I was sure it was like Don mentioned but I browsed through Dany's ADwD and cannot find anything similar. Ha! I might get sucked to do a reread. Um maybe not.

I thought the same thing!

Well, that's definitely promoting something! Just not sure if it is the GoT season 4 or Martin's theater!
Nevertheless, looks like Miss Williams is the genuine person she always displays in all her interactions with the fans. Has to bebecause I cannot imagine otherwise someone greeting individually all fans standing in line to get inside.
Thank you Lady Lyanna for the link!

Is it me or is Cersei's wig bad again?
And come on, this new trend of creating teasers for promos or trailers is just silly and super annoying. Just air the damn thing! *grumble grumble*

I cannot believe how much authority Jon Snow shows in both this trailer and the Forshadowing preview. It really looks like it will be this season they'll choose him as LC very early on. Makes me wonder if they really will touch ADwD with this POV
Arya is counting the names!
Spoiler
And I hate to see Melisandre's name there but this is a direct result of her taking Gendry which is a show storyline.
Littlefinger is talking with Sansa there. There was some confusion on the web about that but it is her. I've got the screencap to prove it.
I stand by what I said. It is a White Walker at the end IMO, and you can hear the screeching sound which is how they communicate.
TW, it makes sense Mellisandre is a new name Arya mentions on the TV show, Arya assumed Mel took Gendry away to have him killed. Seems that is more than enough criteria to qualify on the kill-list, I don't mind it at all.

I'm getting tired of Arya's kill list. Where did Ilyn Payne and The Hound go?
I'm assuming that we don't necessarily hear all the names. Isn't the Mountain there too? And the Hound. Well...might be a little awkward for her at that moment.

Yes, I know. All I'm saying is that, while I'm terribly sad about Wilko Johnson, they should find a way to bring his story to a close, even if they do it off-screen. It'd be a little weird if they just 'forgot' about his character, since (unlike Greatjon, for example) Arya mentions him a lot.
They'd be foolish to reveal Coldhands in a trailer, you keep him for the end of one of the episodes.
What's the deal with the lack of Mance?
Agreed. Come on, it's not
Spoiler
Coldhands. Even if he won't ride an elk in the show (and I doubt he will), he's supposed to be wearing black and have the lower part of his face covered, which is a pretty big thing about his character.
The one in the trailer is just another WW.
I don't understand the lack of Mance either.
Spoiler
Viewers already expect him to attack the Wall, why not build this up a bit?

I agree with you, Don. It does make sense from the TV storyline point of view, I just don't like my Red Lady on that list!
Macha pointed out how odd not to hear Ilyn Payne's name on that list and she's right. Just doesn't feel right. Has to be the book influence.
I haven't been watching the teasers and trailers and whatever else, but it seems like HBO is really hyping this season hard. Do they think they'll lose viewers if they introduce more supernatural elements? They're just putting in so much more effort this year that I really have to wonder about the change.
I do believe Lady Black is correct! So much promotion for this season compared to the rest of them. The only time they did promote this hard was with Season 1, if I recall correctly. That being said, I am not complaining :)
I saw all the posters for the Houses (3 so far actually) and they all look amazing.
I think were probably afraid some people were too turned off by the RW, and want to entice them back into the story, by teasing them with their favourites.
Pitty the lack of Stannis though. One more poster for the fans wouldn't have killed them.
