I haven't played the Walking Dead, just because I don't like horror/survival games, although it looks good and I like this style of playing too, where you don't have to do much other than make choices, but is GoT going to be done in the same fashion?

PS: What's Wolf Among Us about? I imagine werewolves?

I wished they'd kept the same art style they used for The Walking Dead and Wolf Among Us. This looks pretty crappy BUT I bet the story will be good, good, good.

Just played the first chapter and it was outstanding.

What I like about this is that unlike the books and Tv show, you are an active participant and being the one that makes crucial decisions againts Cersei and Ramsay is exhilirating.

I do like the art style of the game, the oil painting look is quite nice and the voice acting is top notch all around.
The only notch against it are the stilted animations, but that is hardly a dealbreaker.

Cannot wait for episode 2, get in on this Macha!

Played it! I have to say it fell a bit flat for me. The music could have been better, and the characters more diverse. But ultimately this was only the first episode, and I expect things will get to be more interesting once we're introduced to Asher -

Yep, the game is definitely much better than the RPG. I think I'm just a little bored with how all the characters seem to resemble the Starks. But I expect that was the intent. Reeaally curious to see what's the secret of the North Groove. Ah shit, I just realized I only told Duncan,

I actually created two saves.

On my first save file I played the game with my regular responses, with my second I took a riskier approach and did the opposite of what I did on my first run. While the story pretty much funnels to the same end, I was suprised how different some of the dialog paths went, pretty neat. And knowing how the Walking Dead games veered in all kinds of directions in the final end game, I expect the same here.

Also it seems the Forresters have an incredibly valuable asset with this Ironwood, it seems so valuable that they could've made a very powerful house, I mean what kinda assets do the Starks have? ( other than bad luck? )

Played it and loved it. That ending was completely unexpected.

I stole the key but not the seal because I didn't want to be too greedy and because I figured it would be much easier for Margery to notice if I took her seal (which is pretty big and hard to lose compared to the small key). I wonder who the new POV in Ironrath will be, my guess is the twin sister for now (is she technically the lady of the house now that Ryon got taken away? until Asher returns?). It will have to be the person that assumes control of the house.

I just started the third character. So far the music is the best part. The play, story, and graphics are terrible. Seems like they just ripped off the Starks instead of creating something new and significant. Its only $5 so its no biggie, but so far its not worth even that.

 I agree about the graphics (pretty terrible, IMO) but otherwise I really liked it. It was obvious from the start the story wasn't going to be significant to the characters and storylines in the show (because the choices you make in the game can't impact the show) so that doesn'to disappoint me. I also think there's a lot of potential going forward with the Wall and Essos coming into the picture.

 Yep, same here. Tho I have a feeling it won't have that much of an impact on the story.

And I agree with Ry, they borrowed too much from the Starks. The chick in KL (forgot her name) reminds me too much of Sansa and Gared of Jon Snow.

Right now I'm just curious where exactly the first season will end, compared to the show's timeline.

I'm hoping each season will deal with a different family/different characters. It would be hard to hold on to so many decisions and carry them throughout the seasons.

 It was kinda like a boss battle, I enjoyed it. And there is something very cool about interacting with the characters instead of being passive observers in the book/show.

lol Ry did you bitchslap Cersei? What was the result? That Cersei scene and the final one were my favorites, and oddly enough both involved show characters. Looks like we'll be meeting Jon Snow, some Wall folk and probably Varys at some point judging by trash kid what's his face. And maybe Dany and her gang through Asher.

I finished it last night and now I'm reading thru the comments. I didn't realize you could take stuff. Lol. I just skipped the scenes when you walk around because I thought they were pointless. I wasn't surprised by the ending at all once the guards came in but I figured that would happen. The game avoided the option to fight in an annoying way.

Hahahaha! That poor kid, Ry, you are evil, I rescued him so he was alive for me. So maybe the trailer did not take into account your personal choice and was just a general trailer....I highly suggest E3, an epic "hell fucking yeah" moment came in there.

Oooh boy. Sorry Don, I know you like this.
But for me, this game sucks BIG time. I can't even remember what happened in Episode 2, but episode 3 was agonizing from start to finish. sleep 

I think my major gripe with it is that there is no originality in this whatsoever. Gared is such a tiresome rehash of Jon, I can barely get through his scenes, and as if that wasn't enough, we have Jon in every freakin scene to remind us. Seriously, does he have nothing better else to do? They should have just went with Sam if they needed a familiar face, seeing Jon fretting all day over some nobody feels just like bad fan fiction. And Frostfinger, huh?... That pulls me a bit out of the story, because I always expect Thorne in his place. 

I chuckle when they mention the North Groove every single time tho, because that reminds me of the map in our Funfiction story. Hey, we could have scripted a much better game than this one! And yeah yeah, we all know they're gonna find a sleeping Ice Dragon in the North Groove, blah blah. 

You just can't relate to any of the characters, and none of the characters seem interesting no matter how you play them. I suppose there is some potential in Mira, but the rest....ugh.  I wanted to like Rodrick, but he's just too bland, and the Whitehills are too generic-evil.  Malcolm is pretty pointless, Duncan is the most obvious traitor, the mother is the less-obvious traitor, and all in all, I can't seem to care what happens to that wretched family. 

Beskha and the coal boy, they're ok.

I see what you mean Macha, I do agree they stick too close to the shows character types.

I do find many things intriguing, how the Forresters seems to swallow their pride temporarily in order to come back strong later, is something the Stark's would've never done. I think Gared's story will be more original once he takes off for the North Grove, and gosh I have no idea what will happen in King's landing.

I still enjoy it, and maybe because the other GOT games have been so bad, I find this one quite enjoyable.
