That would be a waste, since he doesn't die in the books. I don't know if he'll ever do anything important though, but I imagine D&D will have something in store for him either way.
Yeah we didn't technically see The Hound die did we? Arya refused him mercy and left him to die at that tree.
I wonder if D & D might be tempted to make Brienne cross paths with The Hound this season, it would be a departure but just think how cool the duel would look.

The hound and Arya have a hell of a head start and are headed to the Vale, and Brienne just started out on the Kingsroad. I bet the H&A run into sound trouble with the mountain clan or get refused at the Eyrie when Lady Lysa gets chucked out of the moon door.
Maybe on their way back they run into each other....we shall see!

*SPLAT* "Well, there went another family reunion, out the window!"
Oh, poor Arya, the trauma she has to go through!

Oh, I can't even think with what to start! First off: I can't believe Asha almost saved Theon. I hope one of his bitches rips Ramsey to pieces. The dehumanization of Theon is horrible.
Davos fucking Seaworth, ladies and gents! Negotiating like a boss with the IBB's loan officers. That was worth the half day wait for Stannis. Not in the books but what a scene. Loved it.
And straight to Tyrion's trial. Not only I like Peter's acting in that scene but I felt like giving him a standing ovation! Oh, Jaime offered. Jaime offered Tywin what that pater familias wanted all along, I just know it!
Did Littlefinger cunning just take the cake by throwing on Dontos' body that necklace?! HAHAHAH that guy will end up on the Iron Throne unless Sansa kills him first!
Cannot think right now at anything else but I love Oberyn. Thank God Tormund did not make an appearance! My heart could not possible have take it.

HALF MAAAAAN! Wow, wow, wow. Peter is the shiznit, damn he killed it. On another note, don't know why the shepherd's goat was brought before Danerys as opposed to his son. That would have meant more, had a stronger impact. Then, the son of a crucified man wants his father's corpse? Yeah, o.k., I get that, but still the burned son would have meant more. Shea was spot on, IMO, my freaked out (he's unsullied). Davos saves Stannis ass with the Bank of Braavos, did not recall that from the book, but it works, IMO. Loved to see Sallidor Saan again, he is a trip. Very good episode.

The burnt bones is coming. This was a set-up for that one later in the season (probably episode 10)

That was by far the dumbest and most pointless scene D & D have created to date, it was fucking awful.
It started very well in my opinion! Until Ramsey showed up with his key... Then I don't know what happened. That's so not Asha. Maybe that's Yara, but not Asha. Now all we miss is her failure at the Kingsmoot and she'll look not a badass but a weakling!
It was just beyond ridiculous. Are we suppose to believe that Asha and few men are able to climb inside the Dreadfort and get close enough to bail Theon out of the kennals, despite the fact in the show Roose has returned there with his army
And then Ramsay just lets Asha (BALON'S DAUGHTER) away for shits and giggles, what in Seven Hells are D & D smoking??? They've jumped the shark. I fear for the future of this series.
I thought it was a likely outcome. Theon was so pitiful and such a pain in the ass to rescue I don't see what else she could have done. I was wondering what happened to the dogs as she was running to her boat, though.

Ry, Yara went to save him. SAVE HIM. She gave that great speech and then once Ramsey unleashes his bitches you see her running to her boats. Do you really not see the inconsistency there? In span of two scenes she goes 180.
Even after Theon shows her he's Reek and is completely off his rocker and dehumanized Yara asks Ramsey to let him go. Then Bolton's bastard pulls a key and she just leaves?! Come on.. That does not make sense. It would have made more sense for her to leave once she pulls Theon out and realizes he's no longer the brother she knew. I think it the scene was poorly executed there at the end. That is what I pointed out. And I am not changing my mind on it, either.
The scene was a mixed bag, it was silly that Asha ran away at the sight of a few mangy pups. She could've killed em with a few swings of her "suckling babe" ( did like that detail ).
The point of that scene was to show how completely gone Theon was, and it worked quite well in that regard ( since we have no internal POV to establish this fact ).

Surely there was other ways to show that Reek had completely taken over Theon? was it really necessary to sacrifice Asha?
Even the Iron Bank scene felt a little flat to me, I didn't hate it but I had high hopes when they cast Mark Gatiss. He sounded too similar to Mycroft, that kind took me out of the show for a second. Liam Cunningham was great though, the unexpected Sallador scene was neat.
I loved the reactions of Jaime and Oberyn when Tyrion requested trial by combat. Oberyn was intrigued and Jaime looked like he was in dire need of some Imodium.

The Asha scene made perfect sense. She wasn't going to save Theon so it wasn't worth dying over. She asked Ramsay to let him go in a final act of kindness.

