Superman dies in this movie...fuck that...I hated when the comics did that just to revive him later. HARD PASS.
Yep, friends saw this and they absolutely hated it. I won't see it, but interested to read what the rest of you thought.

Well, my brother saw it. Said it's better than Gods of Egypt which is a bad thing if that is the first movie he chose to compare it too. However he's not that much into movie made from comics, so maybe he's just not seeing it right! He also said bad things about Iron Man 2 &3 so

I've heard the movie itself was pretty bad, mainly plot related. That the second half was basically CGI. But I've also heard that Baffleck was the best Batman people have seen and then Wonder Woman. Which are probably 2 very good reasons to go see it. Because I've waited 40 years for Wonder Woman to hit the big screen.

I would then watch this one on Netflix and then wait for the standalone BatFleck and WW movies, since those two were said to be the best thing of this film.

From what I heard, Affleck is the best Batman to date. Probably because of the CGI and the comic book presentation of the character. Bales Batman is different because Nolan made him real. He didnt take on 20-30 armed guys by himself like Batman does in the comics or video games.
So the comic nerds will gush over Affleck.

If Ben's that good of a Batman, then it's a good thing. I may have to eat my words I liked Bale myself, but I think that you are right Ry. It's much more Nolan's script than anything else that stood out for that Batguy.
Saw the movie, a friend treated a matinee.
Man, no movie has ever felt like it was made by a committee like this one, no passion for telling a story.
Just table setting gearing up for the Justice League films.
Battfleck was indeed the highlight of the film, and I am looking forward to his standalone movie.
Some said Wonder Woman was good...but honestly she only had two minutes of action...and no personality.
Blah...gimme Civil War...i need to cleanse my palate.

You can eat your words, TW! If anything was good in this one, it was the grizzled Ben Affleck. I didn't think it sucked completely but it's definitely lacking in story and script. In my opinion: too much slow-mo Shots. Too much quiet and dragged out meaningful silences scenes. I was surprised at Jeremy Irons doing Alfred. Liked him too! Not anything to write home about that's for sure. I cannot believe the security breach scene. I mean are Luther's servers completely unguarded?! I wish I had that face palm emoji Sid liked so much....
Alright, I'm eating my words here I broke down and saw this movie. I actually liked this Wonder Woman in the fight scenes. The rest of her, not so much. It's waiving and "I'm in the movie!!" Really rushed. The "mommy" drama did not do it for me. I don't like good guys fighting each other. Affleck was o.k. in this role, I like the buffness about him. This looked like Dark Batman to me. Don't like the dark characters. Loved the brief scene, made me . 5/10 for me.
