It's breathtaking, SisY! You have captured her perfectly So, the last episode of the half-season (crying) up to visit the Grandshire who is a shite, ye ken? The actor playing him does a wonderful job. Laughair (pronounced Leery) is there, ugh, ya just know that's trouble with a capital T. As to the "Faith" episode, yep, that was the worst for the season for me. I've held a miscarried baby in my own hands as well and it is truly awful. Bawled my eyes out at that one. We'll see Jamie's cousin more often in the future as well, the cutie :)

Thanks Sisly It needs a lot more work maybe later. I think your 1 ep. Ahead of me . Ours is added tonight to Amazon I think .
Yes Faith was so very moving . . More hugs for my Sis ❤
My goodness, Ly his grandpa is a piece of work! "Enough breath wasted on a woman!" If looks could kill, Claire's would have made mincemeat outta him I didn't understand how much time has passed since our heroes left Scotland for their Paris trip. It must have been a while because Jaime's sister has another kid I tried to add up the months but see it looks Like Claire lost hers and Jenny didn't? I don't know. I must be missing something.
Best scene for me: Jaime and the baby keeping each other's company Funniest: LOL Jaime's cousin and his poetry.
Episode felt more like transition though. Curious to see if how big is this Jacobite army. I doubt Lovat's men would make such a difference.

Grandpa is political big time. He's the kind of Scot that follows the money. Don't think Collum was there in the books. Yes, Jenny had another baby. They have Young Jamie, Margaret (they call her Maggie in the books) and this new one should be Katherine (they call her Katie in the books), but I heard her say "Catrina" which is the real name of the chick who plays Claire. That was a nod to her, methinks, because Diana (author) liked her so much. Also, since Catrina is Irish she spells it all screwed up, Caitriona Balfe.

Grandpa seemed like an smart ass who knows how to play both sides! I wonder how Dougal feels about his brother's neutrality. I cannot imagine he'd stay put and not interfere but I suppose he's bound to obey the chief of his clan.
Got caught up last night on my new HD telly . . They all look so good !
My funniest scene was Jamie telling Grandpa blackfish what the madam blanche would do to his member !! Ha ha !
So good to see them back in Scotland .
Don't know what the deal is this year, I am woefully behind on my Outlander news. Apparently, they are going to keep going. Two new episodes, so, I guess they are not breaking it up this year. Sorry ladies, or yippie, we have more epidsodes!

Hail Mary episode - Graham McTavish gets top marks for this episode. IMO, he steals every scene he's in anyway. Don't know what it is about that crusty old dwarf but he gives me the vapors . Mary's husband scene is sad and scary. Bit different than the book but still good. Lord Edmure is so good as Black Jack, wowza. Poor Jamie, tries his best to get these stubborn clans to agree on the color o' shite and they canna. Murtah, the sweetie, offers to take care of poor Mary, the dear. Not my fav episode but a good filler one. Ladies?

I believe she got pregnant from the rape. So, it's not a biological Randal, but it is Franks, grandma's, grandma's, grandma. Make sense?

Finally got a chance to see one episode Je Suit Pret, where Claire is having backslashes of her WWII experience with private Lucas but then the meeting with old friends was precious: "Scotland wouldn't be the same without you"
This episode Clare told Dougal off for what she thought he's faking as patriotism. Tedious = go fuck yourself must remember that one! I didn't like Dougal trying to undermine Jaime's training of his men but it looks like his nephew put his foot down and Dougal took notice. So far so good.
I am behind like 3 eps I think. Will try to catch up with you ladies, especially now that I'm reading the Frank parentage is revealed
Angus died I liked that bastard. He was weird and rough and aggressive but I liked him. I thought it would be Rupert because he didn’t want to say goodbye to Claire and did have that big cut on his side but it was Angus because of the cannonball blast. I liked Dougal in the beginning but then when he started to kill the fallen English... Jaime did however put a move worthy of Collum McKenzie. Promoted him while keeping him away. At least he’s not in complete disgrace. Felt bad for the kid too for killing that British solder but he should have never left Claire At least he's alive! Oh, and I really, really liked the soundtrack during the whole ep but I got goosebumps when Dougal came back from the bog with Brits shooting at him. Best piece yet this season! Next week is the finale. Looks like an hour and a half.
I reaaaaallly liked "Vengeance is mine" Sandringham was horrible and Murtagh head chopping was shocking. I thought Mary was going to pass out. Claire was more composed.
Funniest scene was Murtagh reading Claire's letter in Gaelic. He was like Stannis: "She even misspelled Help" They couldn't read the help note proper OMG hilarious.
Sandringham was like Jaime's grandpa: he played both sides but he messed with the wrong Scots.
I don't think I had so much fun in quite a few eps. The plotting at Belmont House was super entertaining.
No Frank for a few eps and no Blackjack. I assume we'll see some Toby before the season is done though.

