be seen as pretentious I guess but it doesn´t feel like it.
An how about Homer´s lullaby??? Btw, the song is called In the pines I think but there´s so many versions with different titles.

Wanted to say a few things but andi's got it covered, loving this season and Ep. 2 especially.
BUUUUUT... can Susan die already (for good)? Please, enough is enough, she is so completely beyond redemption. Every time I start to root just a wee bit for her, she goes and does something so incredibly stupid. Just leave the kid with Homer and exit the stage somehow, girl.
Rose and Bennet are heartbreaking together, as usual. And what a wonderful actor they found for Abel, loved his character but they seemed to have dumbed him down severely in the end.
Yessss Reid and Miss Goren, I've shipped it since the get go. go go GO.

God their suits suck. I never got used to see them. If it wasn't for the story and all the GoT actors I'd have given up on this one in the first season because of the men suits and terrible Susan.

But, I know. If you read the first posts about this show you will see we all felt the same as you. I remember we said something about it. And we all hated Long Susan with a passion!
Also, if you check the first posts you can find very funny lines about Jedediah we all love. I remember one from Macha´s : "He's a big glorious sweaty psychotic fox and I want to make love to his forehead."

I did read that a long while ago . But I was rewatching some season 3 episode this weekend and I had again the shock at how terrible the men's fashion seemed and had to say it.

Last week I've finished watching season 4 after re-watching all the rest. I got to "Edmund Reid did this". Eventually. I'm slower than Martin with this. And I feel like they're pulling my leg. I mean, seriously?! Out of the whole outfit they do this to Drake?! And it's all ultimately for that POS's deserved end from season 3, which mind you deserved like 5 deaths after he shredded the newspaper man to pieces with the Maxim gun. Why would by the way anyone clue in Rose to that! I still don't get how leaving that shit to die was suddenly "not right" for Rose... Ugh, I feel like Long Susan is to blame for all that mess. Somehow she's fine thank you.
Anyway, I was looking to see if season 5 eps popped up on Netflix or Amazon, and it looks like I have a bit more for them...
Caved in and went rogue because what Macha said. First ep was promising and I finally have some good vibes about Long Susan! I think she may redeem herself. The end of an era. Nothing made me cry so much as that last scene. It was such a fitting ending of the series. He never was going to leave those streets he roamed in search of justice. And in the end I think he was a younger version of Aberline. Turns out he couldn't let go of the ghost regardless of how much he wanted to. I loved the Blackfish's appearance this last season by the way. I with Susan and Cap and they broke my heart with Mimi's "cartwheels and sunshine speech".
