Finally! Thor without a shirt on, meow. Suppose it's too much to ask for a good baufin' scene in here.

Me, too, Al, me too! Save ya a seat at the Theater!

Thor 2 was fucking amazing !!! It's easily my favorite Marvel movie and now my favorite movie of the year. Alan Taylor has done a tremendous job with the movie and is a way more talented director than I expected. Please for the love of god get him back to direct episodes for seaon 5!
Oh and look out for the credits sting, it gets you excited for a certain movie coming out next year.
I liked the look of the Dark Elves, their weapons and armor looked great. But I found Eccleston wasted as very bland villain with no personality or clear motivation at all.

I enjoyed it more than the first Thor movie, that movie had a whole "we need to do this movie before the Avengers comes out vibe", and felt rushed with a weak finale in a cheap looking po-dunk town.
I felt the first act dragged a little bit in the sequel, but once shit goes down in Asgard and Loki comes into play it is a LOT of fun with a clever finale.
The after credits scene was cool too, ooh the collector! Tho most people in the audience had NO clue who he was haha.

I was like, OMG the Collector! And I still can't remember what storyline I know him from but I TOTALLY KNOW HE IS AN ETERNAL. Secret Wars? Challenge of the Universe, or something like that? GODS...
I agree with everything you said, Don. Boring start, I thought it was too much like Star Wars. But once Loki got going, man! And who knew that Idris Elba was Heimdall? And the guy from IT Crowd!

Everything after Iron Man (which I loved loved loved) was pure shit in my eyes (with Iron Man 2 being the most foul-smelling of them all). I have given up on Marvel altogether, their hubris is off-putting to say the least.
My goodness JP, you old, wet blanket I loved it. Of course, no baufin' so that was disappointing, however, did get to see Thor without a shirt, nearly slid under my theater seat swooning. And me without my smelling salts . Stayed for the end and so cool to see the new guy, was it Javier Bardem? Loved him in Skyfall. Of course, loved to see Stan Lee "Can I have my shoes back?"

I have to agree with JapieQ. I really liked the first Iron Man. Hated Avengers and the subsequent Iron Mans. captain America was lame. Never saw Thor, probably due to the fact that he has a magic hammer but I would probably dislike those as well.

I am sorry but anyone who didn't enjoy The Avengers needs to stop watching movies altogether.
Shit, that's it for me then.
Seriously? The Avengers is easily one of the best comic book movies ever made, it was funny, entertaining and made me feel like a child again. When Hulk caught Iron Man when he was falling from the sky I almost got up and cheered.
It was cheesy and made no sense. OK lets throw a bunch of superheroes together and see what happens. Oh and we also need Samuel L because he is bad ass.
Next.

There are rumors Loki might get his own film...sign me up!
Yes please! With Sony announcing a Sinister Six movie and a Venom spin off I thought we may see Loki get his own. He's probably the second most popular character at Marvel studios right now.