It is Alex's. They all have returned from France for a while. In fact Claire said at the beginning of the episode "Vengeance is mine" that they have been retreating for 5 months and that is AFTER Prestonpans battle. Add in also the months they have been gathering the Jacobite army and the training period and Claire, Mary, Murtaugh and Jaime look like they have returned to the Isles for more than 7-8 months. So Mary had to remain pregnant when she came back from France. Hopefully it will be more clear in the season finale. Haven't seen it yet.
Season 2 done and left on a cliffhanger of sorts! I was surprised they didn't show anything of the battle I expected this big thing and well... I guess no funds for it.
It was a girl and Jaime didn't know it, however it looks like he might find out I liked Bree. I think she handled the whole thing much better than I imagined Daddy. She was calling Frank "Daddy"
I don't know if Blackjack died but I would have thought history would have changed if he didn't. I mean 1968 day Claire would have known.
Gillian Edgars holy shit she had a human sacrifice! Another murder on her hands. Well, the original murder I suppose
And finally I have no idea how Jaime and Claire will resume their relationship. For her it was 20 years. For him more like I don't know... one month? Will she go back to the time Gillian goes, BEFORE the Jacobite revolution or when? Interesting. I guess we will have to wait like a year now.
KK, couple of things. Firstly, I did NOT like the last episode of the season . In the books, Angus doesn't die, Rupert does, I believe, not a big deal. BUT, Dougal tries to kill Jamie on the battle field, not in a bed room, in the books. Was bumbed that was switched up. Jamie kills him anyway but doesn't want to. The biggest bummer was Claire going back. It was agonizing in the book. Absolutely gut wrenching. This was much too wishy-washy. There were pages of them pleaded each other to stay/go. Also, Jamie carved a "C" into his wrist with his dagger and then Claire wanted a "J" on hers, so he carved on into hers. Not that I wanted to see blood but it was blood oath that she would come back if he survived. She left because she was afraid she was going to need a C-Section since she lost Faith so late in her pregnancy. She did not want to loose another one of Jamie's babies. He's also afraid that if he is killed in the battle, she'll have no one there, and she doesn't know what is to become of the Jenny and the rest of the Frasers. Also, Sandringham (I believe) just kind of fades away in the books. I was not expecting the beheading! That was pretty cool.

Alrighty, Season 3 heeere we go! Episode 1: Um, kinda didn't feel much on it. Correct me if I am wrong here book readers, but didn't Jamie fight
Spoiler
Dougal
at the Battle of Culladen not
Spoiler
Black Jack
? It's been a while since I read the books but that seemed to be the deal to me. Kind of a downer episode, IMO. There was not too much in the books of when Claire is back in the "present", which I like. Seems like they are trying to bring out Frank's part more and I don't like/need it. I'm all about Claire/Jamie or just any scene with Dougal My fav part: "Who does she get the red hair from?" "

Season III, Episode 2: Another ho, hum episode. I just read really fast through these parts in the books and they did not seem to take this long. The one scene with the "other woman" is canon. I don't know that I remember Claire ever being with Frank when she comes back, however. Has anyone else caught up? Let me know, peeps!

I am caught up Ly, I usually watch it on Mon or Tue. I just wanna say that Jamie better kill that McGregor FIRST. Poor kid lost his hand like Jaime at Harrenhal I do like the Boston scenes. I think it would be difficult for Claire to not want to make a new life. She's a young woman, and as far as she knows she'll never get back to Jamie and he most likely died at Culloden. I do want to see what Frank will do when he eventually finds out Red Jamie survived the battle which I expect he will.
Episode 3: Getting there. Bring your kleenex for this one, it's a tear jerker.

Episode 4: We're getting there. I like this Brianna, she seems perfect for the role. Roger, too, although I don't think I have heard him sing yet. I bawled when she got her pearls back , . What say you, fangirls?

I was way too depressed last week when they killed Frank to comment damn it to hell! I’m searching for a good Toby series nowadays. Maybe he’ll show up in the Riverlands... in the BOOKS!!!! Anyway, I almost peed myself with the last scene. Poor Jaime fainted I mean what else could he have done! I love Roger and hope he sticks around. I liked the parallel of going home with both Claire and Jaime getting there but I seem to be missing how Jaime got to be a printer in Edinburgh. I mean the time jumps make my head spin. I like them it’s just that I should build a timeline and see how they fill in the blanks! Broke my heart he had to leave his son behind but Grey and his wife will be good to him I have no doubt.
Next week we will ALL be happy it’s like 90 min of Scottish sexy times
It was all about the sex! Which definitely explains why they made it so long. I also thought it was the right balance of dramatic, funny, sexy and loving and I'm glad to see there's still some plot to be had besides the lovestory! Was happy to see the French kid and the breakfast scene with the ladies giving the Euron Greyjoy advice to Claire was hilarious.
A. Malcom Episode: Finally! I was so glad to see this episode. Going to be snarky here, but Jamie does not tell Claire about Willie, Lord John Grey does, later. I like it better this way, leaves Claire less to be pissed about. Oh, my, did they do good casting for Fergus! what a hottie . So cool to see Young Ian, too. He's supposed to favor his dad more, but glad they are using another Ginger.
