Who are you calling shits?! And it's today! I suspect someone will upload the pannel later for peeps on youtube.
Yes, we'll get the panel tomorrow or maybe the day after but I think if they'll do a casting video like they did for season 3 they'll probably upload it directly to their YouTube after the panel ends.
So glad we got Siddig! That is wonderful news. Also, the Castle Hughes chick from Nativity Story will be great. So glad we will see the three "characters". The Hound stole it for me. He and Gwen are wonderful. I liked the Narrator, he was good. I also liked how so many fans tried to get either Martin or D&D to fess up about the books/HBO timing, the character who must not be named AND the Jaime/Tyrion scene that was left out. They did tell us more Stannis, o.k., but I don't see that as a spoiler. And what was up with the in Dave's hair? . Not my fav panel but was so glad to see it.

I'm half surprised GM didn't yell fuck you and flip everyone off.
And haven't seen Siddig anywhere. Hopefully all the fuss about him being the best actor ever will be half right and he does justice to Doran (after they cut Arianne, he better!).

That was weird for me. I get you don't want to talk about any book scenes/characters that were left out. AT ALL.
I get you don't want to talk about a dynamic change brought about by a former wife Tysha that did not fit in with the show time-wise and hence you cut any mention of her and you keep the Lannister brothers in a good relationship. But they've explained that one, their rationale for cutting it.
Yet, when it comes to LS though everything is taboo?! Something is not right.
Yep. I agree. LS might have a chance after all.
Why aren't they just saying it? They have had many opportunities to say she is cut. Do they plan on never ever telling us? Will people still be speculating about LS after season 5? Seems odd. They should have just said it in that EW interview. What do they gain by avoiding the question?

I don't think she is Taboo,
Spoiler
she is simply a spoiler that book readers have thrown out there. LS is key in Brienne's storyline, Brienne's storyline has a ways to go....so LS will come in when needed.
If not well, who cares really.

I think he's rather good but not really OMG good if you see what I mean. He wasn't so great as Bashir at the start of ST: Deep Space 9 but really grew into the role very well after a few seasons, and he's also been in the BBC's Merlin. He has Egytian heritage so does have the dusky "Salty Dornish" look like Pedro Pascal had so it won't be jarring in the characters looking inexplicably different.
Doran doesn't have a huge role in the books anyway ( yet? )

Hah! Martin won't be writing an episode for Season 5. There are those who believe he really wasn't putting a lot of effort into it and HBO did most of the heavy lifting.
I smell a schism.

I liked that question about whether the TV character changes makes a difference to the way he writes - well since he ain't actually writing the answer should be no!

Yep. It's a lousy excuse given all the cons he's been going to.
I think he just doesn't want to be forced to write ahead of himself.
George R.R. Martin reveals that he actually won’t be writing an episode at all for season 5, because, “I have this book that I have to finish!” He adds that he “figured [he]‘d better write the book rather than the episode.” Season 5 will be the first year to have no episode penned by the author.
He's finally realised it won't write itself

It's horseshit. He'll probably release some wikipedia novelette out of nowhere again soon. Either HBO stopped him, GRRM was too lazy, or he's doing it to try and placate his fans.

I know, right? Why don't D&D just grow a pair of and say she's out? Why make Michele do it? Cravens.

Did we always get a new cast vid? I thought it only happened last year. Also, quite excited to see the questions they'll ask Davos and Mel. Dolars for doughnuts some will have Jon Snow in them but I'm more interested in Davos' reaction to Shireen being burnt by Mel. I'm not sure she'll tell him or that he even finds out it was her doing. He might think Shireen was killed by the Boltons or died as a casualty in the battle aftermath.
OK not a con interview but it happened right after. Some adjectives about the next season here: www.makinggameofthrones.com/production-diary/2015-san-diego-comic-con-interviews Alfie Allen would have liked to do a certain Dorne scene I think even HE was seduced by the baddness of #BadPussy attitude and form that Tyene was showing
Would you believe they actually showed that on the evening news here? Funny, but I think some of the folks here could have come up with a wittier response.
The GAME OF THRONES panel in Hall H at 2:15 p.m. will be moderated by Rob McElhenney. Panelists include: executive producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, director Michael Sapochnik and cast members (in alphabetical order) John Bradley (Samwell Tarly), Liam Cunningham (Ser Davos Seaworth), Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei), Isaac Hemptstead Wright (Bran Stark), Conleth Hill (Varys), Faye Marsay (The Waif), Kristian Nairn (Hodor), Iwan Rheon (Ramsay Bolton) and Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark). Autograph signing is at 4:15 p.m.

Interesting panel. Watched it last week and was happy it kind of confirmed that Spochnick will be returning next season. I mean it looked like a done deal when he was asked and Weiss started to clap and nodded. I liked better Conan's Melisandre impersonation though
