I have to do it. I always open threads for shows in their final season. Why not with this show that I will miss like crazy.
Will post more later because spoilers, have no clue who is watching appart from TW and me and maybe Jap. And Ry used to watch so I watched first episode and loved it. Did you?

You approve enough to watch it? Because it is really good!
I was watching Justified before it was cool!
Al I am having a thought seeing Seth like that. I mean Raylan. No wait I mean Tim! Hot damn that man is hot. And can act too.
For the record, though, I was hunting for spoilers about the series from the moment I knew they plan to do one based on Elmore Leonard's short story. So you and Japie are probably way back behind me in line
Second ep is a follow up. Not a lot happening compared to the big bang of Dewey Crowe and the heist of last week, but I'll comment on it tomorrow.
I thought Cash Game was ok. Loved the Choo Choo conversations! I don't know where they pulled that guy but my side's were hurting at his ialog with both Raylan ("are you following me") and Tim (the Marshal he told he'd put a bullet through Raylan's head).
Oh boy Dillahunt wiping casually his nose with those poor people laundry all confused and pissed at the peacock name calling Also Sam Elliot is in! bet he's the guy Dillahunt and Calhoun are working for.
What I thought was awesome: Boyd and Raylan scene in the hallway at Calhoun's office. What a faceoff you could feel the adversity and undercurrents. Nerves of steel, both of them. And Ava "pissed" at Boyd and telling him he files are on the front seat girl acted cool for the whole conversation, but then you saw her shaking off the fear in the kitchen! She's also a genius!!! Figuring out what Raylan and Boyd totally missed about the deed. Takes a woman

You have to admit it though: first ep was the turtle obsessed guy, then comes the second ep with the Choo Choo Train guy... Honestly if they come up in ep 12 with a TWoW release foreshadowing, I wouldn't be surprised!
I think Ava owned the third episode.
Spoiler
She was cornered by the DA and Rachel and totally shit faced she held her own! Then she did the little job for Boyd's crew basically entering the wolves' den all on her own to recon that pizza parlour. She got lucky it was the Choo Choo Train guy who bumped into her first because it made her job easier. Though Dillahunt smelled her quickly out. And finally here comes Elliot with Dillahunt (sorry I forget the character names) and take her hostage right in her own home waiting for Boyd. And she's still keeps her cool.
I LOVE AVA! Kickass woman. Anyway, tomorrow's next ep. Curious to see how Boyd handles the fallout.
EDIT: cause fuck spoilers! But who know who's bowl I'll be pissing if I don't put them.

So episode three seemed super short so that's how I'll comment too.
Spoiler
Loretta Dickie Bennett Dude blown up Ava on crack aiding the jewelry theft And my personal fave: "Murphy's Law, Occam's Razor, Thor's Hammer.... who gives a fuck?!"

I think I have a crush on Constable Bob! Balls like Deathstar I hope they know what they are doing, but I smell a death coming. And Ava doesn't look good. And now I have to see this week's ep. I fell behind a bit.
I think it is shaping up to be some kind of disaster! I cannot believe that Limehouse gave up Ava. I didn't expect that. Boyd's reaction to her treason should be good. Not sure what Ava's uncle is plotting but after the mine scene where he's pushing Boyd's man down that shaft I cannot believe is anything good. And finally, Good Bye Choo Choo. You were a ray of sunshine.

I do this, open a thread and then don´t post, that´s why I never open new ones. But I was watching, of course. I also think is going to be a disaster, they hinting at it for some time now.
Aw Choo-Choo´s
Spoiler
death was almost poetic
I liked him a lot. Constable Bob broke at least 3 hearts in this forum and just because some people are not watching.
Ava´s uncle plot looks even more misterious in the last episode and I think Boyd´s reaction to Ava was good but somehow I`m finding Boyd a bit annoying and lost this season, acting all offended when he behaved like a creep with her. I guess they deserve each other though. She´s no pearl but this show is so good to make you like the characters that you forget the truth about them.
Wylla Givens is so pretty and I love the name, very good for a criminal
I still can´t get over Sam Elliot´ face without the moustache.
Still think this show´s writing it´s one of the best out there.

