Rhaegar, despite wounding Robert, was struck down with a massive blow from Robert's warhammer, which scattered the rubies encrusted in Rhaegar's armor under the water. Rhaegar died with Lyanna Stark's name on his lips.
I saw the second half. Looked good to me. like the guy (military) that heads it up from the movie version Avengers. He is a hoot.

I'm trying hard to like this show...but I find myself complaining about it too much. I had very high expectations...too high probably. Maybe a peek into Fury's perspective, a peek into the Asgardian alternate universe, a peek into the ongoing adventures of known superheroes, maybe iron man hitching a ride as they travel to a destination? I know they can't budget these film chars/actors but shit...if you're gonna produce a series about the management of superheroes, at least have a few cameos...(Scarlett Johannsen..maybe?...please?)
I like Ming-Na Wen's Melinda though. She owns it. The mystery behind Coulsen's supposed resurrection is mildly fascinating. Chloe Bennet is really good eye candy. Her backside and her backstory keeps me interested
Now see that's the sort of card they should of been playing since day one, bringing in the minor characters from the movie universe for episode cameos.
TV show knocked one out of the park when it synced up perfectly with the events of Winter Soldier, this is when this show works best. Awesome action and character moments, seems the show finally found it's stride.

I agree Cary, for me he had grown a bit stale, but what they did could invigorate him in cool ways. Very nice first part of the season, TWD could learn a bit from these guys.
