Oh, shan, I don't have Showtime I will watch this on "another outlet" (hint: Arrrrr) and give it a whirl. Not an Eva Green fan at all, but I suffered through her in Casino Royale and loved it, so, this is her last chance fancy pants!

Eva's chemistry with Craig is one of the reasons the movie is so good.
Both trailers look good. I think I might just have to see it myself though like Lyanna I don't have Showtime.
Off-Topic: Is it just me or a LOT of movie actors reverted to the small screen in the past 5 years. Networks always bring them to do TV movies or mini-series (see Hatfield & McCoys, Mildred Pierce and so forth) but now with TD, this one and many others it looks like a huge flux towards series with rather big movie actors.

I've noticed this too. I think it's just a sign of the quality of television, actors now just go where the best roles/scripts are. The days of mega movie stars are dying out as audiences just want interesting and exciting ideas portrayed on both the big and small screens.
I saw it. It was one of those that you'd think it's a good horror movie not a TV series. That is how good I think it was quality wise. Acting was good too, script - promising. I also turned on ALL lights at my disposal and watched it squinting and through my fingers.
Dalton is stealing the pilot IMO. But the others are not far behind.

but is there any.....
No. Not sure you'll like how dressed to the last button Miss Green is too She is very thin though. Looks more like a skeleton here and she is very beautiful in real life.

Eva is gorgeous, her eyes are so seductive.
I can't wait to watch this in a couple weeks. Does Showtime potentially have a rival to GOT on their hands?
It was Game of Thrones! What did you expect, Al?! I have to see more than one ep to figure out if it is a fair competition to GoT. But I'm telling you if the next eps are close to what the pilot was, IT IS GOOD!

Showtime aired Penny Dreadful at the same time? silly wabbits.
Peeped this show, episode 2 Eva Green was wuuuuuuuuuuuuuut?
Idk what to think yet, so many wonderful famous characters, the darkest stories but the show seems too neat? Idk, early to say I guess.
Edit:
I was not finished watching when wrote that and suddenly NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO wtf?

Just give Eva Green the Emmy now, she was incredible during the seance.
I was already loving this show but the moment Penny Dreadful decided to give me a flash of Billie Piper's milk wagons it become an instant favorite of mines
Would it be possible to cross the streams and create a scene between Tywin Lannister and Sir Malcolm ?? I want to see Dance and Dalton on screen together so badly.

ALLLLLL! YOU FINALLY SAW IT!
I LOVED EVA Amazing she was Her speaking to Malcom in his daughter's voice, the tear on her cheek, the pain in her voice. FREAKING AMAZING.
I'm delighted I still have peeps to discuss this show with.

The scene was disturbingly exhilarating. I don't think I've heard that many C bombs dropped since Deadwood
I am surprised how well she acts against every damn man in the show! All her scenes were good. Her and Dorian Grey sexual charge was BOOOOOM granted the camera work was excellent, but I'm telling you.... That was something.
I'm not sure that I really like this show after seeing the first three eps. I'll watch a few more to give it a chance. The show seems to me like it's trying to do too much. But yeah, the seance scene was an impressive bit of acting. There are not many actresses who are willing or able to put that much of themselves into a scene and become twisted, contorted, hideous versions of themselves. And the Eva Green sex scene...wow, the most non-sensual, emotionless sex I've seen in a long time. Nicely done.
Acting was very good again but I´m actually thinking what´s next, the invisible man? I´ll keep watching tho.

Episode 5, wow!! what an incredible piece of television. That episode is up there with some the best I've ever seen. If Eva Green doesn't win an Emmy for her role in Penny Dreadful I'll riot.