Andrea, I always liked Constable Bob. He's such a character but this time he was just perfect. Raylan and him have some quirky but awesome exchanges.
Spoiler
I am on of those who always rooted for Wyonna & Raylan. I didn't think she'll accept him the way he is. After all they divorced because of that to begin with but obviously people change. She did and I think they have a bit more than the odds Raylan gave them. I put them at 63% - 27%.
Boyd was a total ass last season with him asking for a clean slate for him when he could have asked for her release! I think he should have seen this coming.
Spoiler
If it were not Ava, I bet he would have. She's his blind spot. Raylan knew who to use to get to Boyd. Problem arises now that Ava will have to feed him some false info and I think she might get caught. Very curious what Boyd's next move will be. By the way: I loved how Boyd changed the bullets in his gun! He wasn't sure of Ava so he had the gun empty. Can you imagine the shock for Ava if she DID wanna shoot him?!
I agree about Wylla. She'll be murdering them with cuteness! Smooth criminal.
I'll have to rewatch this week's ep. It was so intense! The situation reversals were happening almost every 5 minutes. I do want to say that at this point I have absolutely no freaking idea what Ava is about.
Spoiler
I mean what she told Raylan at the end how Randolph and Boyd plan the vault robbing?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? BUT.. BUT.. I THOUGHT SHE WAS IN WITH BOYD, NO?!?! WTF????
I can't wait to see what else they've got cooking!!! Also the exchanges Boyd/Raylan OMG "you wanna lean in for a kiss". Will comment on when I see it again. I just cannot believe what's happening.
EDIT: forgot spoilers!

Yup, will rewatch too. Many witty dialogues. I was a bit disappointed with Dillanhunt´s

death
. Don´t you?
The weird alliances are so freaking dangerous.

I saw it again tonight. It was still intense and just as insane.
Andrea:
Spoiler
I was a bit surprised at how Dillahunt went, for sure. But the truth is it showed a side of Raylan I don't see quite that often. He is really not the white knight hero type, but every once in a while one keeps forgetting that. I think this shooting Walker in the back goes perfectly with covering for Winnona's theft, and calling Nicky Augustine and his Detroit mafia to solve his problem in the season 4 finale. Dark, the side that Ava reminds him of when she's telling him that he could just as easily become an outlaw. And the part where Raylan said "If you wanted me to shot you in the front you should have run towards me! I felt so bad but I laughed.
Almost forgot: Dangerous alliances holy mother. I mean I don't think there is one single alliance in this series that I'd bank my money on as lasting for more than a couple of episodes. NOT ONE!
Raylan and the "cheapest piece of shit I could buy" was hilarious and heartbreaking at the same time. That Arlo son of a bitch of a father did a huge number on him. I am glad that at least Raylan got to put that part behind him.

So anywho, with all this GoT premiere thingy forgot to post about last night's ep! I'm doing it for Andrea and I really, since no one else is really watching
Spoiler
I was impressed with Loretta. Always knew she had a head for the weed business. Now that it is legal and she has the means to develop it in Harlan, I couldn't imagine her not wanting a piece of the action. Boyd's reaction to her proposing partnership was just as impressive.
Zacharia almost did what Raylan couldn't do. He almost split Ava and Boyd apart Because Boyd was sure Ava was trying to kill him for a second there. But poor Ava was just as surprised. I also have a sneaky suspicion that Zacharia is the reason that robbery did not go was planned. I mean he was the one who dug and set the nitroglycerine to blow up.
I was shocked to find out that it was Wynn Duffy who turned on Katherine's husband. I predict a quick death for him.
And OMFG! Katherine blasted the brains of Markum's guy in the hotel room and picked up the phone for a "cleaning" service speaking in French cool as a cucumber?!?! Ovaries of steal, that one has.
Yet the ep fell short a bit somehow. I can't say what was missing to be honest, but it was in dissonance with the rest of the season so far.

