I think the Who's Jon Snow's mother was EASY!!!!!! He should have asked who is the AAR? Now that would have been something. And I won't even touch the "Don't fuck it up!" message from Martin's wife or you are 93 min pilot short of scenes.
I loved it! Thanks Don :)
Imma start praising the show. Liked the trailer very much, although didn´t watch the whole thing yet. I liked Dorne very much in the books, the whole bastards thing I really loved about them.
The accents are funny, he sounds like our accent (LatinAm) and she sounds like all the british I know speaking spanish, like spaniards. Not a critic at all!!!

Oh, IT IS ON! He is so full of rage and passion there. And have to be honest, I saw that last scene and I instantly thought of you Lady Stark! LOL seeing as we like the Dane so.
Aaaw, looky Stannis in his red sails boat coming to fuck shit up. :azorahairebornobviously: Luuuved the trailer. I think it's the first season where I can't wait to see all the KL stuff, and the duel looks pretty cool so far.

Man! I think the trailers mess with us. I've watched them so many times, but on the aggregate it looks like they are putting him on that ship, then we have the ship passing between the Titan of Braavos (I know, right?! they must have had a blast CGI-in that in LOL). But I don't think Stannis is ON the ship. Let me look at the trailers again!

actually, what I saw wasn´t the trailer. Wut, 7 min trailers are good

No Coldhands. Oh well. It makes me wonder what *will* Bran's storyline be this season and in the future, seeing how they're already in ADwD territory.
Methinks
Spoiler
that Bran's "tree vision" might make for a good way to organically infuse the story with flashbacks, him seeing into the past could be interesting And give em something to do!

This site blows today. So many glitches. Didnt see any post about Bradleys CH revelation. Not sure why anyone is surprised. CHs moment to be introduced came and went.

Coldhands. I would throw a sissy fit, if I could muster the energy! (just kidding LOL) But I so wanted his mysterious self to be there. Better though they haven't, because they probably would have put him on a horse and given him a murder of pigeons!
Rhaegar, despite wounding Robert, was struck down with a massive blow from Robert's warhammer, which scattered the rubies encrusted in Rhaegar's armor under the water. Rhaegar died with Lyanna Stark's name on his lips.
If there really is no Coldhands then why the hell did they have the murder of crows warning Sam and Gilly about the Wight Walker?
Also why is Coldhands hidden in spoilers? as of ADWD we still have no clue to his identity.
I initially spoiler tagged it because a) Non-readers should be able to avoid reading about book characters that haven't appeared on the show and b) even book readers have their own limit when it comes to things they want to know about the new season and the changes to the books. They may choose to watch a trailer, but maybe they don't like finding out too much extra info that is show-specific. And because this thread has a *mark spoilers* policy.
To me, that scene didn't make it clear the ravens were there to warn Sam and Gilly. The show might use them in a different way
Spoiler
or they could explain it with Bran time-traveling and trying to help them by warging the ravens etc etc timey wobbly stuff.
That scene during season 3 looked pretty clear to me, they were trying to get Sam/Gilly's attention. It's not like we've associated ravens with normal Wight Walkers in the previous seasons. D & D could of put it in there as a little nod to the fans I suppose.
I would not mind it as long as they make the finale the movie, so instead of a one hour tv show we get a 3 hour feature film.
Oh R'hllor, please no movie. If they keep praising the TV format is because it's more suited to tell this story. Even GRRM praised it, and now he wants a movie? The man has lost his marbles. A movie should be able to tell a single story and be coherent, with a beginning and an ending. If there's too much to cover, make a mini series or a trilogy. If you need even more space, make a TV show. But a TV show ending with a movie just screams disappointment to me. And it just doesn't fit, logically. They have proven they can do battles if they have to, if that's the only argument for doing a movie. Why else should they even consider it? The show is doing fine just as it is, no need to fix something that's not broken.
I worry that George may write TWOW and ADOS so epic that they may be too much to adapt for TV. I mean with how the Dragons are evolving each season is going to get more bigger and expensive in scale. And lets not forget about the multiple battles that are on the horizon.
Al, regardless of the epicness of the books, they'll probably cut so much you'd see a bare skeleton of them. I just find it impossible to fit everything in. Frankly I'm surprised they fit as much as they have. And I like the books, all of them (well less Clash). Don't worry I'm very pissed inside for CH. I just find myself handling it a lot better than I thought. It is after all their vision. They'll never match mine.
For you guys freaking out about no ColdHands you sound like the same people that were screaming for Jojen and Meera during season 2. Since Bran has fuckall to do, maybe they moved his introduction to season 5 just like they delayed the introduction of the Reeds.
So calm yo tits!

I took it to mean CH will never be introduced in the show at all. Which actually makes a certain amount of sense, because he never seemed like a game-changing character. He was cool just for the theories surrounding his identity, and I can live with him being cut.
Re: the ending - didn't D&D mention repeatedly that we are not heading towards an epic good vs. evil battle? There may be some battles, but they can space them between S5, 6 and 7, and cut what's not absolutely necessary, or simply merge them
Spoiler
(like they're probably doing now with Tormund's and Mance's attack)
Andi ! You are a star ! I'll read that in bed tonight
On a totally different note . Neil Marshell , the Director... I knew I knew his name from somewhere's ... you know the film Dog Soldiers ... ( a line fro it is my quote ) Well he directed it .. (onion knight was in it ) Anyhoo , he's from Newcastle and I used to work with his mum ! Ha ha ! That almost like I've directed some of Game of Thrones Ok big stretch. But small world huh? !

KK boss, I'll wait it out. If he-who-shall-not-be-named shows up in S5, good. I just don't want to hear that he's out entirely and there is no way he will be in ever. To me, that's like
Spoiler
Benjen
, we all hope he'll show somehow, someway. Is it so bad to hope?
TW, you are right. It's D&D's vision. I'm no book purist and try not to compare the two. I can even do without a Greyjoy or two, a Dornish or two and a bastard or two. Do think it would be a mistake to take out entirely.

First
Spoiler
, Coldhands was a cool looking semi-mysterious dude I will admit, but like Strong Belwas and my own namesake I understand him getting cut. But since Bran's story is so anemic, I would not expect him to be the one on the chopping block.
In any case if D&D mentioned those things, fine, but Bradley is an actor, I don't expect him to be privy to Coldhands insider information. Especially since CH plays a bigger part in Bran's story than Sam's.
Personally I think he could be a season 5 character, cuz Bran is running out of story fast ( don't worry tho says there is enough book story left before Winds gets published )
