Disagree completely, this season has felt extremely rushed and hastily written.
I agree with this in the fact that we have not been given a chance to bond with or learn who the Sand Snakes even are. I don't have a clue who shows their tits, who has a whip and who is using the spear. Not enough Doran by far.

Rhaegar, despite wounding Robert, was struck down with a massive blow from Robert's warhammer, which scattered the rubies encrusted in Rhaegar's armor under the water. Rhaegar died with Lyanna Stark's name on his lips.

The Dorne scenes have almost been blink and you'll miss them.
More time should of been dedicated to that region instead of wasting it on Grey Worm and Missandei's atrocious romance.

Its easy Ly, the one that showed her is "Booby Sand", the grumpy one with the spear is "Pouty Sand", the one with the whip is "Whippy Sand!"
Easy Peasy!

I'm sure those 2 and a half minutes of Missendei and Grey Worm would have made such a difference.
If they'd cut those scenes, we would just have had fewer scenes in the season. They wouldn't have gone "well, we cut one scene, better replace them". The episode times are flexible.

The show does what it can, even 10 hours is barely enough and they have snipped out 6 or 8 characters from the books. The book series is an adaptation nightmare, and to think Hollywood wanted to adapt the whole series in a 3 movie trilogy at first.
So in some ways we are quite lucky, it could've been SO much worse.

It has been explained that the logistical pipeline of the show does not allow it. The production scale, schedule, editing and FX need the amount of time to turn-around and deliver the show on a yearly basis.
A sign of this is that there are barely any deleted scenes each season, they shoot exactly and only what the script lines out, no time for extra stuff.

I don't buy that, HBO has the means and resources to make it happen. D & D are a pair of wimps, if they think GOT's schedule is hectic they should take a look at what Dr George Miller went through with Fury Road!
They've already got three crews running simultaneously for 180 days. There's only so much they can do without it becoming an unmanageable mess, it's got nothing to do with resources. But I guess it's more convenient to think that D&D are just lazy assholes

Yeah, they're so lazy they even got the Alcazar. Come on man. That beach was fine, beaches look alike. Why wouldn't they use a more convenient location when it basically looks the same.

A 2 hour car chase movie ≠ 10 hour cinema quality series, and you know that!

Dorne is a freaking desert man!!! there isn't long ass grass near the beaches. That was lazy. It's not like they haven't shot in Dorn'ish looking locations before.

Please go and read up on the issues Miller had to overcome making Fury Road. And he did all of this in his 60's!!
I pictured Dorne looking like Morocco or like parts of the Middle East, not a gloomy beach in the middle of Northern Ireland! I can't believe people are even defending those scenes, it looked nothing like Dorne. I mean they've even made a big deal out of how the climate is so brutal it makes the people want to "fuck, fight, fuck while fighting, fight while fucking."
Anyway hopefully now that Bronn and Jaime are at the Water Gardens we won't have to ever visit that dank beach again!
There is nothing wrong with the fertility of the land that Jaime and Bronn came ashore on:
"Dorne's rivers provide some fertile lands and even during a long summer there is enough rain and other supplies of water to keep Dorne habitable.[3] Inland water is almost as valuable as gold, and wells are jealously guarded. "
Well I concur with Sand Snake comments , we had no time to invest in them as characters . I hate pugly snake !
Loved Tyrion being set free ... hate Hotah ... no where near BIG enough. Okay so Bronn is Oakheart . Nice to hear him sing ...
What else ... Fit mad monk Lannister FINALLY spilling the beans .... Sansa , Sansa, Sansa .... die your hair again love , you had balls with black hair ... red hair = whimp! There's sooooo many ways you could get revenge ... clocks a tickin' .
I have invested sooo much into this saga , I will see it to the end , but ... common .. it's surely time to wrap up the Stark kids revenge ... Isn't that what it's all be for ? After all ?
Anyone else feel like D & D are giving George one last chance to get his arse in gear? Seems like the big spoilers won't be happening until season 6 judging by that synopsis.

I would say that is mighty decent of them, George has till April 2016 to get his book out before season 6....hmmm...think he will make it?

I think he'll make it. His publisher is going to release whatever he has finished by the end of the year and rush it out. HBO is not doing Martin a favor by not having the big spoilers by the end of the season. For a TV serial, these huge cliffhangers are part and parcel. For a book series, it's cheating the reader.

I concur. Though I thought he'd get his ass in gear and get it out by Season 5.

Yes! I read today the synopsis for the last episodes, and not only they stuck to much of the Feast & Dance but also doesn't look like they cut whole storylines either with the possible exception of fAegon. According to the casting speculation: Euron is in for next season, Balon will die. Oldtown trip is in too and Dany flying to the Dothraki sea looks more probable by the second. Now all we need is Stoneheart, Brynden Fish and the Riverlands confirmation!
