I dunno, Ry. While plankton seems like a high-protein snack at first glance, seeing the effect it has on the physique of whales makes me reluctant to go there. *blubberbutt*
Planks are a bitch. Remember your form: keep you butt DOWN! After holding it as long as you can, rip off a bunch of sit ups, plank again and repeat until you feel like throwing up. I've read plenty of literature from training experts that planking, crunches and whatnot do actually fuck-all for losing tummy fat. And ... they are right.
You mean to tell me no one is this thread espoused the virtues of losing belly fat through abdominal work-outs alone? Are you sure? Maybe you should read the posts again because this thread is full of that misinformation.

It's in swimming people! All in swimming. I did it btw! Rocked the pool for 25 laps. to me. Sorry folks for the bragging but as it turns out you seem to be my support group. No one else wants to hear me brag and you can't stop me from typing, so you are STUCK with me!

Mmmmm. Swimmers lower halves....

I'm thinking of doing more than swimming at the gym but I never got enough time unfortunately. And half of those machines I wouldn't know how to use anyway. Maybe I'll go in the middle of the night when there's no one around and fiddle with the damn things, so no one will laugh at me for being a catastrophe.
Yeah, it would be worthwhile to set up a single session with a personal trainer so that they can show you proper settings and stuff. Joint alignment can be important.
Yes, I'm injury-prone. I tend to overdo it and get tendonitis and other overuse injuries. I can't exercise in moderation, so I have to tell myself to slow down and not push too hard. It's always been an issue for me.
Dolan, it's paid sessions. And the fitness club I got a membership for is pricey for personal trainer.
Unlike you, Basi, I always give up right when I feel it gets tough. I have to tell myself to do one more push up or pull up because I haven't done enough and it will not kill me.