Sonofagun! Am i the only one who sees this series?! So how about THAT ending for this week's ep, TW? did you think Ava had it in her?! OVARIES THE SIZE OF DEATHSTAR that woman has. #TeamAva Also Mickey oh, he did good! Wyn looks like he's in BIG trouble. And let's all give it up to the douche of the week called DA whatshisface. (I hate him now) See ya next week TW!
I used to watch Justified, TW, and loved it (I mean, my crush on Oliphant aside, I grew up in Kentucky, although not in Eastern Kentucky), but I got behind on some episodes and could never get caught up. :(

:( That's ok, Nymeria. Maybe you'll give it a shot one day. I'm like Ry and Girls. We like to post in a thread all by ourselves I like Ry and I'm not so bad myself. people who type to themselves are ok. (maybe a little crazy? )
I think I need to buy this series on DVD. I mean just when you think they topped it off, they literally go even further. In a good way. The Markum, Catherine, Wyn & Mickey rectangle of the old betrayal is finally solved. Not quite as I have expected though. I don't know if I should feel bad or laugh at Mickey. Seriously, they made a sideline character into something quite unique. That's the thing about these writers, they take something that in any other series would be cartoonish and flat and they make it something you cannot dismiss or forget. Ava and her uncle are gooood. I mean I felt sorry for how they found their guide but at least they have a head start. Also good to see the boss around. I Tim (the character) and I have never forgotten what Boyd is. But in case I did, the writing here made me remember
Constable Bob dies because Boyd shot him I will cut a bitch. In fact I will cut all the bitches and there's a lot of them I loved Bob and his Mocha Latte car refresher Trying to sell the "bright side" to Ava while Boyd is out to murder them! I hate Vasquez and his BOLO on Raylan but I suppose it is the logical thing to do from his perspective. Tim was insanely hilarious on his conversation with Art relaying every single move Vasquez made in the Marshal's office. And no idea what will Markum do with Ava. She sure won't tell him where the money is. BTW Where on earth could she and Zacharia have hidden that much money?!
Finale is next week. It is a full on showdown Like Wyn said: Raylan Givens, Avery Markum and Boyd Crowder are converging... It's like planets aligning if the plants had guns and hated him
I have a little time and just wanted to use it to say I`m afraid to watch episode 13.

I hesitated to post after I've seen it on Tue. I'm split on this one ep, the finale out of all. It has come full circle, I suppose. It has been an amazing series though. I rarely love a TV show quite like this. This one for me just hit the right note. All the time. Even in the end though it is true: I expected fireworks. But I think the quiet lifelike end just makes sense.

I think that´s the thing. Hit the right note all the time so the ending had to be like that. I loved it, the jump to the future was a bit out of place but it was nice. I was very worried, luckily
Spoiler
noone I really cared about died. I was particularly worried about Art, loved that man.
. I will miss this show for many many reasons but the timeline!!! how refreshing was that the editing and the telling was just a simple, straight line of presents towards a future... how cool is that! no more stupid flash backs or time all scrumbled, just nice, simple, witty, storytelling.
As always the lines were truly amazing and I want to quote some more but Art´s line to the crooked cop that caught Rayland at the beginning, had me laughing for a while: “You'll either change your attitude right quick or I'll tear you a new asshole that you can carry a watermelon in"

The season took a few detours to include all the characters and round up almost every story-arc, so it wasn't perfectly fluent but hotdamn-light-up-the-fridge if it wasn't a fucking awesome season like all the others. This show delivered and then some. I wonder if I'll ever see a show again that so effortlessly makes every single character (even if they were only on the screen for 3 minutes) so vibrantly alive it feels like you have been watching them for years on end. Every fucking writer in Hollywood should watch this show and take note on how you write characters and dialogues (*cough* Game of Thrones).
I do feel robbed we didn't get to see Bob in the 4-years later segment.
I rewatched it. It feels right. Ava keeping the shotgun close to the door 4 years later still Ava. Raylan and Winnona are back from where they started. And so is Boyd. I did wonder what he'd do if he knew about Ava's situation... Bob probably made sargent or gone into FBI detail The man is worth it!
