Oh no doubt Andrea. I didn't think to absolve Dev of her part in it. I just put him first because he had the nerve to snap afterwards because she got a little TOO cozy with it. I mean everyone in that room knew what they both were doing and he somehow goes apeshit?! I don't know. Just an all around mind fuck.

No I know, just wanted to share the disappointment
Yes, as Ry said, wasn´t the first time.

I must say I was happy to see Ziggy. Good for Dev for picking up the kids and leaving. Richie spent his whole ep with the dead Ernst and I still like Andrea. That's pretty much it. Oh, also the way Nasty Bits got their lead guitar too funny. Missed Lester and I thought it was a bit too much time spent on Richie's hallucinations as well as "Dev gone missing" part.
Crazy epsiode. Richie is gone gone gone. Thought the dude looked like a fat Bowie. And lots of Stooges. And loved Buddy. And naked bush for Ms. Wilde. Unfaroni.

I am too but not liking it much tbh. He´s too much of a fuck up, we already know it. The elvis part made me want to cry.

I hear ya peep. Richie is not a good character. Definitely rooting against him. (Unlike McNulty, an equal fucktard in his own right, but I rooted for him). I love all the secondary actors, Ray Romano is a blessing, and of course all the musical montages.

me too but mostly for the secondary characters and the music, always. Richie and Devon can suck it

Knew that paint job will get him into trouble however it turns out he said the right things with Joe Corso (saying it was self defense). What I mean is Richie may be a fuck up but this time he will not be totally burnt I also have strong suspicion the cops are hunting for Gallazzo (or whatever the spelling is) and they will try to get at him through Richie. I can't believe Zak went along with it. Lester was pretty amazing. Taught the Nasty Bits kid a lesson Music is so goooood.

Well, it didn't take them long to figure out that they can get to Gallasso through Richie. I wonder who gets whacked in the next ep. I AM surprised he confessed it to Dev. Zak got his own back for the Las Vegas "rob" and I am shocked that it was HIM that said "drop Hannibal"! I loved him for it. Other than that, it was all about tits, ass and cock this ep

As the season has progressed, I've found myself less and less interested in Richie's story. Don't get me wrong, I really like Cannavale, and I think he's doing a great job, I'm just not interested in his story. Fortunately, I find some of the other characters quite compelling, so I continue to watch.

we all feel the same I think. Secondary characters and the music.

I like Bobby C alot as well, but the character is brutal to watch. The writers are failing to make him a despicable but likeable character that makes the audience root for him (Like Tony Soprano, Jaime Lannister, or Walter White). If they werent trying so hard to make him likeable I would enjoy it more, but it is being shoved up our asses far too much.

I'm pretty curious about how it turns out for Richie. Looks like he's staying sober for a while and something has to come through for him. Hopefully Gallasso won't feed any of the likable characters to the fish! I'm looking at you Lester Grimes.
OK, I don't think that was quite as exciting as a season finale should be. I was hoping they'll close some threads but clearly planned for two seasons.
Poor Zak he walked right into that one. Richie was right, what did he expect from Galasso after trying to oust him, working behind his back. Frankly he got lucky Galasso knew Joe as a loud mouth. He specifically told him several times he is running his mouth too much... So out of the five, it was the next obvious choice.
Dick move on Richie's part to stir up and manipulate reviews but it totally worked. Calling the cops and creating controversy. And on that note, I really liked the fact Lester decided to take the money and negotiate more bands to manage.
No Dev or anything to do with her or Richie's family. That IS odd for a finale.
I can't think of anything else but the fact that it was a Terrence Winter written ep. And he's out of this.
So it goes. I'd wanted the show to do well, and I was going to at least follow season 1 through until the end, but as it turned out, I never even got around to watching the season finale, which, to me, is pretty indicative of my overall interest. I enjoyed the secondary stories, but I never enjoyed the main one. In fact, were it not for wanting to see more of Birgitte Hjort Sorensen's work, I probably wouldn't have made it as far as I did.
