Wow! Where to start? Water is a good thing! Got a bath and a Lord's Kiss ! Beric was awsome, Shereen is a doll, adore her. Ah, Stanis, father of the year, jeez. The King in the North rocked, the hand that passes the sentence, swings the sword, it is known. And Loris with Cersei, hehehehehehe, Tywin knows how to piss off everybody. Selmy and Jorah in a fight, trying to do it like gentlemen, wow. Dany, meh, like Missandi's new gown. But Gendry and Arya stole the show for me, having to part . Bravo

Anyone else think that the whole pickled fetuses affair is so that, come the time, Mel can find some "royal blod" to sacrifice in lieu of more bastards?

I know I know Oh oh oh... loved when Davos call Shireen Princess. God, that was sweet.

There is no Patchface. .... .... NO PATCHFACE. .... .... But there is Shireenface. Which makes it all better. You know I completely forgot about the greyscale until she looks up, then it just hit me. Oh, she's still blonde tho.
Edric. They're so cheeky with their book references this season, I love it! The pickled babies were a great touch, IMO. They've given her just the right amount of crazy, without making her a caricature. That whole scene added new layers to both Stannis & Selyse, Mel and Shireen. For a short scene, I'd say that was pretty impressive.
And Talisa is obviously not a Lannister spy, come on. She told him they could go back North. Ugh, that scene was a bit painful. So far, no big hints of doom, except for Karstark's curse. Curious to see how they're gonna write Roose Bolton. Good job so far.

omg omg THIS. I was rofling the whole scene, just couldn't stop! I had tears in my eyes by the end of it. So from now henceforth Grey Worm has been rebaptized "Toro cornudo".

I work with two non book readers who like the show. One thinks this season is boring and the other is enjoying it. I make myself privy to their recaps of ach episode.it is amazing how thy especulate. They both feel that Robb is doomed and that he will be killed at the Freys. They also think that both Cersei and Tyrion will poison Tywin. I hope that they are still shocked when shit goes down.

I have two non-book reader friends and they have a feeling something bad will happen. But I don't think they know how bad.
I watch this show mostly with the gf and while she has also read the books, she doesn't knit-pick, probably because she forgets the tiny details.
I liked the change of keeping Loras off the Kingsguard and marrying Cersei, tho I have a feeling either her or the Tyrells could still make him take the guard to avoid the Cersei match. In any case it made for a truly wonderful surprise, even for book readers like myself. I guess it played so well in the scene since Cersei was high of gloating on Tyrion, her dad smacked her down so well by marrying her off.

Actually, "Talisa-as-Lannister-spy-who-falls-in-love-and-fucks-everything-up" completely falls in line with this scene. She knows the trouble, she's trying to get him to safety where he can leave the war and still survive. She says absolutely nothing in response to his wanting to take Casterly Rock. Is that horror on her face?

You know, I was listening to the Young Turks's review of ep. 3 today and Cenk, one of the presenters, said something that I thought was really cool. He saw the title of the episode "And now his watch is ended" and instantly thought of Mormont. But then they had that funeral for the other unimportant character, which threw him off; he thought "whew, so that's what the title referred to, Mormont is good, he's off the hook." Then BANG. He was completely shocked even though at one point he expected it. They could do that with the RW, build up Robb just prior to the event to make it seem like everything is alright again and that he's back in business. Or not. But then no one expects Catelyn to die as well, so the shock element will still be there, I hope. But yes, they're hinting at it a bit too much.

Does anyone else feel that all this talk about how Robb is slowly losing the war (he even says so himself) is gonn amake the RW less dramatic? From what I remember in the books, Robb goes to the Freys having one every battle and he seems near invincible. Yes, he lost the Karstarks, but that didn't seem like a huge loss at the time of the RW. I remember being blown away by it. I have talked to a few non book readers and they all think something bad is gonna happen to Robb soon.

The vibe from my non-book readers is: "Yes! He is gonna steal Casterly Rock!" Tho they have a bad vibe about Lord Frey, but I doubt they think something as epically bad will happen like the RW. As book readers we notice the forshadowing, most of the Tv viewers has it going over their heads.
