Because it's never too early to start talking about the next James Bond flick. And has it been over 2 years since Skyfall's release? Man, it doesn't seem like it.
Spectre is scheduled for release 6 November 2015. And some fans want Shirley Bassey to once again do the theme song:

Preparing for the vapors of no return watching that one, unf!

I didn't know that the teaser was out! The cinematography looks great once again. Not sure what to make of the story, it doesn't look all that intriguing but then teasers are pretty stupid in general.
I rather like it. I always thought the Bond movies before Daniel are lighter in some way. Daniel came along it just made it really personal and dark. Even the cinematography on the Craig ones is completely different. Sure, it is also the special effects but the stories have gotten darker and personal too. I cannot remember any others that dealt with Bond's past before MI6. Were there?
I'm trying to get hype up, because you know at 10pm on November 5, I'll be standing outside of our local IMAX theatre with tickets to the 3-D showing and will watch it just as soon as it's released!

Theme song is out and already number 1 on the British Charts:
Holy shan, I love this song. Beautiful
As much as I like Craig in this I might have to root a bit for Christoph Waltz. He is my fav bad guy. Just adore him in all things QT.

Monica Bellucci is the dead girl. There's always seems to be a dead one and one surviving by the end however Craig and her will be steaming hot. I'm going . And FYI seems like Daniel stated in no uncertain terms he's done. I figured he'd say that but still...
Macha! Idris Elba would be perfect. I was quite excited the first time I heard that rumor. I don't know if it will come true but it is a damn good one.
Very funny Ry. But I heard head of the programming at HBO said he's totally open to do the third season of True Detective. Maybe they can call Vince back for another role!

Saw it yesterday, it was ok but not as good as Casino Royale or Skyfall. This was a very classic Bond movie: (spoilertags for the spoilersensitive people, but basically a basic pattern for every Bond movie)
Spoiler
big bad villain on top of a big bad organisation, Bond has to go rogue, has to fight a muscled right hand of the big bad villain before he fights his way to the top, also fucks 2 chicks, big showdown at the big bad evil compound.
Camerawork is what saved this movie though, everything looked amazing. The openingscene alone was worth it.

The variations on the version were fantastic. The visuals were very appealing and Christoph Waltz alone was worth it. And Dave Bautista. Monica Bellucci had very little in terms of face time.
I loved it.

Totally right Cary. I liked it. Revealed even more of James' past than we previously knew which is always exciting to me. I liked they've involved Q more into Bond's shenanigans. They also brought something of a closure to what it was Daniel Craig's Bond considering how it all tied together since Casino Royale. To me this felt like the end of an era. Bunch of other stuff I could say but don't want to spoil it for those who hadn't seen it.
The scene where Bond falls onto the couch (lololol), Batista, Monica was wonderful and too limited, Waltz and I could have even used more of him, all the previous mentions of members of Spectre (did that include M?), scenery was lovely, music was awesome - my kid kept telling me to shut up with singing (lol).
Things I did not like:
Spoiler
The MUCH younger girl, ugh! Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know Bond has been with younger girls in the past but this girl just made me squirm. There is no chemistry between them and just ugh with the big head giving fake lips on this chick, yuck . It was too long. If there is no Aragorn or William Wallace, I can't watch for that long.
Overall:
Spoiler
8/10, but not up to Skyfall or Casino Royale.

Yeah Lea Seydoux is very underwhelming. I was hoping for more Bellucci but they went the easy route. The movie was so freaking long that halfway the movie I had to buy extra beer, luckily the bar was just outside so I only missed 2 minutes. I entered the cinema again with 6 beers and the first dialogue I heard was "do you have an alcohol addiction?."
Saw this Saturday night. Appreciated the cap about all the past movies, but at the same time it was probably the most predictable of the new Bond movies to date. Identical to the Cumberbatch Khan reveal, in this case the Blofeld reveal was obvious long before the movie was released. I'd categorize it as a strong 70/100. Also I always liked Bond intros but this song was awful. The art of all the old faces was good though.
Oh and
NOT ENOUGH MONICA BELLUCCI (and perhaps, the most cliche of all sex scenes as her husband died the day before)...
I still think that Goldeneye and Casino Royale are the better of all the new movies, but the whole thing is in desperate need of something new and exciting. Blah.

I liked this but I'm with Sid and Ly on the Casino Royale being better. I positively loved that one and I don't think anything after was quite as good as that. And for the intro, I will fess up and say that I'm not crazy about them generally. Tina Turner's is the exception.
Wow. Pardon my bluntness, but what a boring, rehashed piece of crap. Should have known this would be shit ever since they released the shitty soundtrack.
and I was thinking what words can I use to not be so blunt! Thank you Machuska, those were exactly my words. Really lazy movie, a pity.
Casino Royale was unique.
