Hi all! While we will endeavor to have a moderator around as often as possible, please, please, please let any newcomers know to be non-reader friendly, especially when they arrive at chat. It's a small, simple matter, but it can make a difference in how welcoming we are.

I suspect it's a temporary problem, I can't read previous comments in chat and it seems you have to constantly refresh it to see latest posts. :donalwork:
well advanced editor doesn´t work for me either. Maybe maintenance.

I don't know if it helps, but there: I use Opera mobile on a Nokia device with Symbian. I can access everything on the website (full version) except posting in chat.
Maybe I should get a flash upgrade? Ugh, no idea how to do that on my mobile though.
What does everybody else that has problems with chat use?
EDIT: I tried it with another browser, it's the same. Definitely not browser or OS related, I'd say.

Okay, went and used an emulator. It seems it's definitely a javascript issue. I emulated IE 7 and it had the same behavior. Debugging it, it says "updater is not defined"

I went and did a browser emulation on some mobiles too. It seems it's the script, some part of the script is now unreadable to browsers below a certain level (including IE 7). The browser cannot define the variable "updater" so some part of that script is not able to be read in those browsers. Don, this should accompany any service request you have.

The email with all of Cary's tests were sent Friday, these clowns never answer emails on the weekend. But I will quote and post the response in here. I mean, Cary basically did their job for them.

That's completely unacceptable. Let's fire these assholes the moment the season is over, if not sooner. They're charging us entirely too much to be such douchenozzles.
Yesh, deff get the wheels rolling on server migration. It will be best and the odds are good if we get any more problems they will simply answer it this same way.

Let us know if we can help. I know just enough to be dangerous, but I would suggest that we take the plunge and do it right. If funding for a proper migration and setup is an issue, just say the word.

Hi Omar,
Which mobile browsers are your users having issues with? (browser type and version number) Certain mobile browsers don't support the full range of HTML tags, and therefore may have issues with the chat box.
I would recommend that your users use a more recent version of Internet Explorer than IE 7, as it lacks many features of the more recent Internet Explorer versions, and is no longer a browser we support. Let me know if it's not working in more recent IE versions (8, 9 or 10), and we will look into what's causing it.
Cheers,

So this Robert guy is more helpful...please give me all the info he asks for, so I can keep hammering on this.
