He looks like a human blowfish, not the way I remembered him from the book. But he was barely memorable in the book. Methinks he should be quite fun on the Tv show.

I think they'll play up his comedic value a lot. which isn't a bad thing. It'll be a different Mance, but I'm looking forward to see what they do with him. It's got potential, and it provides an interesting contrast to mighty Tywin. 

And now that Pod is leaving they need a new source of humour *cough*

OMG, the guy they have playing Mace is def. the Oaf of Highgarden.  Didn't even know what the Iron Throne was? freakout was filming a scene and didn't know Lannister characters were related? WTF?

Horrible choice. Mace might be a buffoon but he's not a complete retard.

If only they had given the role to Mark Gatiss
