UPDATE 7/9: The newest press release from HBO shows that Nikolaj Coster-Waldau will not be a part of the Thrones panel at SDCC, unfortunately.

Live feed over at ew.com for those of you interested and if someone can "cut and paste" it over here, that would be great! 2:50 p.m., don't know if that's Pacific or Eastern or what.

So sad to hear about Nic! Kit already appeared at two panels, the Brave young warriors one, and a surprise appearance at the How to Train Your Dragon 2 panel, since he's a voice in the film. Need to go look for videos. But I did see a funny clip where he talks about his one sex scene in GoT as humiliating, because he had to walk onto set naked on crutches and couldn't cover up, bwahaaaa!

Wow, Mags! Didn't feel the need for a body/stunt double to do those scenes, couldn't have been too embarassed!

LMAO, that In Memoriam video is made of snorts and tears.
And le panel.
I have to say, I'm not a fan of these big panels at all. If the moderator doesn't encourage the panelists to discuss among themselves, then it quicky becomes this snoozefest where everybody waits an eternity to be asked a question, and then it turns out the question is one of the most generic they could find. "How do you feel playing a powerful woman?" "How do you feel working on this amazing show?" "What was it like playing this intense moment?" "What is this mystery called acting and how do you do it?"
Hey I have a question too. 1. Where do they find these dreadful moderators? and 2. Since we're talking about only 3 or 4 questions from the audience, how come there isn't there any form of selection beforehand?
Because these panels get more and more uncomfortable to watch by the year.

That's disappointing I was looking forward to the panel. They should have gotten Rob McElhenney from Sunny to host, his Emmy special was a joy to watch.
I agree with Lady Macha. The first panel (2011) was best. This seemed uncomfortable. Thank the for Momoa giving a scene stealing appearance :wOOt:. Also did not care for the moderator with a wig for Dany to order from. I like Al's choice, he is much better when he does the panel. Glad there was King IN the North love . Kinda feel like, "I shaved for this?".

In other news, R. Madden's Nerd HQ panel just confirmed himself, Michelle and David Nutter for the Ep.9 DVD commentary, that ends with all of them crying their eyes out.
Lady Macha! Thank you soooo much for that Nerd deal with Richard! I enjoyed that immensely!

Is it just me and am I twisted, because Charles Dance looks so hot in the extra/deleted scene? WOW! He should go fishing more often.

Damn Al, that was fuckin' awesome. Loki rocks. And yeah the GOT panel needs a big dose of fun! The Mamoa cameo was the best thing that panel had and they need more things like that.

The Hannibal Nerd HQ panel was amazingly cool. *sigh* I do wish a smaller panel for GoT in the future, though it probably won't happen now with all the hype.
TitanCon, a Belfast SF&F convention with a heavy focus on Game of Thrones, is now only a month away. HmR and FaB were very happy to be there for its very first edition two years ago, and are even happier that we are returning to the scene this year! In case you have missed our reports, here is a useful link.
If you have the means to get to Belfast, then you by all means have to attend. While the grand convention day is Saturday, TitanCon is really a weekend experience with a literature night on Friday as a warm-up, and an equally important and awesome Sunday coach tour visiting the shooting locations and featuring all things medieval. Anyone who has attended the convention in the past can attest to the great atmosphere permeating the event, which is something I look forward to most. It includes everyhing from merrymaking in the late hours (and on the bus!), meeting our readers and fellow fans, to hanging out with the actors of your favourite show in a relaxed setting. Speaking of Game of Thrones cast, Ron Donachie (Rodrik Cassel), Laura Pradelska (Quaithe), Amrita Acharia (Irri), Miltos Yerolemou (Syrio Forel), and Aimee Richardson (Myrcella Baratheon) will be there. The guest line-up is far from complete, and more names will be announced in the next couple of weeks.

There's a small possibility Jason might be at Comic Con for a Bat vs. Supe or JLA panel. Warner Bros haven't scheduled anything but I'll be surprised if they don't do something for one of their future DC movies.

If he does go for Bat Vs Superman then I bet he'll pop in at the GoT panel. He seems like the type of person who'd do that
