I wonder if HBO will show the flashbacks or not, there's one about a woman killing some guy with a copper knife there i haven't been able to tie to anything in the rest of the story.
I don't remember this ? I need book and page number please
yeah I remember now, I took that to be a sort of druid type reference and that the first men believed in blood offerings to the hearts tree, tying in with Bran's experience and I guess Jojen paste.

Oh, I thought that those Bran's visions might be connected between them, and the pregnant lady from the previous scene that comes out of the lake saying "grant me a son so he can avenge me" is the same as the white haired lady who's son (now grown up) brought the person who's done her wrong in front of the weirwood tree so she can kill him. is a good tale of mystery, passion and revenge!
Such secrecy makes me think of all the unpublished plot points that we might get to see play out next season

Seriously though, I hope this is true cause it's the first thing that actually makes me really excited about S5. I don't care what they bring him back as, in this particular instance I say "fuck the books!" I just want me some more Jaqen. Cause yes, when it comes to Jaqen I'm that shallow. Anyways, though highly unlikely and far fetched, I'm quite interested in the spec that the kindly man might pose as Jaqen to get Arya's trust, it's got a lot of potential.
KK, besides Tir's acknowledgment, I haven't seen anything about that topic on this thread, but here it is:
Rhaegar, despite wounding Robert, was struck down with a massive blow from Robert's warhammer, which scattered the rubies encrusted in Rhaegar's armor under the water. Rhaegar died with Lyanna Stark's name on his lips.
bastique answered: I’m going with Tower of Joy. That totally looks like what I think the Tower of Joy looks like.
california-doom-merchants answered: oh man trying to keep my hopes down but Tower of Joy? TOWER OF JOY?
My brain says nah, they won’t do that because we all want it too much and Sean Bean’s too old for that flashback but my body says, oh god yes, please let it be. Or it could be some cool building in whatever random Vale place they’re sending Sansa and Company off to. But we can dream.

That tower looks like TOJ, and who knows. Bran's storyline can become flashbackville.
In his case him hacking the "Weirnet" will A) Find an organic way to infuse past exposition, and B) Give him shit to do.
How they will do it...who knows.

Clearly, the most generally appreciated actors on that list are Doran (Alexander Siddig, who I'm sure will do a great job) and Obara (Keisha Castle Hughs- an Oscar nominee). Also, we're getting this aged up Trystane. I think those three will be the major players in Dorne. Indira Varma is also sure to have much more screentime in season 5 as Ellaria.
We also know this from the auditions:
E
Spoiler
Jamie is going to Dorne with Bronn
So this is my guess, and I'll put it in spoiler code because of the above spoiler being involved:
E
Spoiler
Doran seems at first, like in the books, to be abslutely against going to war with the Lannisters. The Sand Snakes and Ellaria are pissed about Oberyn's death and begin plotting against Doran. Quickly, they get Trystane on their side (promisinghim that he'll be king of Westeros) and he in turns convinces Myrcella by using the "power of love" to join their cause. In the meantime, Cersei sends Jamie to Dorne to bring back Myrcella. He picks Bronn along the way and we get a glimpse at the greatness that is Lollys Stokeworth (she was on the leaked casting sheet). Jamie and Bronn reach Dorne in about the same time as the Myrcella crowning plot takes wing- so he narrowly misses the chance to steal her away. Bronn and Jamie are then approached by Areo, who reveals that Doran knows they're in Dorne and wants to settle the matters peacefully. Doran meets Jamie and Bronn and tells them about the Myrcella crowning plot- asking Jamie not to tell it to Cersei because a war might break out- they make a deal and Bronn, Jamie and Areo set off to stop the Sand Snakes. They manage to get there in time, there's a big fight scene and it ends with Areo being a badass. They turn back home and it all ends peacefully- Jamie and Bronn take Myrcella to King's Landing (against her will), the Sand Snakes and Trystane are locked up and that's it. Later on, Doran calls Trystane from his cell and reveals that he never wanted peace with the Lannisters. Trystane is sent to marry Dany in Meereen (taking the role of Quentyn) and Doran gets his famous speech. Later Doran sends Nymeria and Tyene to King's Landing (like what happens in the books, assume it'll be important) and keeps Obara close at hand. Obara, being the oldest Sand Snake, gets legitimized (since Doran has no living heirs after sending Trystane to marry Dany and be king) and she effectively takes on the role of Arianne (since there's no way we'll get Darkstar and Obara is hunting him in the books so she'll have nothing to do in the show for now). Trystane gets burned in Meereen and we're done with that "romantic" thing.
The rest depends on whether the show includes Aegon or not. I still think that there's a chance since there's no way they'd reveal him in the casting video because of the whole identity mystery thing (Ramsay wasn't revealed in season 3's video for that exact reason).

