Cary, I figured out an oddity in the second poster Ok, so it is clear a theme Stark vs Lannister but you see, Arya is in the Lannister column while Jaime is in the Stark one. If it turns out Arya is a Lannister while Jamie is Benjen I'm gonna have a fit
Here's a link to the page where Abyss does all the gifs. If you scroll to the bottom, you'll see gifs from the above clip. I can't adjust the brightness on my computer, right now, but maybe you can see him in one of the gifs.
Rhaegar, despite wounding Robert, was struck down with a massive blow from Robert's warhammer, which scattered the rubies encrusted in Rhaegar's armor under the water. Rhaegar died with Lyanna Stark's name on his lips.
So much greatness. UnGregor wrecking shop, Arya going full ninja, ToJ, Davos leading the charge, Sansa in full Stark regalia, Brienne at Riverrun. Looks to be a fantastic season.

Book purists are gonna go nuts wondering what is coming from the GRRM manuscript and what is made up! And if they like it they will automatically assume it from the infallible GRRM himself, and if it disappointing...boo hiss D&D fanfiction!

If all this happens in the first two eps I like the ToJ sequence so much it hurts! Blegh Wlader Frey. Cooked goose that one and I wouldn't put it past Benioff and Weiss to give that kill to Bri! (Can we speculate here?)
Nah, that trailer was clearly a lot of stuff from the whole season. No way will Brienne be in the Riverlands that soon, or Davos at Bear Island fot example.

Oh Varys and the red priestess something is up there! I also am positively dying to know who is Petyr meeting all by his lonesome in the North snow. He's cooking up something.
Cosca, I'm relieved you think it's the Mormonts! I was afraid there are lion banners on those walls . Couldn't make out what it was. Didn't look like a bear to me but who can say. I thought the EW guys said the trailer is all from the first two eps. Maybe he was speaking of the first trailer.
@Cosca: it was his speech too. He makes a point to emphasize that the "real" war is between the living and the dead. Like whatever wars between the Houses were before, it needs to be forgotten because he's recruiting for the bigger war. If he needs people he might have gone to the Lannisters too as unlikely as that sounds.
Yep Yvy & Cosca, they did a breakdown of scenes at Wotw and it looks like one of the flags on a battlefield is Mormont's and matches those where Davos goes. Pretty neat that we get to see Bear Island.
Umbers seem to be deep in with the Boltons as far as the trailers go. I wonder if they'll mention the Greatjon at all.
I think it's very cool that we're essentially getting Stannis' book storyline with Jon instead. It means so much more that way, and is a nice twist on Mel's visions.

You can see the Umber banners behind Ramsay in some footage. Sonething tells me they're just gonna make the Umbers bad guys. After all, to show watchers they're really just some house. The show has never made the point of saying they've always been die hard Stark loyalists.

HBO released 3 scenes from season 6. Two are from teh first episode, and one is from either the second or third (the video says 3rd, EW says it's from the second episode).
I wonder how they will do the revival of Jon Snow...will he be revived in episode one?
Or does his body disappear and then he shows up revived and ready for battle by the end of the season?

Not a trailer per se but it can go here. Mel is several centuries old apparently. Funny but I have never pictured Throne as Brutus though he does seem righteous.
Season 6, episode 4: “Book of the Stranger” will premiere on Sunday, May 15th.
Synopsis: Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) strikes a deal. Jorah (Iain Glen) and Daario (Michiel Huisman) undertake a difficult task. Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Cersei (Lena Headey) try to improve their situation.
Season 6, episode 5: “The Door” will premiere on Sunday, May 22nd.
Synopsis: Tyrion seeks a strange ally. Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) learns a great deal. Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) goes on a mission. Arya (Maisie Williams) is given a chance to prove herself.
This goes to confirm, holy crap, that Daenerys will be with the dothraki at least until Episode 6. Maybe the lack of pictures etc. of her in some other place is due because there isn't much left.
Tyrion strikes a deal...with the masters I guess?
As for Episode 5...
Strange ally = I guess this is Kinvara, the other red priest.
"Bran learns a great deal" = Either R+L=J or something about the White Walkers or Benjen Stark. who knows. Some people theorize that Hodor means "Hold the Door", hence "The Door" title...but I doubt it (what sense does it make?).
Arya = Still in the House of Black and White I see.

In the newly released photos we see Quiburn with a bunch of poorly dressed children.
I think what quiburn does is using dark alchemy to perform blood magic. Afterall, the first thing he did with the dying body of the mountain was extract the blood. So I assume Ser Robert Strong doesnt eat or drink, a fresh supply of human blood infusion keeps him going. Which is why the kids are there, to be drained.
Or I could be totes wrong.

Yeah, he could totally be about to run incredibly disturbing experiments. And that Robert Strong theory even sounds sort of likely. But I think he's just playing his role as new Master of Whispers, using Varys' same method.