Schopenhauer Varys is the best Varys!!! I always miss the fatty, he´s freaking good in every line. Liked him the duo with Oberyn and btw, I rrrrrreally liked Pascal this episode.
I laughed at the Braavos scene, the staging in the Iron Bank was perfect. The bankers in thrones and Stannis in a park bench Loled at Dillane´s faces (tho if they keep with this he´ll start to look a bit silly) and I loved Cunningham, he is so fucking incredibly nice and patient and loyal that he´s almost contagious. Gatiss is gold too.
Watched without subs so didn´t exactly know at what Stannis answered: "More than any man living" . Help?
All the trial was good, loved most of the characters but I should rewatch because I was very surprised with Shae but I think she recited that shit to save Tyrion´s life? idk, would be very soap opera like but sounded too stupid to be just out of spite... sounded more like part of some Tiwyn´s plan? oh shit, that means he...nop, can´t say it here.
I agree with TW and Al here, Asha´s scene was not only bad technically or even unnecessary, was also unreasonable and, lucky me, TW and Al already gave some of the reasons but I mean, come oooooooooon, just fucking kill the dogs at the first bark lady, before crazy Frodo can hear them, and then knock your brother and take him away, is not like she doesn´t know how to deal with crazy family already. The scene was bad in every possible way and pains me to say it because she´s the only ironborn I like. And I loved that beautiful scene she had with Theon last season (?). This one is not the same Yara.
Dany, ugh, ok, could be so much worse. I liked how all of them, poor or rich, made her look really stupid every-time she opened her silly mouth.
this is the thread where I can say whatever I want, god I´m

I just want to say that the previews for next week are making me really anxious. That scene in the Ayrie with Sansa, Lysa, Littlefinger and the Moon Door is probably the most anxiety inducing one for me in the series yet. Not quite sure why, but I think I really felt for Sansa more at that point than any time else in the books. Particularly given what an utter dick Littlefinger has been.

Sorry but Alfie nailed the scene with Asha. They could have all farted and had a laugh at the end instead of a dog chase and it still wouldn't have negatively impacted how brilliant he was.

There he is with his "the show is not the books" ! Bad Yara! I don't like this one too much. I loved Asha.
Yep, me, too, TW However, I think Gemma does the best she can with what she's got. They have def. made her "Yara" as opposed to "Asha", and I much preferred "Asha". However, D&D and Nina Gold could not give two of what I think, so, this is what we got

When I saw Sansa's snow version of Winterfell in the preview I marked out. Judging by that teaser it seems like Lysa might even be killed off next week.
I love how we keep calling Yara Asha, like she's the same person or something. Still, it's looking good for a Queensmoot.
I'm not calling her Asha. At least I think I'm not. But that may be because I thought Asha was a boring cliche and the sooner I forget about her, the better.

What did you want to say about Tywin, andi?
To me it was obvious she was doing it because she was hurt and she wanted her testimony to hurt him just as much. Maaaaybe it could also have been something Tywin or Cersei told her, but I don't think she wanted to save his life in any way. I don't think she wants him executed either, she doesn't think that far ahead, I think she genuinely wanted to hurt him and that's all, for now. Because she loves him still.
I am so going to enjoy watching Tyrion strangle the life out of Shae, that testimony sealed her fate.
I always found that a bit bittersweet in the book, depends on how it is filmed it could end up the same.
I really enjoyed Tywin's death in the book, and "for the first time Tywin did not shit gold"...was one of the best lines ever...but I doubt Tyrion would utter it.
It will be SUCH a bummer to have Dance leave, the man is quality.

Oh, we got a bloodthirsty one here!!!! I believe they'll do it. There was some question about that in the beginning of the season: will Tyrion kill her or not. I think like you that now it is a given. We'll see though. I have been wrong before. A LOT! HAHA
I miss Varys vs Littlefinger! You saw it too: Schopenhauer's will to live vs Nietzsche's will to power. I loved those two. I think the show had a blast with those two theories embodied so well in the movers and shakers in the Game of Thrones. I still think Littlefinger's chaos ladder theory is much more efficient however unpredictable.
@Ly: I agree with you about Gemma. She really does a wonderful job with what she's got. I mean that speech she gave overlapping Ramsey's sex scene gave me the goosebumps. So did her reaction at seeing her brother as Reek!
@Ry: You know how I feel. I think you are totally wrong. But Alfie was tremendous. On that we agree.
I was re-watching episode six today and was curious about a certain scene. During the small council meeting Tywin asks Mace (don't get me started on D & D's butchering of that character) to fetch a pen, ink, quill etc, he asks for this after their ludicrous discussion about Dany which made no sense, sorry I digress, could D & D scheme up a dastardly plan to make Tywin and Hizdar form an alliance to take care of Dany?