So where does Myrcella lose her ear? Because that's going to happen.

I think they'll either cut that or go all the way and kill Myrcella. There's still a chance they'll cast Darkstar though (he's super minor) so it's possible.
And what is with this old lady person in Brienne storyline??
Yeah would that put paid to any theory about Brienne going to the Eyrie/Vale or meeting the BWB I wonder? Where would be "dangerous territory?" Harrenhal, or Riverrun under the Freys? Somewhere new? She will still be searching for Sansa and/or Arya surely?
Formatting on this thread has gone all squint! Sorted made the pic above smaller

Lena will get a lot of kudos if she does that scene herself with no body double. Suppose they will use a bald wig but even more kudos if she goes for the real shaven head. Oh to be an extra flinging filth at Cersei
So...Sophie Turner now has her script, starts filming S5 on Wednesday and is shooting only in Belfast...
So will all her scenes be interiors, or does it really mean in Northern Ireland with some on location exteriors? Bet she'll miss the Croatian climate
The Walk of Shame is coming. Bet it would be her who's doing it! And I expect it to be really good too. I really like Lena's Cersei and she pulled off some great scenes last season.
Not sure what Miss Turner will be doing though. That will be a shock. Cannot even speculate proper because my storyline is so with the books.

I can't see how it'll work without exterior scenes given that they're touring the Vale with little Tittiemilk. What, will Sansa teleport to another castle and stay there for the entire season? I doubt it. What she probably means is Northern Ireland in general.

even though it's entirely possible, even probable, I'm still not convinced the lannister guards necessarily will be in braavos. Maybe they use one building there as part of the KL storyline.

So the news that Ironborn arc will not be in season 5 is interesting. That and that Bran's story is completely removed is rather smart. It gives the other plot points more room to breathe, especially since a deluge of new characters coming in.
Are the Ironborn being saved for season 6? Maybe, but the short shrift Asha got last season does not seem encouraging.

LOL, I doubt it is real, afterall they managed to keep Mamoa's cameo in season 2 a secret, so if they brought Michelle back it would be under the dark of night.
So Jaime and Bronn are in Dorne, ok...sure...it could be fun, but now how the hell will Brianne get to him...or....oh...now that Stoneheart is gone, there is no reason to trick Jaime into going with her. Huh, quite different from the books then.

I have stayed away from most forums so this speculation is mine alone...
Instead of having Jon stay at the wall taking inventory, they have him doing a battle at Hardhome, very cool. Is that where he will get betrayed? Instead of Jaime dealing with remaining Riverland lords, he will be dealing with the Martell's in Dorne, with Bronn, awesome...we get more Bronn than in the books. But where my blackfish at?
Seems that the Sons Of The Harpy will be a larger insurgent force than the books, seemingly committing a coup on her wedding day...sounds a lot more fun than poisoned honeyed locusts to me!
What the hell will Brienne be doing all season? Sansa might become "fake Arya", marrying Ramsay Bolton might seem like a good way to get in and betray them later ( revenge?)
I can't wait!

Jon Snow getting stabbed at Hardhome is a very real possibility. I didn't think it possible initially because if he does get stabbed then what happens with him? Think they'll carry his body back for Mel to resurrect? I doubt that.
On the other hand if in TWoW Jon's storyline turns him into a wight, with the cold coming and all (think of the dead ones he kept in the ice cells to see if they turn for example) then him being killed at HH makes sense. He can turn into a wight right there. After all the WW and wights are supposed to be their adversary there.
I wonder how much sense I make at this hour with this speculation.

Don't know about Brienne but they show the Vale knights quite a bit in the trailer so something must be up in the Vale!
And not to shock you or anything but Linda thinks Sansa is FArya. Yuck. I hope we don't get the Theon prepping her for Ramsey. That was disgusting and cruel. I hope Ramsey dies 1000 deaths.
I think they will kick ass at Hardhome, Jon comes back Victorious, he gets the taunting letter from Ramsay, he wants to go to Winterfell and then they stab him.
The season will end with him dying, oh man, the unsullied will freak! I hope Mel revives him. Jon the wight...dunno about that.
I think Sansa as Ramsay's bride makes sense, the fake Arya barely made sense in the books, and there is no way to introduce this fake Arya in the TV show.

You still think we're getting the Pink Letter then? I don't know why but to me it just seems like the North is completely cut storywise. It is probably because they didn't let on anything.
I think we will get some kind of Ramsey wedding though because there was a pic with all the Boltons behaving and waiting in line like a nice little family for something. I think it's Ramsey's bride. Maybe it really is Sansa. Hmm, so unusual. On the upside, that means no TWoW spoilers really, just consolidating some storylines.
EDIT: Al, you better not read this speculation stuff. Just saying.
